Staff and bartenders were super friendly, and consistently walked around making sure the place was clean. Drink prices were good, but the cost to golf was a little steep. You can pay for either 9, 18, or all 27 hoIes, and you get to choose your 9-hole stretches. I liked how they incorporated pinball, planko, pool, and ball maze into the games, instead of just got traditional putt putt course. And the directions before each hole was cool. Holes are short, so you'll knock out 18 in about 40 minutes.

Overall, a fun activity but not very impressive in terms of a unique mini gold experience. Some of the holes were fun and tricky yet some were boring and ended with the same outcome for every player. I think playing 18 holes would be repetitive by the end. The music was good and staff was friendly, so we were able to make our own fun out of it but the facilities were not all that impressive. One of the machines for one of the holes was broken as well which was disappointing, it stole our balls and happened for multiple groups in front of us as well. Cheap drinks were good though.

Be a…read morerelatively active and competitive person, laser strike really fits the mould of something really fun to do with friends that doesn't involve the usual dinner and drinks formula. At 15 minutes a round, its an action-packed adrenalin rush. And whats better is that its suitable for kids and adults, making it great option for a family day out. Very close to Sylvia Park, its an ideal location and easy to find for out-of-towners. Be sure to go for three or four rounds when you're there- 15 minutes can pass by quickly and after seeing your results against everyone else's, you may want to top your personal best! Reservations are an advantage, but the Megazone team always try to accommodate for everyone.

It was honestly the most fun I'd had in ages. Sneaking around in the dark, dodging bullets, blowing up stations, holding the fort, getting shot without feeling any pain (except humiliation, because you could've gotten away a split second ago). Unfortunately, I didn't have the foresight to wear black, and was an easy target as my white top reflected all to obviously under the neon lights! Ooops! Learn from my mistake, and take your camouflage gear!

I was like...they've just gone and completely ruined it". Read that what had been done so far was only part 1, ( high hopes that part 2 was the animals, the Hippo in particular, getting put back in their rightful and honorable places...) NUP! Part 2 is going to be a food cart. So to the owners..Was it too hard to just replace the astro turf?; fix and repaint the animals, the mushrooms, and the buildings?; plant new plants?; put up a roof? Yeah the place was showing it's age, but revitalizing something, doesnt always mean that what your revitalizing has to be completely replaced. I haven't played it, I don't want to play it, and neither has my partner, because we both think that what you have replaced the old courses with, is nothing but rubbish. You've gone ruined what were 2 already awesome courses, and the animals just added to it. ( no other course in New Zealand, had a Gorilla standing over a cave on the 18th hole ). #Disappointed R.I.P Hippo, Gorilla, Giraffe, Zebra, T.Rex, and Brontosaurus. GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!!!!

Call me legend. ha ha.. Lots of kids and families over school holidays but don't let that deter you. There is the original course with zoo animals and cool putt puts. The newer course is dinosaur inspired. The course is a little shorter without much foliage but it does have really good giant dinosaurs. Today it cost $45 for a family of four for 18 holes.

To me this park is Kiwiana at its prettiest. It's been around for more than 100 years and is now home to several historic buildings alongside its gorgeous entrance arch, fountain and flowerbeds. The Norfolk pines are majestic and I love coming here for the lighting of the Christmas Lights every year. The largest of the trees is festooned, the switch flicked and the atmosphere makes it my favourite of all Auckland's community events. There is something about the history of Onehunga and its strong Pacific population that sees the most diverse people come together for a night of family festivities that perfectly reflect this suburb's individuality. The Fencible Cottage and Blockhouse are open and the people of the 'Hunga feel the love. (If you don't know about the Fencibles, look it up - it's a fascinating and fairly obscure piece of Auckland history.) The buildings are occasionally opened up at other times by The Onehunga Historical Society and are well worth a look if you get the chance. Otherwise, just come play in the playground, relax and enjoy, it's a beautiful place.

But in fact if you dedicate an hour to this park you will find that you will have a really great time. It's a memorial park that was renamed in 1921 for the Governor General so you can get an idea of what it is like. It's like stepping back in time to the Victorian era with it's 100 year old pine trees, big old fountain, historic buildings and beautiful archways. The flat grassy areas are perfect for a picnic or to play a game of rugby with friends and family. Opposite the park are some beautiful old houses too which can make your day at Jellicoe even better if you come on the first and third Sunday of each month between 1.30 and 4pm as they are open to the public on those days.
