I recently needed to have links taken out of a metal watch band. I dropped by Enchanted Jewelers as it was nearby. The person at the counter was helping another customer and said someone would be right with me, and sure enough a woman emerged from the back immediately to ask how she could help me. I asked if they would be able to help size my watch band, and she took a look at the watch, we discussed the fit, decided how many links needed to be removed, and handed to a man in the back who took care of it immediately. I was in the store no more than 8 minutes or so. I browsed while the watch was seen to, and when they handed it back with the extra links in a small bag, it fit perfectly. The other gentleman they were attending to was buying a piece of jewelry and was having trouble with his credit card. They were kind, professional, and accommodating. The store was clean and well-lit, with jewelry for a wide array of tastes and prices. I was very pleased with the experience and will return should I need a special gift for someone. read more

Been going here for at least a decade with good service always, until now. Never made any huge purchases and recommended them many times. But at this time have been insulted by them. Quote, we aren't giving away gold Unquote. We needed to have a small cross (purchased from them) adjusted to fit a gold chain so it would fit correctly. All of a sudden an additional $60 for a small link after the gentleman said he would adjust it for us. Beware. read more

For the better part of a decade, when my wedding ring lost a piece of inlay, I'd take it to this tiny time warp jewelry repair shop in Old Town. The simple reason: cost. Dirt cheap. But at least 50% of my visits were a total waste: either the guy was too busy and turned down the work (who does this?) or he was closed during posted business hours. #OldTown. So when my most recent service request was yet again denied, I thought f#ckit, bit the bullet, and visited Enchanted Jewelers, in my backyard. The basics on the entire experience: + Locally owned and operated + Personable, friendly service + Pretty fast turnaround + Lovely repair + Much pricier than #OldTown This business also has a large selection of bling for sale, and apparently they host a barbecue in the parking lot every fall, to thank their clientele. Thursday morning, a little after 10:00 am. All six or so employees were standing behind the counter. I said I was there to buy a battery for my watch and was informed I would have to leave my watch and come back. All six or so of them and I stood there with our mouths hanging open and looking embarrassed. I said no, that wouldn't do because I had made a point to travel there to begin with. I came in with a pair of white gold hoop earrings to see if they could be made a little larger, they were a birthday gift. I have fat earlobes and they fit pretty snug and wanted to be able to wear them without any issues. A friend suggested I go to Enchant Jewelers and I did and was very glad i did. The staff is very friendly from the minute you walk in the store you're greeted and they were very helpful. The sales person I had was friendly and she listened to my needs were and she took the earrings to the jeweler to see what can be done. She asked me if I could leave them and she would call me later to let me know if there is something the jeweler would be able to do. Within a couple of hours I heard back from her with good news that they will be able to make the earrings slightly larger. The turnaround was very quick and they looked great and the fit was perfect. The stone fell out of the custom ring they made. Harris Jewelers reworked the setting to secure the stone the way it should have been made in the first place. Enchanted Jewelers put the emerald in a sonic cleaner or solution that left a whitish residue. I can't believe how incompetent they are. read more

I dropped off two identical necklaces with similar "breaks" in the chain to be repaired, 1 break each. The necklaces were ready for me in the week they were promised but when I picked up the necklaces, one was different than the other. When purchased new (not from enchanted keepers) both had 3 attached items in the chain placed specifically for the necklace to be worn correctly. Now one of the necklaces has all three items in different spots and the lengths in the chain between all the items is different. It's clear that something is very different. The lady who checked them in, agrees I dropped off two identical necklaces and picked up two different necklaces but only offered to redo the necklace if I agree to pay for the corrections. I went here after visiting three different jewelers in search for a watch band based on a recommendation from a friend. I am so excited they were able to provide this band that matched perfectly with this old fashioned watch face that was passed down from my great grandma. The service was fast and the employees were all very friendly :) I was in and out in 15 minutes including then adjusting the band to my wrist. This is a family owned jewelry store and I appreciated their due diligence when I had called up an employee before coming in to request if they even had any bands to offer. Apparently that is uncommon for a Jewelry store. I will be seeing them in the future when I am interested in shopping for my jewelry versus big brand stores. read more

I have been having Enchanted Jewelers sauter, create and fix jewelry for me since 2007. One of the most special pieces of jewelry to me is a ring that as of yesterday is beautifully fixed. In 2010 my little sister passed away and I wanted a ring the was just about us as sisters. I wanted it to be a ring with color. A ring that had her favorite color blue, my favorite color purple and her birthstone color a green. I originally found two rings from an uptown store one with a blue non real stone and one with a non real purple stone and knew I wanted them sautered together adding green stone to it. They did the work adding green emeralds to it=it came out beautiful! 5 yrs later the purple stone fell out and I finally took it in within this last month to get the stone replaced with another non real stone. They replaced the stone with a more beautiful light purple cubic zirconia which then out sparkled the original blue stone. I knew it just wasn't going to look right. I had them replace the blue stone with another one matching the same color of blue but it had to give off that sparkle. They beautifully matched the color with a blue princess cut topaz. This ring is now even more beautiful and has all fancier stones than what it originally started out with. Thank you so much for fixing my ring I love it so much! Im teary eye while I write this because it took me some time to get the time to stop in and get it fixed and haven't been able to wear it for a good year and a half. I miss my sister so much and its like shes a little closer to my heart again when I have it on. read more

