This attraction does not always open as the park opens so make sure you check the Disney app to see when the first show starts. The lines for this get pretty long. Try to be there for the ver first show as there's usually less people and you'll get to take better pictures. Before the attraction you go into Belle and Maurice's house and if it is too full the pics don't really come out. The attraction consist of the guest acting out the story of Beauty and the Beast. If you're an adult, volunteer to be the soldier (male or female, doesn't matter), if you have kids be sure to have them volunteer for a part.... And even if all the parts are giver away, ask if they can be extras, which means anything (eg forks, etc)... why is this important? Because at the end you can take a picture with Belle (that's one less line to make to meet a princess ;) You're welcome. Haha. And yes, she takes a picture with the soldiers too). read more

This character meet-and-greet allows you to be part of the show whether you are big or small! I loved seeing my daughters' smile grow as they were assigned parts of Belle's entourage. It was creative, interactive, and of course, oh-so-cute. Afterwards you were able to take group photos. The wait can be pretty long but it's in the shade and once you are in the cottage you get a chance to explore Maurice's workshop...and in true Disney fashion they filled the entire cottage floor to ceiling with little surprises to see. read more

Out of all the character meet and greets, this is by far the best one. It is very interactive, has a lot of exposure with Belle, and is entertaining for adults and kids alike. You are first brought to Maurice's workshop as a crew member begins storytelling. The wall then transforms into a mirror and opens up as a portal into the next room. You get to meet the enchanted wardrobe, and several participants are chosen to be part of the reenactment. You grab your corresponding prop from her dresser drawers and practice your role prior to the next room. Our daughters got to be Mrs. Potts and Chip! In the final room, everyone spectating sat on some benches while the participants stood at the front waiting for their prompts. Lumiere was animated above the mantle, continuing to tell the story. When he introduced Belle, she came into the room. Most everyone got a chance to dance with her and the participants all got some personalized time with photo ops prior to her exiting. Overall, I loved how immersive the magical experience was. My children were delighted to be part of her story. And we never felt rushed or overcrowded either. This was a fun adventure in Magic Kingdom. I have been to Disney twice, on both visits, I ventured here. This attraction has a wonderful visual, allows all to participate, and is entertainment throughout. I would definitely recommend if you're attending Cinderella's Royal Table or Be Our Guest. Belle tells her love story becoming acquainted with the beasts. It moves at a fast pace, and most importantly, involves the kids and a few adults to participate. The kids seem to love this attraction and it was fun for me, too. FYI-- after I was departing, I overheard tell some of the next crew that in order for the story to take place, they must have a minimum of 20 people. This experience has amazing visuals and special effects. They do make sure everyone has a part that wants one, and everyone that gets a part receives a bookmark and has a chance to pose for pictures. No autographs though. You'll need to go to Epcot for that. The one thing that bothered me is how formal Belle is. Not a criticism of the performer. Disney parks have pretty rigid guidelines I'm sure she was following. It's just that their interpretation of the character felt pretty far off the mark. She seems less like Belle, and more like the kind of debutante Belle would have a hard time relating to. I'm curious if the Epcot incarnation feels more natural to coincide with her less formal attire. Worth a visit for kids, but I wish they would let Belle loosen up a little. read more

I was seriously geeking out the entire time (up until the play, but we'll get to that). The line wraps around the outside of Belle and Maurice's cottage. It's cute but the inside is just amazing! There are open books everywhere (Belle could sure use one of her bookmarks she passes out at the end!) my favorite, squee-worthy detail is the picture of young Belle reading with her mother. It's just so cool!! You go into a room with the magic mirror and ask to go back to the day Belle and Beast fall in love. The mirror glows, expands, shows images from the movie, and eventually opens into another room with the Wardrobe in it. Then we find out we are going to perform a surprise play for Belle before she goes to dinner with Beast. I wish they had them act out another scene from the movie or even an extra we have never seen or even a brand new thing. In my opinion, how Belle and Beast met isn't something romantic to be acted out to remind her of how much she loves him. If anything, I would love to see Beast apologize profusely for that. Because at the end of the day, it seems like we are teaching our kids that it's ok to imprison people as long as we all fall in love later. #creepy Btw, this is not a meet and greet. The children actors get a picture with Belle and a signed bookmark (which you can also ask the worker for as you leave) but not everyone will be getting a picture with her, so please don't come in expecting that. They will however try to make sure every kid gets a part who wants one (if a kid doesn't they won't force it). Anyway, the kids get to practice and we go into another room (with comfy benches to sit on, at last) which turns out to be the library. Lumiere's animatronic is there and it's fantastic. I love how well-done he is. The play is done, pictures (without flash) are taken, and Belle goes off to her fateful dinner with Beast. It's really cute but this ride would not be worth waiting a long time for unless you had small children with you or you were a crazy huge fan. I had no idea what this was but when you've got time to kill before a dinner at Be Our Guest why not check it out? This is a cute, walk through attraction that the kids will enjoy where you interact with characters from Beauty and the Beast. There are two sections that they herd you into before you finally end up inside a grand room of the beast's castle. I'm all about practical effects in theme park attractions and I really liked how they were implemented here. There's a talking dresser and Lumière the candlestick that are brought to life with projections and animatronics. In the final room Belle comes and out interacts with the people that were chosen to participate in the little show the guests put on for her. While there is a photopass photographer in the room the only people that get photos with Belle are the people that were selected to take part in the show, which I found odd. This was a nice diversion from the sweltering heat outside. I probably wouldn't do it again but I don't regret doing it. read more

