For starters treating clients with proper care. What happened to me was insanely unprofessional, and the lack of cooperation to issue a refund for malpractice, forced me to resort to getting help from another piercer as well as contact the health department. When trying to come to an agreement with manager Mariano Goff, I was met with a rude and unwelcoming attitude. My husband got a simple tattoo on his finger for the birth of his granddaughter and within 3 weeks it has COMPLETELY disappeared!! We do not live in Tucson or else we would have gone back in for a touch up. I called the shop and Scott was completely rude, answering the phone with HELLO,...I told him the situation and told him that we did not live in AZ. He told me that we would have to come back in for a touch up and they don't give refunds. I again told him that we do not live there so there was no way for us to come back in. I asked if I could speak with the owner and he told me he was at another location. I asked for the phone number and it took him awhile to find it. (I found it before he did). The male staff here is disgusting and completely inappropriate especially if you are a young woman. to my face, I was sexually harassed and objectified about my body. saying I had a nice "ass" and "figure" and they couldn't "help it but mention it to me" and I even caught them trying to take a picture or video of me while I was walking away to use the restroom, I was 18 at the time of getting the tattoo. it was extremely uncomfortable, and disgusting. not only just this but I overheard the same man that sexualized me boasting about tax evasion and how they successfully teach it to all their new apprentices ? wild statement to say in front of a customer literally in the next room over 5ft away. this was my 3rd and final experience here with this franchise. but what prompted me to review this finally was seeing one of enchanted tattoo artists publicly announce his relationship with a minor. (He looks roughly about mid 30s). I am completely disgusted and appalled by this franchise and hope to see its bankruptcy one day. they really set the bar for your shitty stereotypical misogynist tattoo shop. leaving the actual good shops. with a bad taste in their mouths. do better enchanted. hire better people. or just idk sell the company and rebrand or burn it to the ground. because I've talked to A LOT of people who have been to your shop and have had similar and even worse experiences than I did. I'm going all in with the positive review. I've gotten work done from various shops, in various cities. That being said, I have reasonable expectations from a shop/artist. I met Strange this past Friday, and brought my idea to him. He booked me for the next day, and was equally excited for the end result. My first session was from 2pm-11pm. The second was 10:30am-1:00pm. He didn't rush his work, but he still knocked out the entire tattoo in two days. Ideally, no one wants to sit in a chair, getting their skin poked with a tattoo gun for that long. I know my sessions are nothing compared to some much longer sessions others have sat through, but the nine hour session was a breeze. The second session went by like a breeze. Strange has a steady hand, and the sting was slight, and tolerable, throughout the entirety of both sessions. I had great conversations with Strange and Terry, another tattoo artist in that shop. Super friendly guys. The shop itself was clean, and well managed. My experience was above expectations. My piece still needs to heal, and be touched up, but judge it for yourself... Cost wise, every shop has their own rates. That being said, This location has a 50 dollar minimum, which is nothing compared to other shops. He showed us his piercing set up, all his tools in autoclaved bags (I work in dental and know what to look for to tell if a bag has been sterilized) and everything was really really clean. I called pretty last minute and came in with two of my friends since we all came in for little tattoos. Terry is a chameleon and super easy to get along with. He is very good and surprisingly fast! He fit us in before my friends had to depart to go back to Alaska. We are super excited with how they turned out. He's using this new technology that's called Dermalize and it's literally a protective tattoo film that is the all-in-one aftercare solution for the initial healing of your tattoo. I've never used it before but it's awesome so far. It allows your tattoo to stay sterile and because it's a breathable material it can receive oxygen but because it's kind of like a bandage it also allows just enough "moisture" to help benefit and promote the healing. I have one tattoo around the same size as this one but this was done with way better technique and finesse. Can't believe how little time the three of us actually