I have never purchased anything from this jeweler. My review concerns an estimate I requested to replace a diamond in a ring. To be fair, maybe they do not have a lot of experience but the woman that waited on us seemed VERY knowledgeable. According to the card she gave me (Julia A. George) she is one of the owners. My wife's ring has a problem. Due to the sensitive type of setting of the diamonds on the top it is prone to loss of diamonds. The diamonds only have prongs on two sides because the other two sides are butted right up against other diamonds. Because of the design, we have lost 4 diamonds already. I normally just take the ring to the store where we purchased it (Kevin Jewelers) which is a retail store chain located in the Los Angeles area within many malls. They are full retail. Each time I had replaced the diamond before the cost was $185 to $200. I have the receipts to prove this. We are not near the store where we purchased the ring. We are visiting family in New Mexico. We stopped into Enchanted Jewelers for an estimate to replace the diamond just like we had done 4 other times for $185 to $200 each time at Kevins. This time at "Enchanted Jewelers" Julia told me that the cost to replace the diamond would be $1000. She told me that the cost of the diamond alone is $1000. The ring has about 22 identical diamonds in it. This means the ring is worth $22000 plus the setting for the sum of all parts of the ring based on Julia's diamond estimate. It is funny because I only paid $3200 for the ring at a retail chain. So, I should have offered to sell Enchanted the ring for lets say half of its value for about $11,000. Do you think they would have accepted my offer? Maybe they do great work but I would shop around before just saying YES to a repair or the purchase of anything from Enchanted if I were you. As for me, I will NEVER step foot into this ripoff establishment ever again. They tried to charge me $600 over full retail plus labor. What a crook Julia is, and she is one of the owners. Julia was very nice and friendly so I almost did not write this review but after steaming about the estimate all day I felt it was my duty to warn others of the possibility of being overcharged by Enchanted Jewelers. Update. I took the ring back to Kevin Jewelers and it is not under warranty but they put a new diamond in for free. According to enchanted jewelers the diamond and work for that job is over a thousand dollars. I hope these crooks go out of business, they have no business being in business! read more

A+++++From the beginning that I walked through the door...I wanted a custom designed band and my husband and I had gone to several jewelers around town as he was having this wedding band custom made for me for our 20 year anniversary...I am a bit of a perfectionist and they said we can handle it. Not only did they take the time to perfect my wedding band it was absolutely gorgeous!! I lost my engagement ring after not even having it for a month. Long story short, some angel returned it to me after it had been sitting in the parking lot at my job for over 2 weeks. He suggested I try this jewelry shop and since I already owed this man so much, I decided to take his advice. When I took the ring to them, it was in pretty rough shape. It had been bent (from being run over several times), it was missing several diamonds, and it no longer fit my finger. One of the owners, her name is Julia, listened to my story about how I lost my fiance's family heirloom and told me that although she couldn't guarantee it, she'd seen "miracles performed before". I left feeling hopeful but unsure if they'd be able to pull it off because of the severe damage. The next day, a Saturday, at noon, Connie called me to tell met that my ring was not only fixed, but ready to pick up! I was in disbelief and drove down there to see the finished product. Sure enough, it was repaired and looked amazing. The jewelry technician worked on it for hours to restore it for me. I can't say enough good about this place. Needless to say, I will be using them from now on for all of my jewelry needs. Also, I recommend that anyone reading this goes there because the service is wonderful, the staff is friendly and they do an unbelievable job at exceeding customers expectations. The only downfall is that this place is located on the other side of town and hidden in a shopping plaza. I was able to find it quick, and it's definitely worth taking the time to locate. read more

My journey began with Enchanted Jewelers in 2002. I was newly divorced and wanted a new ring to start my new life. I walked into the shop feeling very low. I was treated with such kindness that even had I not bought a thing I would have been uplifted. I did buy a ring by the way. Since that time they have done jewelry repairs for me and have also created the most beautiful pieces of jewelry you can imagine. When my mother passed away Robert recreated my engagement ring to incorporate my mother's engagement ring. My neice helped care for my mother in her last days so I wanted her to have something of my mothers. Robert created a beautiful diamond ring for her using the gold and diamonds from a piece of jewelry that belonged to my mother. She wears her ring everyday. He created a sapphire bracelet for me using a ring that my mother left me. The last piece he made was my diamond bangle. After years of replacing diamonds in my tennis bracelet he took the diamonds and gold and added to it and made me the most spectacular, indestructible bangle bracelet. The idea first came from seeing his wife Julia's bracelet. I always love to see the jewelry Robert creates for his wife. She has great taste and has the right guy to make her visions a reality. I had done business with Enchanted Jewelers several times over the last few years as they were close to my old office and convenient for repairs. I had always been happy with their service and attention to detail. However, a year ago, when my now husband went to purchase my engagement ring, he went to Ben Bridge. What a mistake! After numerous issues with Ben Bridge's "out of house" jeweler, and 7 weeks of my ring being in their possesion for repairs, I decided I had enough. I took it to Enchanted (we had avoided taking it anywhere else before since it would void our warranty with Ben Bridge). What a relief to have a conversation with the actual jeweler who would work on my ring! I met with Louis, who is also one of the owners, and explained all the issues we had had, as well as the ones we were currently having, and he said he could help me. Not only did he get my ring back to me a day earlier than he had originally quoted, but he did a FABULOUS JOB! After all the disapointment and frustration with Ben Bridge, I finally had my ring back and it was PERFECT!. Louis fixed all the mistakes they had made and did it in such a short time. I almost cried when they handed it back to me. I showed my husband my ring later that night after getting it back, and he was impressed. We will now be taking the ring to Enchanted Jewelers and foregoing Ben Bridge and their warranty. I HIGHLY recommend this jeweler.