This was my kids favorite character meet and greet. It was also much more complex and interactive than the typical "Hi, how are you" you get with Cinderella and Rapunzel. In Enchanted Tales, the kids get to immerse themselves in Belle's world and take part in a cute little performance. It was very well done, complete with group participation, singing, a few laughs, and plenty of photo ops. And true to Disney, the effects were pretty good, from the talking candle to the magical mirror. Very nice touch for little ones. Fun little attraction. I give it 4 stars. read more

If you have younger children, particularly girls, this is a must see. The show begins in a large room where a cast member hands out assignments. This was an interactive show and children were given roles to perform. Younger children were picked first, but they seemed to accommodate anyone who wanted to participate, and even some who did not. Once all of the roles were assigned we were ushered into the next room. An animatronic candle narrated the show and then all were amazed when Belle walked into the room. She interacted with each of the kids and led them on a parade around the room. To be honest, I have no clue what the story was, or how long it took. All I can remember is the look of absolute joy on my children when that princess walked into the room. After the show ended, Belle took an individual photo with each of the kids and handed out a certificate of thanks to all the participants. Enchanted Tales is one of the newest attractions in the revamped Fantasyland area of the Magic Kingdom and a complete mob scene from park open to close while we were there. It was our first stop on our first day in the MK and even though we went immediately upon park open, we still had a solid 30 min wait to get into the first waiting cabin. The attention to detail was strong from the minute you get into the cabin until you leave. The animatronics are top notch with flexible mouths and and great sound production and fascinated me more than the hokey interactive show with the Belle actress. The show is driven towards kids (obviously) and I don't think it offers much to the adults in the audience. If you can get in with a short wait, I say go for it but if you're there without kids and the wait is lengthy I'd give it a pass. read more

Truly Enchanted Interaction Attraction Party time for Belle! About a dozen people will get a role, with the most important roles going to young children, especially girls. Everyone's experience will be based on how into their roles the children are. In my situation the children truly enjoyed their roles and made the experience extra special. The animatronics almost stole the show (Wardrobe & Lumiere). Disney knows how to make everything look so realistic with their animatronics, it never ceased to amaze me. The show is meant more for parents with kids than adult only groups, but it is enjoyable nonetheless. If you think you can get out of being cast by not volunteering yourself or looking grumpy, think again! People who looked the grumpiest got roles that either fit them perfectly or completely opposite. In our situation a jokerstery, grumpy teenager got to play the role of the wardrobe. I think the personalities matched perfectly... Both Belle and the staff did an excellent job to accommodate everyone and their needs. This attraction is a MUST VISIT! I only waited maybe 15 minutes in line.The audience is assigned parts to reenact how Belle and the Beast fell in love. It was so cute how the children volunteered to play as the teapot, plates, or even the beast. And of course the show needed suits of armor to stand tall, so I was picked thanks to the cast member. I was told to just stand still next to Belle and shout certain phrases at different moments of the show. It was cool to get that final photo with her at the end too. Where they herd you into a room, put on a skit and then you move to the next room. You start in Belle and Maurice's cottage then end up in the Beast's castle. This is an amazing ride for children, especially little girls who love the princesses. FYI - There is forced audience participation. So the only downside to this is the line. We were at the front of the line and we still had to wait. Hopefully, when the park is at full capacity, they will have it sorted out right. **Spoilers** The magic mirror turns into a door. It was some crazy Disney magic right in front of you eyes. In the second room, it's the wardrobe. She picks people to act out characters from Beauty and the Beast. (I was a pepper shaker). In the third room, you act out the movie with Belle herself. That's right, the princess is there and you get to take pictures with her. read more

Tremendous experience for young kids (especially girls) and their parents! Get here early. First thing in the morning if you can and avoid painfully long waits for this attraction. We did this and I am glad I did. A 90 minute wait might have tainted our experience. You start off inside Belle's father's workshop where you are brought before a magic mirror. The mirror begins to display colorful cloudy images and fogs up before your eyes and suddenly transitions into a portal which you are able to walk through. It's amazing technology but it certainly feels like magic when you witness it. From there you enter the Beasts castle where your are instructed my a spectacular animated talking wardrobe that you are here to surprise Belle with a live performance commemorating the story of here romance with the Beast. Volunteers are selected among the children and some adults to play supporting roles in the production. A brief rehearsal is conducted and then you are ushered into a living room were none other than Lumeire the animated candle. His wicks even appear to be on fire. Lumiere gives you final instructions to take your seats and calls in Belle. In comes stunning actress in princess costume and fully in character and convincingly proclaims her surprise and pleasure at your attendance. The kids then play their roles in the retelling of the Beauty and Beast story and pose for pictures with Belle. It's hard to capture the magic of this attraction in a Yelp review. The special effects are over the top. Go experience it for yourself. read more

