This is a nice and well maintained park. In the summer when the water spray pad is open, it's a great weekend pastime for kids. My only complaint is that the park has very little shade. Only the small slides for the younger toddlers are under a shade sail. On a very sunny day, the bigger slides and swings can get unpleasantly hot. read more

Very cute ocean-themed park with a tiny parking lot (fits 6-8 cars) and a bit of street parking nearby, not too difficult to find along Morse Avenue on a Saturday afternoon. Lots to offer, including tennis courts, basketball courts, even a volleyball net set up in the grassy field, as well as a dog playground, swing set for all ages, play structures shaped as sea animals and a ship with fun slides extending from the imaginary boat, a splash pad with several water features (perfect for hot days), and the amazing "under the sea" art piece by Arteclettica, a beautiful mosaic umbrella sculpture with bench seating. Also, a concrete trail bordering the park, a restroom, and a couple picnic areas with seating, much of it shaded by various types of trees. Such a lovely park, I have nothing but positive things to say about it. read more

I love this park during the summer! Only thing that sucks is parking lol. My daughter loves the splash pad here and the huge playgrounds. Their bathrooms are literally next to it and pretty clean for the most part. I do wish they had more shaded areas and park benches ! read more

Hooray! Looks like Seven Seas has finished resurfacing its grounds but only in the bigger kid playground area. It looks bright and new like how it did when the park first opened. Little kid area still has a few patches missing. What I love about going here is that it is a good size park with plenty to do. The downside is that parking is limited since there are only 6 spots + 2 handicap parking spots in the lot and there aren't that many street parking available since it's also a bike lane and cars get ticketed here. Weekends also gets really crowded. Here are a few things at this park: -Open Field: Good area to jog/run/walk around. Large enough field to hang out, have a picnic on a blanket, play soccer... The grass is nicely maintained. -Picnic Area: There are a few concrete tables and a bbq pit. This area is probably only big enough for one party going on at a time. Basketball Court: Half a court and often taken up on evenings and weekends. -Small play structure: Gated off so the little ones can't run off. Great area that has shaded coverings and has a small play structure and sandpit. There are plenty of benches to sit and watch the little ones. -Large play structure: Fun themed pirate ship playground. Roomy for kids to run around. Also has shaded coverings. -Splash zone: Water area to play in. Operates from April to October. -Dog Park -Tennis Court: Also often gets taken up on evenings and weekends. this is a great place to play, have a picnic, or just chill for a while.... i've been here twice, once for an adult birthday party and once to meet a friend and her daughter for a picnic and playdate. this venue was suitable for both occasions. there are many picnic table scattered throughout the park, you just have to be quick enough to snag one (or two depending on the size of your party). the play area is massive, with a couple play structures, one with a tarp over it, and a splash pad with fun structures and shooting water, great for those hot summer days. there are restrooms on site, but only 2 unisex rooms, so you'll have to wait when it's a busy day at the park. there's also a massive, large green area perfect for setting down a picnic blanket, throwing a frisbee, football or just goofing around. now, the only challenging part is the parking. the dedicated parking lot is not big, so once 8-10 cars arrived, this lot is full and you have to find parking on the street, which can also be hard since many residents also park along the street. otherwise, this is a wonderful park for children and adults alike, conveniently located just off 101 & fair oaks. read more

The best park in Sunnyvale!!! (Use my image for parking!) Nestled off of a frontage road along 101 and N Fair Oaks, is the last park you ever go to. Just understand the parking is actually behind the park. This location has everything, tennis court, basketball half court. Chess tables, dog park, toddler secured play area, huge child play structure shaped like a pirate ship, sound activity stations all around the park. Huge grass area, manicured landscaping. Then to top it all off, a water play area, next to excellent bathrooms. read more

Great little water play area for kids on a super hot day! Wish there was more parking though since it's hard to find spaces if you come a little late! The water shuts off periodically and you have to touch the little gutter spot in the middle to restart (I think). There is a tennis and basketball court too which is nice! A great local community park with shaded playgrounds for both smaller kids (age 2-5) and older kids (5+). They even have a small water park area for kids to cool down during hot summer days. On the day that I went, it was the most popular section, most kids were in their shorts and running back and forth in the water area. (Warning: no masks on) Park amenities seem pretty new and well maintained. The only complaint is there aren't enough parking spaces so be prepared to park on street and time to look for street parking, due to mostly apartment complexes nearby, it took us some time to park. read more

