Jason Wolfel sold me a receiver, I explained to him my new studio set up and showed him the plans. I needed a receiver to play 6 of the speakers I purchased from him, he sold me a surround sound system. When I called they could have switched it for the correct receiver. He just wanted to make money. After I got the system set up I had to buy a 175.00 piece of equipment to use this. This is the only thing they could do for me. Absolutely awful company. I spent several thousand dollars on brand new kitchen appliances (microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and range). Had a minor issue with the dishwasher just over a year from the purchase date and they passed the buck to the manufacturer, and took no responsibility. I also purchased two beds, shortly before the holidays as I had family in town. They repeatedly delayed delivery so I was left sleeping on an air mattress. I would have expected more from a company based on the large items I purchased, but nothing. We remodeled our home starting in Nov. 2020 and our contractor purchased the Monogram line from GE for our kitchen appliances from Baillio's. Because of the various circumstances from Covid-19 to the low availability of workers and every other excuse the appliances were not installed until later in Dec 2021 and some into Jan. of 2022. We purchased a range, hood, refrigerator, double oven with the ADVANTIUM microwave/convection oven (the star of the show), dishwasher, and wine cooler (well over $17,000 in costs). We had issues from the start with every appliance except the wine cooler. Baillio's used an unrecognized service org to Monogram to fix the issues. We learned this today from the Monogram people. The oven in question has been out of service (DEAD) for months. The parts are supposedly on back order to be received maybe by the end of this year. Baillio's passes the blame to Monogram. Monogram passes the buck to the company they recognize who will now be completely new to the game. I have been told completely different information about why they can't perform or make things right by all involved. Monogram passed it on to their area marketing rep that if an authorization was made to replace the appliance they would jump in the game and we'd get a working oven. When I spoke to Baillio's about this the first manager that I had talked with was gone (same morning within an hour) and I was passed on to another manager who refused to contact or give me the contact info for the Monogram marketing agent. Our conversation was the least pleasant one I have had in well over a year (I hope they recorded it for their "Training Program".) We needed a new gas stove for our Santa Fe apartment. Found one at H..e D...t (that huge big box) and had a NIGHTMARE experience with them: Botched delivery time, confusion about the hookup, refusal to take the old unit away (as already paid for), phone calls not returned, etc. etc. The real home-owner's nightmare. Then I remembered that in the past we'd used the Santa Fe Baillo's--now gone--so on a hunch I called the Albuquerque Baillo's and they were GREAT! Got a deal on a good stove (and a warranty!) and everything went smoothly--They called us right on time for the delivery, showed up on time, did the hookup without a hitch, hauled off the old unit, etc. Baillo's provided the kind of customer service that USED to be the norm in retail businesses, and at the same overall price as the big box. Was happy to do business with someone other than the big box stores, until I had a problem, and they have been absolutely not help. My refrigerator delivered in December of 2022, started having functional problems, in February of 2023 - less than 2 months old. They ordered parts in February, that were not delivered until late May. Meanwhile the unit completely quit in April. Parts installed late May did not fix the refrigerator and more parts were ordered, originally scheduled for June delivery that was not met. Now told parts will not arrive until August. Baillios has done nothing with the manufacturer or the service company to expedite or mitigate the problem. Now will not take a phone call or respond to messages. My gas clothes dryer is going out. I wanted to "LOOK" at what Baillo has. My family started buying from Baillos in the 1980s. I called Baillos to see if I could find a page with gas dryers on it. I've been buying appliances from Baillio's for probably 20 years. This summer I purchased a $3400 refrigerator. The installer scratched the tile floors in the kitchen due to not using the retractable wheels that are built into the refrigerator. He instead skidded it across the floor with the feet. I have been trying to get Baillio's to act on my complaint, but after two months they are still a no show. Their representative misses appointments and does not call or leave messages. Bought expensive high end GE washer dryer set here 2.5 years ago and was told in the sale, an extended warranty was going to be included. A warranty line appears on the invoice as "ASA 10yr Limited Warranty", so felt comfortable the appliances were covered; should have asked sales more questions... All that line was, is the manufactures 1 year parts and labor and 10 year major component - the motor only; so no extended warranty at all covering the recent failure of the 4 drum support rollers in the dryer and yesterday the main control board of the washer. Bad enough GE claims they won't help, but so does Baillio's. Make sure what you are being sold. Oh and, all the reviews for the product are downloaded from the GE site, with 5 stars while off the GE site, they are far less. read more

