I learned that this farm has been open for roughly 5 years and they just got some new baby goats! Came here for the picnic alpaca visit ($44/person for 2 hours) and had a great time with the tour and animal feeding with Esther! She was really kind and explained all the to-do's and what not-to-do's when interacting with the animals. She was also very knowledgeable about the farm animals and the different types of alpacas. She was a fantastic host! The alpacas are all pretty well mannered and calm - there were some children in our group and they all did great with all the animals. I'd highly recommend checking out this farm if you want a fun engaging experience for a few hours - for both kids and adults! They have a small gift shop as well. read more

Pros: both my child and I had a good time here. There are plenty of alpacas and other farm animals. There were treats given to us so we can feed the animals. The staff was helpful and explained safety rules clearly, and helped us understand so much more about farm animals, especially alpacas. This place has been on my to do list for awhile and I finally made it in person. Be sure to friend them on the socials so you can stay up to date on all the upcoming events. It's a bit of a drive, kind of hidden out of the way, but worth it. I meet a friend and her kid for an alpaca picnic and we had the best time. I absolutely love alpacas and find them to be one of the cutest animals in existence. It's easy to make reservations online and if you're not certain about the weather looks like the cancellation period is decent. Plenty of parking, port a potty bathrooms, real sinks to wash hands and you can bring your own food. Our alpaca picnic was a 2 hour experience, where you can bring your own food (beer and wine too) to eat while surrounded by alpacas inside their hang out area. In case you are wondering, they don't seem too interested in people food. I had thought we needed to bring our own chairs, but there were plenty of picnic tables with table cloths available. We had a great spot in the sun on a sunny Spring Day, not too many bugs either. They encouraged us to share our table if it was crowded, but it was not. The 2 staff we interacted with were great and the animals were a joy. The family who owns the farm is Peruvian, they are going to do some summer camp programs new this year. There were so many alpacas including some baby ones in a pen near the parking area. We were given food and able to feed them from our hands. Many of them were a little camera shy, but you could also pet them on their backs if you wanted. These ones are nice and fluffy as they do not get shaved for a little while longer. There are also sheep, donkeys, goats, bunnies and a few birds. We went on an excursion to feed them too, currently there are many adorable lambs. I had a hard time enticing the bunnies to eat the food we were given, but they were so soft. There's also a little store on site in case you need to take home a souvenir. read more

We spent a fantastic day at the alpaca farm. Esther was very knowledgeable and was able to educate us on all of the farm animals that we met today. My kids were all asking to come back before we had even left! We definitely recommend this for all ages. My 3 year old niece thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my 8, 10 and 13-year-old!! All of the animals were so friendly, we really enjoyed our time with them! We were lucky enough to be there just three days after brand new baby lambs were born! We attended our granddaughter's birthday party today at Enchanted Farms. David, owner and our tour guide, was so good with both the parents and the 20 or so 7 year olds and their younger siblings. He taught them about the animals and how to be safe around them. It was cold out but they have a huge covered area so we were all able to be out of the rain when the weather changed. My daughter did a half day, week long camp and loved it. The kids participated in feeding the animals while learning how to safely interact with them. They also did a fun craft every day. If you are looking for an awesome interactive experience with farm animals, look no further. You have to buy tickets ahead of time, and the cost is really minimal compared to what you are able to do. In other places I have paid double the cost just to look at the animals. So, this experience was absolutely wonderful and well worth it. There was only one other family there with us, so we had a really awesome experience. The animals are well cared for and the owner was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. This is a very chill experience with really chill animals and their even more chill humans. Their focus is alpacas, but they also have bunnies, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, donkeys, and two Anatolian Shepherds that keep them all safe. And these animals are *LOVED* you guys, treated not just humanely but with genuine affection and respect. While smooth music is played low in the background, you get to pet and feed these wonderful animals while the Alpaca Mistress (didn't get her name) shares interesting facts on the animals. It's a great opportunity to see a real working farm, something a lot of folks don't get to see nowadays. That rare thing in a complex, noisy world - a pure and simple experience that's exactly what it says it will be. This is an authentic, working farm with animals that are well cared for (and often rescued) and you're allowed (book ahead) to visit under careful supervision. No hype, nothing commercial or staged, just the tiny details of life that make it sweet - little hands stretched out to feed goats and sheep, children learning to be gentle with bunnies and ducks, and alpacas with improbably long necks, snaggle teeth and silly personalities. Nicole and her husband felt like friends (helped when Nicole noticed I'd accidentally booked too many alpaca walks and contacted me to check and offer a refund). My three year old was enraptured, as was every other child and most of the adults. Fun doesn't get more wholesome and restorative than this. read more

Enchanted Farms was a lovely place to visit as a family when you just need to cuddle baby animals for awhile. This small family-run business is accessible by limited-entry pre-booked, timed tickets. The experience is fantastic. We were offered not only to pet, but also hold and even feed all the animals - bunnies, pygmie goats, puppies, ducks, chickens, and alpacas.... The 'tour' was a great amount of structured activities and free play for the kids. For a particularly educational experience, make sure you ask about how "Gaston" was born. At $15 per person this was not an inexpensive family outing.... but definitely worthwhile for the experience my kids had here. read more

Amazing. We had the best time. I stopped in for a quick visit and was able to be accommodated. I was thankful and will be sure to pick up tickets in advance the next time. We'll be back. My little is just under 1 y.o. So I went for just something to do and to let him get used to seeing farm animals up close. This was more than I expected. We came during "alpaca days" and for $8 was able to feed and pet the female alpacas. Little did a lot of observing and I fed the alpacas a little bit. There was another section for people to pet ducks and goats but we opted for the alpaca experience only. Thankful for something to do on this sunny Saturday with my kiddo! This was the best farm/day of my life. My wife took us here for my 35th birthday and it was a dream come true. You get to pet and feed ALL THE ANIMALS: goats, dwarf goats, baby goats, lambs! Dogs! Enchanted Farms in Duvall is a great experience, not only for the kids but the adults as well. They offer small uncrowded tours that allow you to get up close, feed and pet all the animals. They have soft velveteen rabbits, geese, chickens, sheep and goats all with loads of personality. They save the best for last, which are the many beautiful tame alpacas. You are surrounded by these mystical creatures which will eat right out of your hand. The owner is a wealth of knowledge on all the animals and was extremely patient as I had a million questions about their breeding and shearing program. He answered all my questions with expertise and patience. Most definitely a worthwhile experience for this farm girl at heart.