spent in there~ even though we took a long time to decide what we wanted - we were in and out relatively fast. He was super patient with us through our deciding. He is very reasonable with his prices. I will definitely be going to him again whenever I need to get anything done. They have a tv setup by the front where the tattoo room is. There may be other since they have two or three places for tattooing but we spent most of our time at Terry's station toward the front. He thought I wanted a consultation for future work, but I already knew what I wanted and where. "Okay," he says, "I have another tat to do can you come back in two hours?" Had a nice lunch and went back at 2:00 o'clock and as soon as he finished the person ahead of me he cleaned up and called me right away. Very friendly and professional, he had my font picked out spot on before I even showed him my example. Very satisfied with the outcome, of course I didn't get five or six hours of work done, but I have no doubt that if I had I would have been just as satisfied. If you are ready for some new ink or something to cover up or freshen up that name you had put on your butt in high school give "Gene" a call. I've gotten two tattoos from Terry but I won't be coming back; the first time I walked in on a Saturday night with two friends, and he told us he was tired and wanted to go home, so he's give us a discount if we came back the next night, which we did and were all tattooed, and I love that tattoo, but while I was getting it he vaped a little too much and blew in my face more than once, which I wasn't comfortable with. I went back in again two days ago alone with a tattoo in mind, having set up an appointment over Instagram for 10 AM Monday morning. He doesn't show up until 11 AM, as I was getting my stuff and was about to leave because of the lack of professionalism, and he came up saying that he had written me down in his book as being Tuesday. While a reasonable mistake, he had an 11 AM appointment set that he took before me, and I had two of the people working there texting him by 10:15 saying he had his 10 am there, and he was telling them for 45 minutes that he was on his way. I was extremely disappointed, and I frankly should have walked out and found a different artist to do my second tattoo. As much as I love the tattoos, I will not be coming back. read more

I went in to get a tattoo a couple months ago for Friday the 13th for a SIMPLE tattoo and walked away with a misplaced, misshapen disaster. The line work was all over the place and they offered to fix it for free, so I went in to get it fixed by the original artist because that's their policy, and walked away with an even worse tattoo. I want to cry every time I look at it. It was supposed to be a tribute to a deceased family member and now al it is to me is an ugly mark on my body. I originally went to the Speedway location because there are such great reviews on that spot, but they were busy so a worker told me to go to the Broadway location. I thought, "Oh that'll be fine because it's the same company, they should be great too". I had a SPECIFIC font that I wanted. I brought like two different sketches of what I wanted and I said can you please do exactly this on my foot? The guy, I think they called him "Turtle", said sure and went in the back to sketch it out. While I waited the piercing guy was cool, a little out of my comfort zone, but nice. And I know THIS IS WHERE I PERSONALLY MESSED UP. THE SECOND I HEARD THESE THINGS I SHOULD'VE LEFT BUT I STUPIDLY GAVE HIM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. When I went back there, he told me how he had the worst headache, how he didn't even want to do this because he had already done four tattoos that day, how the sketch he made (didn't look exactly how I wanted it) would be a great tattoo and how I should just trust him. He took like three Advils and kept saying how he hates feet, but mine are beautiful so he is willing to do it, other wise he would've told me to get the fuck out. Like I have one other tattoo, I don't know if the stereotypical movie portrayed tattoo artists are legit or don't know what they're doing so I went with it. Needless to say, the tattoo was nothing like what I drew out. I wanted to cry and I know he overcharged me. It was a small five letter word and it was $80 even though the lady at the other location said he'd charge me like $50. I am stupid for thinking I could just walk into a place I didn't trust and let them not make the tattoo I wanted. But this is a lesson to those who read these reviews, don't go here. Don't make the same mistake I did. They will not give you the tattoo you want, the guy literally said he didn't really want to do it he just wanted the money, and he also told me if a girl ever walks in there that wants like