I moved to ABQ in the spring and heard Baillios was a good place. I bought a washer, dryer, and fridge from them. Salesman was courteous and seemed knowledgable. That's where the good service ended. 1. Delivery guys were brainless. Wanted to use my tools. Dented my fridge. Left dirty black marks on washer and my walls. So bad it was comical. 2. Dryer stopped working after 1 week. Baillios guy told me it was my outlet so I paid $125 for an electrician. The electrician told me my outlet was fine and that the Baillios guy had not tested the outlet properly or with the proper equipment. So, called Baillios again. They brought me another dryer. 3. Fridge started tipping, out of the blue, for some unknown reason. Had to call and have them come fix it. 4. Fridge started making machine gun noises. I called on a Sat. and was told the repair guys don't work on Sat., but that I could leave them a message on their voicemail. I left a detailed message, along with my name and phone number, and expected a call from them the following Monday. No call Mon., Tue., or Wed. I called back Thursday. They gave me no explanation for why they didn't get back to me. I made an appt. for a tech to come 7 days later, (the earliest they had) between 9 and 12. At 11:45 no one had called and no one had come, so again I called Baillios. (They should be paying my phone bill) Seems the tech thought I had cancelled. (These guys are the worst.) Anyway, I was told someone would come shortly. It's an hour later, and I'm still waiting. But it is giving me lots of time to finally warn people about Baillios. I am so sorry I purchased appliances from them. I will never buy from them again because their delivery people are a nightmare and their repair department is mismanaged, disorganized, and cares nothing for the customers. bought a Sony Tv from them which came with a 60 day guarantee price protection; if I see it on sale in the next 60 days, all I got to do is call up and get the difference refunded to my card. Well about 4 weeks later it went on sale with another $101 off. When I called to get my refund, they tried to hold against me $80 off on the warranty "as an insentive to buy now and only refund me $18 and change, which is a complete fraudulence from the the original agreement. It is now on dispute with my credit card company for the sale price difference plus a refund for a warranty I will never be able to use. An in house warranty comes with the integrity of the company and obviously this company has none. They don't realize it but they cut their own throat in this transaction because I was ready to go back there and buy a Marantz 7013 later this month; now I go else where. read more

The all in one store from home entertainment to home appliances they have at it all. Some of their items are a bit more expensive than their competitors, mainly the home entertainment section. The TVs are beautiful sharp and crisp but if your expecting to pay less than $400 for one this isn't place. They do acknowledge if you find the same product at their competitors they try to beat it or match it. The staff is very friendly but I felt like I walked into a car dealership as in every section I walked by I was bombarded by a salesmen asking me if I needed help finding anything. The first couple times I didn't mind and told them I was good just looking around. After that it irritated me a bit and I started feeling like a pile of fresh meat being surrounded by vultures. I mainly went in to see the washer dryers but I wanted to see the other products they offer and get a better idea of what they carry. I spoke with another salesman asking where they carried the all in one washer dryer combos and because I'd originally looked online and gotten a quote they found the gentleman who drew up the quote and he came and took care of me. That gentleman was Andy. He was about the only guy I didn't feel pushed to buy with. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He knows his stuff and went above and beyond to make sure I knew what to expect out the washer/dryer combo I ended up getting. He made sure I had the best price and had everything I need. Great guy! I went to Baillio's and was approached by a really nice guy name Bradley. I asked him a lot of questions and he was friendly and kindly answered every one with professionalism and understanding for my needs. He was the best salesman I believe I have ever encountered at an appliance store! He never tried to pressure me into a million dollar frig. He just followed my conversation and needs and got me the exact refrigerator that works perfectly with my home and my family! I think I'll go back and buy a stove and a washer from him. This is an excellent local business. When I first moved to Albuquerque I didn't know the area at all. My new house needed all new kitchen and laundry appliances. I went to a big box store and had a hard time finding a sales person, and then was offered full retail price for everything. The big box store sales staff did