Clean, well maintained, good for all ages! And dog friendly too! Me and my husband often go to this park for long walks, fresh air and people watching! It's really clean and well maintained. And the open space with plenty of room allows for easy social distancing during the COVID times. There is a variety of things to do for everyone. Among the many facilities, this park has a tennis court, 1/2 basketball court, mini dog park, swing, see-saw, sand area, water area and much more for the kids. I am so glad I don't live too far from this park. I enjoy walking the circumference of the park - which is well designed for walking/running. read more

This is a medium-sized park. There is a decent size lawn area for frisbee or pick your outdoor sport. They also have tennis courts and a bball court. There is an elaborate playground which looked very popular with the number of children there. It was very busy overall when I was there in the evening. There is plenty of parking. This is great local community park! This park is clean and has a lot to offer for everyone. Would recommend to go check it out! The only down side for me is parking. Although I have been able to find parking the couple of time that I have gone. The actual parking lot is very small but there is street parking. A cute playground for the kiddos, basketball court for the teens, tennis courts for adults, etc. there are plenty of benches to sit on and there is a dog park . My favorite part was that the trail that goes around a circle is paved. Northern Sunnyvale has one of the coolest and most accessible parks in the area. Tucked in between 237, 101, Mathilda and Fair Oaks the park is easy to find and doesn't involve a lot of navigation to get to and from. The playground has separate structures for kids of all ages and offers ample spacing for those who are claustrophobic or the Covid conscious. With a name like Seven Seas, it would only be appropriate to have a pirate ship and a water feature. Keep an eye out for scavenger hunts to give the little ones a physical break and to incorporate some mental exercise. read more

Excellent park with a ton of things to entertain little ones. I've been here when it's unbearably hot, and when it's mildly cool. The latter experience was so much better, so be cautious there is little to no shade at this park and prepare accordingly. When it's hot out, it's scorching, so hopefully the water feature is on full blast to stay cool, because otherwise it's terrible. There is a great water feature with sprays, buckets and big enough for a good group of kids to enjoy together without running into each other. The pirate boat play structure is fantastic. There is a nice lawn/grass area for kick ball/picnic, and there are a good amount of bench seating along the playgrounds for the parents to keep eyes on their kiddos comfortably. Centrally located unisex bathrooms but not well maintained. Parking can be difficult as this park is so popular. read more

Sevens Seas Park is great for kids under 6, any older, would just get bord. My five year old was disappointed that was no monkey bars. I guess she is too old for this park. Park is fairly new. Here is the run down. 1. Restroom, with classic stainless toliet. 2. Water feature 3. Two play structure, one for toddlers and one for older kids. 4. There are a few tables. Only saw two bbq pit. 5. One basketball and tennis court. 6. Small parking lot with just a few spaces. Street parking fills up fast but you can find parking if you don't mind walking. 7. Dog area 8. No sand area Be sure to wear your shade, park provides no shade. Park is very colorful and provides excitement for little ones. Great park for toddlers. read more

A pretty nice park for kids to release energy. There's a water feature play area which should be nice in the summer. Lots of play structures for big and little kids. There's also a good sized grass area and picnic area. I see birthday parties all the time. The only downside is that it'll get busy with lots of big kids running around. It's not the park's fault, but this place might have been overhyped a bit. This is supposed to be a great playground for smaller kids, and it has some strengths, such as a gated toddler area with a relatively expansive climbing structure that is small enough that you can let your kid have a little bit of independence. But it also meant that either we or the kid grew bored it with it before he had fully tired himself our. Also, having a dog park directly adjacent to a playground is one of those things that seems like a great idea at first, but has a big drawback when your son is pressed up against the bars crying that he can't chase and pet the dogs, and no longer interested in going back to the boring climbing structure a few dozen yards away... read more
