City of Sunnyvale put in a nice new playground! We especially like the big circle that spins when you sit/lay on it. The rubber mat climbing tower is pretty much the same as the new one at Washington Park. It is a good and fun design that preschoolers are well as older kids can enjoy. This is a small but well maintained nice park in Sunnyvale. Convienient for many nearby apartment complexes for exercise, evening walks or just chilling out. The park has 2 tennis cours, a basketball and volleyball court and a baseball diamond. There's also kid's playgroung and small enclosed area for toddlers to play aroung. In addition there's mini open gym, barbeque pits, and tables to enjoy bbq parties. I have seen small bbq parties, gender reveal parties and small gatherings held here. Since there's huge Indian community living in nearby, you can see lots of Indian grandparents with their grandkids and moms with their kids. Around noon you can see many eating their lunches or relaxing, some bring their dogs to play around. The restroom is convenient for delivery drivers although it is just sufficient for a public park, parking is on street which is always full in the evening. When I lived nearby I used to come here daily for a nice walk as the green lawns are really beautiful to walk on. This park has everything that one can ask for in a public park. read more

This is a nice park located in Sunnyvale next to a lot of businesses and apartment complexes. When we lived around the neighborhood, we used to visit there often. Now we visit it every once in a while. This place has a nice vibe since there is a lot going around. Some people practice/play basketball, kids practice some games there, some people play tennis, and a lot of people walk through the perimeter. Some people sit on the benches and chat with their friends. There are men & women restrooms located at one end of the park. Bathrooms are really clean with all the utilities. Parking around the park sometimes could get tricky but you can use open parking spots near the apartment complexes. As of covid, everyone here follows the instructions, wears masks, and stays away from others. Restrooms have plenty of supplies so you are covered! read more

We came here because the it's right behind HP and that's where the bf works and him and his co-workers thought it'd be great to have a bbq for lunch. When he told me about it I just thought it was another park nothing great, but I was wrong. This park has almost everything. They have a tennis court, basket ball court, enough grass to set up a volley ball court, theres a base ball diamond, a playground for kids, a walk way to stroll around the park, tables and bbq pits. Good spot for delivery drivers to use a restroom, some bathroom don't even have lights on at night. Quiet and safe.

OHHHH. I like this park! Super family friendly, and also well-equipped in amenities! Parking: street parking. I didn't find a parking plaza, but street parking is plentiful. Bathrooms: situated in the little red brick housing at the very end of the grass field, it is very clean for a public space! (Go figure...) 2 tennis courts, 1 sand volleyball court, a playground for the kiddos, a huge grassy area, and a mini "gym area" with wooden planks. I didn't venture out to check out the basketball courts, but I assume it's here somewhere! Overall, really nice place with lots of trees. I would take the kids here if I had any! The best part? I was originally just going to be playing with myself, but some people having a birthday party came and asked if they could play, I had a lot of fun at the volleyball court and it is sand so diving is easy and not painful. I would probably come here again, and I got my Haikyuu moment so it was great! Would come again for sure. read more

Close to my place, has restrooms and has 2 play areas for the little ones. The kids who visit this place are not aggressive at all and generally get along quite well. For moms and dads, this means you sit back and chill in one of them benches while your little ones play with each other. The park is also fairly large which means that you could play cricket, throw ball or play volleyball. read more

I seriously had no clue that this park even existed prior to yesterday, but I'm so glad that I got to check it out! Played volleyball here with a group. They have both a sand court (not sure if you need reservations, we were just on it - no one was there) and a huge lawn that we eventually moved to. Decent park. Nice stone pic-a-nic tables set away from the ruckus of the rest of the park. Flat tennis courts that are swept regularly. The sand in the volleyball court could be a little deeper, but that's a minor complaint. There's plenty of street parking and it's in a convenient location. BTW, thanks Lawrence. My friends and I play volleyball at lunch 3-4 times a week and unofficially maintain the courts. We put up a new net toward the end of last season and fixed the crank. read more

I work by here and have come by a few times on my lunch hour to just enjoy the outdoors with some lunch. There are some cool shady grassy hills to sit on and watch the lunch time ball players. It really is rather enjoyable. Bring a blanket and just relax. read more

Nice, small enclosed area for toddlers to play and a separate playground for the other ones. The downside is the lack of shaded area for picnics for groups; close to the playground. Just held a mom playdate and we ended up in the sloped section next to the playground. Lots of wood chips on the ground. There's a nice open space if you don't care for a shade. read more

Stopped by to play sand volleyball after work with some coworkers. We played from 4-6:30 and had a great time! Unfortunately we did get scolded after the fact because apparently there are some regulars who play there every Wednesday at that time. However, there's no schedule to be found and we ended up taking over the space first. Either way, we enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend stopping by sometime. It was a busy place with tennis courts, the sand volleyball court, basketball court, and a huge field where a group was playing an organized soccer game. read more

A nice little neighborhood park. No parking lot that I'm aware of, but plenty of street parking. My 2 1/2 year old loves this park. I appreciate that the playground near the street is fenced. Lots of walkers and people playing basketball especially in the evening. read more

nice park with a sand volleyball court, basketball court, 2 tennis courts, kids' playground, and plenty of trees for some shade. the open area is wide and flat and free of bald patches and holes, perfect for setting up a grass volleyball net. my only complaint is that the women's bathroom stalls don't have doors on them, just an extended wall between the two stalls. good thing there's a lock on the bathroom door. read more

Great place for a park.the only drawback are the stupid lazy people who bring dogs onto the volleyball courts to crap...The park is well maintained ,and the people are for the most part polite.Some should read the tennis court rules and use the board instead of walking onto the courts during play!!! This was pretty clean in earlier yeras but now the dog walkers don't bother to clean after the dog. Its very disgusting to walk on the grass. But the Tennis court and Volleyball are decent. read more

Spacious park with tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. They also have free gym spots around. Lots of green space and shade even during midday. It is a much less crowded park. Although there is no parking in the park, street parking is plenty. read more

It is a beautiful park and is just a few meters from our home. There are volley ball, basket ball, tennis and base ball courts. It is just lovely to see so many people visiting and picnicking on Saturdays and Sundays. It is very safe to walk late in the night. I have seen people walking here even at 11pm- 12 am during summers. read more