not seem very knowledgeable and we were frequently interrupted. I stopped in Baillio's and was immediately greeted. I was directed to salesman Jimmy on the appliance floor, who gave me his full attention until we were done. He put together a great deal on stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, chest freezer, washer and dryer that was almost $2000 less than the big box store. I usually reserve reviews for exceptionally good experiences, but I just had such a bad experience at Baillos that I guess I feel the need to share it. The clerk was very rude and, as a person with a disability who was having trouble moving today, treated me as a second class citizen by making me walk across the store to get a filter and then making the transaction take as long as possible so I needed to stand there. If you've never had an injury and intense pain in your legs, this won't resonate with you, and, like the clerk, perhaps you'll think someone like me is lazy. I assure you it takes so much energy to run these errands you wouldn't believe it if you've never dealt with long-term chronic pain. We'll find another source for our electronics, filters, appliances, etc. It's a shame because we like to buy local. UPDATE: Thanks for the response. I would give them less . Went in yesterday (Sunday at 2:30 ready to spend . Greeted by 3/4 very friendly employees they said hi and complemented my mask ... in the store shopping for new washer and dryer with my son and his girlfriend. Steven ( white older salesman) immediately flocked to us not staying "6 feet social distance " as a matter of fact he was in our personal space that's how bad he seemed to want the sale ... Found 2 sets we liked ge and Samsung . We waited for Steve (white older salesman) to price it out maybe 6 customers in the show room . Random person came up to me no id he worked thier looked like a bum or maybe a customer said you need to cover your nose . Me and my family walked away from this random person who walked in my personal space mind you not 6 feet away no way to know who this weirdo was did not even greet us and introduce himself as even a manger . Went towards the fridges still waiting on Steve (white old sales person ) where no one was hence why we went that way so the random weirdo won't have a reason to come near us. Finally Steve (white old salesman)came to us " ready to talk prices ,out of no where with no reasons to curse at me and my family as customers said and I quote "befor I give you the price you have to cover your nose ", mind you I walked in that way 3/4 employees saw and greeted Steve (old white salesman) no one said nothing . So a valid reason a medical reason !!! Steve (old whit salesman) said and I quote mind you I never cursed or was rude to him "get the fuck out of here " now using his body getting in my personal space not minding the 6 foot rule ..... as per say to push me and my family out . Lo and behold the manger is the man who approached me with out a name tag and no signs he worked thier and looked like a bum an honest bum that begs for money on the street . I was like you let your employees talk to customers like this his response verbatim was " your offended with what you have on your mask" ..... first off as I said from the beginning I was wearing a mask mind you the whole time even thru this ordeal .so what ever anyone's mask has on it should not matter and is not an ok for employees to be abusive to the customer and if my husband was with me I would have never been treated like this . These men not only disrespected a mom in front of her family but they were disrespectful to a woman with health problems and more then violated the law by being in my person space and coming with in inches of my body . So not only did I leave but I asked for the district mangers information from the staff that greeted me and apologized trying to give me the information to report these bad seeds. In doing so the "manger" who was not wearing a name tag and you could or identify as a manger or even an employee was like we said get the fuck out . I was in shock had my family not been with me it would been a different out come but I was concern for my son who's a vet from the military going postal on these two men who were disrespectful and disgusting behavior would of trigger my son post traumatic stress. So if this is how your employees and manger behave in none stressful moments they defiantly would not be able to talk to an irate customer. This place definitely has some great price but the customer service is more then the worst the company need to retrain and possibly demote or terminate employees like this . Not only were they disrespectful to a customer and to a military person. But they made you loose a great sale and some good customers . I am telling all my friends and family extended and all not to ever go to this store due to these two men . I will also make it a point to let all military family and anyone else know this disrespect I received here !!!! They want to talk about laws and the coronavirus let's talk about that no hand sanitizer coming in the store or anywhere in The store . Got a dishwasher. Knowledgeable salesman Dan Scharton and super friendly. I was in a jam and needed a delivery the next day before company. Baillio's had the dishwasher I wanted in stock