I reserved the whole place for our group which made it even nicer. On top of bringing our own snacks, we had food delivered to us from the pizza restaurant in Old Town. Then, while we waited for our candles to set, we went down and had ice cream. It was a fun and easy way to have a party. Everyone we interacted with from the Enchanted Wik was really nice and helpful. The thing that was the hardest was choosing the scents we wanted for our candles! There were soooo many choices! Plus, we were encouraged to mix and match scents to our liking! That made it even more interesting as we all liked checking out the combinations that the rest of our party came up with! My scents were lemon, two types of evergreen, and oud wood. Love how it turned out. The only improvement I'd suggest is to be more flexible with the minimum number of candles needed to book a party. We were a party of 8, but needed to make a minimum of 10 candles. It was an awkward position to be placed in. How could we fairly choose which two people could make the extra candles? It would have been easier to have a minimum price since I could have just told everyone to make the larger candles to meet the minimum price requirement. If I was still under, I could have purchased some other items in the store.

Hurst has been around the block, including a long stint in Washington state where she worked as a financial advisor. She'll tell you, if you ask, about some of the women she connected to, desperate to escape domestic abuse, but unable to speak or act due to threat of financial ruin. In this era of #MeToo, it's important to recognize that, for many women, probably the majority of the victimized, the risk of coming forward is far, far too real. The threat of poverty, particularly in the poorest state of the union, is literally life or death. So that's where she's hoping to make a difference, and her soaps and body products are the salve. As it happens, her products are terrific; she's all about softening, soothing, giving your body that buttah, baby. One or two drops of her body butter had my hands rejoicing all day. Delightful bath bombs. Terrific local art from, yeah, a pretty powerful woman. All in a space about the size of a big walk-in closet, hand-crafted and easy to warm up to, much like Maaike herself. The very first time I spoke with this woman I enjoyed her, and you'll enjoy spending a little more for better products that support a critical cause.

Where the Crackin' Crab is. They offer a wide variety of bath bombs, salts, soaps, soaks, shampoo bars, candles, kids bath bombs & soaks, also saw someT men's items there as well. Shaving soap, shaving oil, aftershave, beard oil and many more. They were showcasing the brand, Dr. Squatch and Suavecito. Which is what I was in the store to buy. Purchased some Sauvecito pomade and a bath bomb for men. Customer service was great. I'm sure I'll be back to purchase from them again.

He wanted a blue heart (a blue bath bomb shaped like a heart), a purple one (purple bubble baths), and the make-your-own bath salts.