your "basic tattoos (butterflies etc)" he will turn you away instantly. Well I Wanted A Moon, Simplest Moon I Tried To Find. And I Showed A FULL Drawing Of A Mermaid For A Forearm Tattoo, He Said $300. Cool Another Day, Tell Me This Guy Draws A Crescent Moon On My Arm Not Where I Told Him Mind You, But Draws On Me With A Sharpie, Yet Didn't Draw It Up Beforehand Nothing. Third, Literally Before My Friend Got Her Tattoo We Both Said We Were Gonna Do Red Ink To Him. He Did Hers No Big Problem, Mine? Oh That's Gonna Be $200 Now. When He Originally Priced Me $80, Then Upped Me To $120 FOR HIS OWN DRAWING, Then Another $80 For Red Ink? This Tattoo Isn't Even The Size of A Dollar Coin, Yet He Wanted To Charge Me $200 When A Whole Ass Mermaid Would Cost Only $100 More.. Wouldn't Recommend This Place, At All. Like We Already Had To Wait 1 Hour At The Other Location Just To Be Told This Location "Would Take Care of Us" Smh. Thanks Guys For A Tattoo I'm Gonna Have To Cover Up. Pretty Awesome. read more

Really disappointed... I'm so unhappy with my tattoo. I went in for a cover up and the placement is off, the artists added shading around the tattoo without even asking me and you can still see the tattoo under. When I reached out to this particular artist, he said "yes I do cover ups and the way I do them it doesn't look like a coverup was done". I literally cried when I got home and now I don't even want to put my hair up so people won't see it. read more

After debating for many years and checking out many tattoo shops in town as well as Artists, we discovered Gene at Enchanted. There was no pressure from Gene to hurry up and rush me into something I might regret like other artists in town had done. He has taken the extra time to make sure everyone is comfortable and it honestly feels like a home away from home with Gene. He genuinely cares about each person that he does work on and gets to know them. He is incredibly talented, listens to exactly what I want and is able to create the perfect tattoos for us. Both my husband and I have had beautiful artwork created by Gene. He is very much by the book in regards to making sure that the process is explained to newbies like myself and making sure everything is sterile. He is one of the best there is and does an amazing job. I have had all of my tattoos done by him and have never been disappointed in how I was treated by him or how he prepared everything. He has worn gloves with each tattoo and takes the time to make sure that the tattoo is precisely what I want. I am notoriously picky and have pretty high expectations when it comes to getting a tattoo. All of the staff at this location are phenomenal and when we need some ink theraphy Gene is the Man we go to. You cannot go wrong with Gene and it is nice to go somewhere that you feel comfortable and taken care of. The staff here are all about making all of the customers who come in feel comfortable whether they are their clients or not. I have had plenty of compliments on my Tattoos and I highly recommend Gene. The line work on my tattoos is beautiful, he isn't heavy handed and they have healed beautifully Gene is really honest, kind hearted, talented and makes sure everyone feels like they are an old friend. Years ago I went here and got some work done by a wonderful female who apparently doesn't work there anymore. I had gone in and asked about the price to get something done and ended up getting it done right then and there. I decided to go back again recently and get more work done. The man was very rude. He was in the back talking to his girlfriend and obviously thought she was more important than a paying customer. I showed him what I wanted to get and he said it can't be done unless it was a bit bigger. I went to Kinko's to have it enlarged, about twice the size. I head back to the shop and he responds "You're back." acting like I had just gone outside and came back in, which I obviously didn't seeing as it took 20 minutes to get to the print place and have it printed bigger. I hand him the picture and say "I enlarged it" he didn't believe me even though it was obvious it had been enlarged because the original was about 5 inches and the new one was now 8. I was tempted to tell him I would bring in the original from my car and show him that I had in fact enlarged it. He just sat there staring at it. The way he was acting was that of "you are bothering me, I would rather be back there talking to my girlfriend then helping you." His excuse that he couldn't do it today was that he was the only one in the shop at the moment. He proceeded to set up an appointment and told me to leave at least a $40 deposit, to guarantee my time slot and so "no funny shit gets pulled." He also said I could not have a card with the store's number on it unless I left a deposit. read more