and delivered the very next day first thing in the morning. Couldn't ask for better service! The installation serviceman was also friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. His partner who also rolled in the unit did not bump any corners or damage the dishwasher at all (which I have had happen in the past with a totally different company). Price was good. Although they have made their scratch & dent section a lot smaller, they still have some great deals in this category. My most recent purchase was an ipod component for my car stereo. The install team did an amazing job and when the unit started to act up they went back in right away and fixed the problem. When I came in a 2nd time with a problem they pulled the unit and put in a new one all without breaking a sweat on my part. It may be gossip but I think they recently sold the family business to a larger corporation. If so I hope things (prices especially) don't change too much! read more

This is a great local business to support. Somehow, this local business is able have comparable prices like the massive chain stores. I have purchased several appliances from them, and a few televisions. I always leave feeling like I received a good deal. I used the west side location recently because it is closer to my house. There is a good selection of merchandise and the staff has a good working knowledge of all the products. They also offer an extended protection plan (for a fee) that protects the products for several addition years. If you need large appliances or a new TV, I recommend Baillios Electronics. read more

Buyer beware - when my appliances were delivered they took my stove with ALL IF MY CAST IRON STILL IN IT. I called and was literally told that was my problem. I wouldn't have left a negative review about this until I realized that when they left the refrigerator at my request they TOOK THE ENTIRE ICE BUCKET AND ALL OF THE PARTS. Why would they do that?? It would cost over $100 to replace the parts so we have a useless refrigerator that could have been reused. They had no reason whatsoever to take the ice bucket - I honestly feel robbed. We thought we were doing the right thing by buying local but we will NEVER buy from Baillios again nor will anyone in our family and we are spreading the word. The sales person I got was a little inexperienced, but what he lacked in experience he made up for in service. They accommodated all my remodeling schedules. Delivery day finally came, my issues not theirs, and the young men that made the delivery were great. They were very careful with my doors, floors, and cabinets. Just bought an entire home theater system (large screen TV, six speakers, and receiver). Chris from sales was extremely knowledgable and patient. He worked w/in our budget ($4,500) and the cost was equal to the best prices on the internet. Jodi came in a few days and spent hours installing the whole system (TV setting, speaker wiring & placement, programming remote). He was awesome. Found out that my fridge compressor was going out in a rental condo that I own, so I had to look for a new one that could be delivered within a day. I went to Lowe's and found something that would work. There were two sales persons working with a couple, and unfortunately, even though I had someone called over the loudspeaker, no one came to help. So I left. I also went to Appliance Liquidators, but the place was so hot on a hot day, and it made shopping and decision making that much harder. So I left there too. I called Baillio's to see what they had in stock, giving them the dimensions, style, and color. They ran a check over the computer and assured me, there were plenty of options. I went in, and after looking around by myself, was assisted by Jonathan. He came with a measuring tape, and measured all the refrigerators for me, telling me of the differences between the models. They didn't have the one I asked about in stock, so he went back to the computer for search for one like it. He found one at their partner store, Builder's Source, that would work for me. Even though they didn't have it on the floor, I decided to go for it since he promised it could be delivered the next day. Ironically, I had gone to Builder's Source the day before, and turned around as my impression was that it only had very very high end stuff. I wasn't looking for high end, just a basic fridge! At the end of a long day, I received my refrigerator, and the delivery crew consisting of Manuel and Shane was professional and knew what they were doing. They picked up my old fridge (I opted not to go for the PNM rebate program because I'm leaving town next week), and installed the new one. I'm now the owner of a brand new Maytag! Baillio's did a very good job at not overselling me with a fridge that was beyond what I needed, finding me a model in stock, and arranging it for it to be delivered the next day. The only suggestion I would have is that maybe they could write something up to enclose with the sales receipt telling the customers to store all their perishables in dry ice, because it will take awhile for the new fridge to cool down. This would have helped me prepare a bit better for the factory recommended 24 hour cool down period (especially after being in a hot truck all day!) Otherwise, Great service. read more