This is our favorite attraction at Magic Kingdom right now because my son loves Belle. We get fast passes every time we go which significantly cuts down on the wait time. My son is too fearful to participate in the story (he just turned 3), but he loves giving Belle a hug at the end and getting a special bookmark from her which he proudly carries for the rest of the day. We've probably visited a dozen times this past year and the experiences vary but they're always very positive. All of the cast members that assist the kids with retelling the story are amazing. They are so patient and kind. All of the Belles are great too. Sometimes we can't hear Belle talk over the background music. We appreciate when Belle sits/lowers herself to let our son hug her instead of remaining standing and just holding his hand. It makes his heart so happy to get a hug from her. In conclusion, this is a really great attraction if your child loves Belle because they can have a special moment with her AND receive a special bookmark. We love it! read more

This interactive attraction is a mix of meet and greet with entertainment show. I really love the fact that you are mesmerized from the beginning once you go into Maurice's Cottage and enter into The Beast Castle's via the Enchanted Mirror. The oohs and aahs from everyone tells you that Disney did a great job. One thing I must say is that the crowd flow is pretty slow and it can take you quite a bit to do the experience. The amount of details in Maurice's Workshop is almost overwhelming. I had to watch the movie again and was in awe on how many details they transferred. Madame Wardrobe makes a scream of a performance getting everyone ready to help surprise Belle. love the fact that EVERYONE participates, adults and children. This is not a children only or adult only attraction. Inside its good, but not excellent. They spent so many details outside that the library looks underwhelming. This brand new Disney attraction is pretty remarkable, using new technology blended with old-style Disney charm. It is only enjoyable if you have kids that are interacting in the story...this isn't an attraction that stands alone as enjoyable for adults visiting Disney...however, the audio animatronic Madame de la Grande Bouche and Lumiere are pretty incredible in their movement. There will most likely be a long wait for this attraction, so I'd recommend heading there first thing in the morning to get a jump start. read more

A very cute addition to Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. While definitely an attraction for those with small children, I still stop by anytime I'm at Walt Disney World. While the story time itself is definitely for the little ones, I love the walk through the magic mirror into Beast's castle. This should be experienced once by everyone visiting Walt Disney World. This "show" is so cute! My daughter's favorite princess is Belle (well sometimes another one, just depending on the day lol) so we booked a fast past for Enchanted Tales With Belle. I originally thought it was just a meet and greet for pictures, but it was a lot more. They choose kids, and some willing adults, to play a part telling the story. Then you go into another room to tell the story and meet Belle. Kids who weren't given a main part were given parts in there such as being a salt or pepper shaker, etc. My daughter was scared to go up herself so she sat and watched. The kids who were participants go to stand in line to meet Belle and take a picture with her. They did allow my daughter to get in line as well even though she wasn't party of the story. After everyone gets to take a picture you are given a bookmark to view the photos later on. I still think the picture of my daughter and Belle is one of my favorites ever at the park and we have it displayed in her room. I can't wait to go back again when she isn't afraid to participate! read more

Enchanted Tales with Belle takes you, room to room, giving you a first hand experience of what its like to be in Beauty and the Beast. This rating is because I'm an adult without children. I'm giving you the heads up as its newer in the Magic Kingdom so when I came to Disney after it opened it was certainly the first place we hit after we skipped down Main Street. I did. It realize it was story time with Belle. Totally adorable for younger children, they may be chosen to play a part in her story, but if you're not with kids you'll be watching the Goldenbook version of the tale played out with stranger's children some who are just going to melt down from the stress of playing a part in the tale in from of dozens of strangers. Perhaps it is my own fault for having greater expectations of this attraction. But how could I not with one of the main focuses of the Fantasyland expansion being on Beauty & the Beast? The queue is mostly outdoors and in the sun, which means that it will be brutal during the Summer. I did not witness any fans that would be blowing coolness into the line, but they might install that as the sauna season draws near (thankfully, it's drawing far at the moment). Once the queue goes inside Belle and Maurice's home, it gets more interesting, and soon you are in a room where the show actually begins. It then moves pretty seamlessly into the Beast's castle where a few of you will be assigned roles (Chip, a Knight, Beast, etc.) and get to meet Belle. You will get a souvenir afterwards if you get picked. I think that I can only do this attraction once or twice before being completely done with it. But everyone should at least experience it once. Our Belle was unfortunately not what I imagined Belle to be, which was disappointment #1. Disappointment #2 came in the form of the attraction being far shorter than I had expected and therefore not as exciting. Disappointment #3 was the ending. I'd rather not spoil it for you, so I will only say that it was rather abrupt and awkward. So unlike Disney, in my opinion. It is apparent that they spent more time cultivating the other components of the expansion instead. read more
