I made an appointment for a haircut after three months of curt my own hair. I had gotten an unfortunate cut and was really scared to go anywhere! Called twice - got answering machine with message to leave mssg and they would call back I left message that I needed appointment, never heard back that afternoon, nor did I hear back today and they are now closed I would not recommend them for the reason you can't get anyone on the phone to make appt In all my years of having hair/nails done, I have never gone to a salon that someone did not pick up the phone during business hours. I have left after hour messages other places and always heard back first thing the next business day I guess they don't want any new customers since I never received a phone call back. Ive been getting my hair cut and colored along with pedicures here for a couple of years and have been really pleased with all the services I receive. It's an Aveda salon so it smells great and the quality of the products is excellent. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, and the owner, Lori, is always hands on and manages a great salon. She has put together a talented crew and I don't think you could go wrong with anyone you booked an appointment with. The new renovation was much needed and turned out beautifully. This Salon better known as EnVogue is a nice surprise in downtown Boyne City. I had a shellac manicure and a pedicure today by Christina and can say without hesitation that it was excellent. Very clean with a friendly relaxed atmosphere. They have an extensive line of OPI products and use the CDS shellac products as well as a new to me nail polish by the same company that dries in8 mins and is said to last without chips for up to a week. The shellac and the nail polishes are exact matches so no more guessing what color to use to match your shellac tips. I will go back and this time try the salon hair services. They carry a huge selection of Redkin products. read more

I tried a few other salons in the area but this is the one I've stuck with. The staff is friendly and very professional. They are the closest thing I've found "up north" to a nicer salon in a large metro area. They carry Aveda products too which is a definite plus. Jason does a great job with my hair, I have been happy with the results of cuts, colors and highlights. My kids also like coming here. I'd recommend it for anyone. read more

Just had my hair (and 9 other women's hair) done for my wedding there. The people were SO nice. Lori, the owner made sure each girl had their own chair and snack! They set up an awesome table with fruit and other snacks. Everyone there was super punctual and they saved us a TON of money (especially in comparison to the other salons in the area). If I lived closer, I would definitely go there more often. read more
