The place I went to validated my parking ticket and not my mother's parking ticket. When my mother went to exit, the machine asked for a fee for my mother's ticket. . I hit the help button and explained the situation to the douche on the other line. He was rude and told me to go back to the place and get it validated. I asked him to override it and he said he couldn't. Then a security guard came over and threatened me. I'm contacting the building management first thing Monday. read more

Cutestet shopping center ever! It has a carousel in front (need to take a photo of it) that will get your attention. It is outdoors, sunny, colorful, not big, but very charming to stroll around or enjoy a meal at in plein air. It has a CPK and many ethnic food stores and restaurants. It always puts me in a good mood when I stop by or even drive by and see it since it's right on Ventura Blvd. Sure, some stores came and went here as well over the years, buy Encino Place is a staple of the area as far as I am concerned. It has its own garage, there is metered street parking as well! We need to preserve unique places like this in LA! read more

The parking management is HORRIBLE and the associate is also Horrible. I usually write only good reviews, but tonight i was very upset. I use the nail salon for as long as they have been there. And they are great! And today after my nail appointment, the massage person approached me and asked to try their services. The message was great too! I got validations from both places, but the parking attendant wanted me to pay $12 for 4.5 hours. I explained to them that the message person told me that the validation will work from both places. The parking attendant didn't want to hear out my explanation.I get it, he is inly doing his job. I told him it will be fair if i have to pay $6 dollars, but not $12. Now i will not go to this plaza , and the nail salon will lose me as a customer who comes in every 2 weeks, and no message for me at this plaza anymore. Maybe i am overacting, but they didn't want to meet me half way. This not how the business should work! You park your car yourself, it is not even a valet parking!!!!!! What kind of parking attendant makes you more stressed when they know you're already late for an appt? She had no idea what I went through to get here today, (car accident on the way) but yet refused to help me when I asked her to tell the car in front of me to move ahead a little so I can park. What does she say to me instead? "Next time get here a little faster?" Who the hell does she think she is? I'm not sure if leaving this review will do anything but it couldn't hurt. I am a teenager and I go to C2 for tutoring, which I absolutely love, however I am already paying $100 an hour for tutoring and tacking on another $3 for parking with validation is simply insane. Before they upped the price I was more okay paying it, but now it's an annoying hassle. The woman in the parking structure is absolutely horrible and disrespectful. My validation stamp at C2 reads "$2 for 2 hours" yet she constantly charged me $3. And then was rude about it. Today, I went to angry chickz and before parking in the structure, I asked the man who was working if Angry Chickz had free parking or $3 parking and he told me he wasn't sure but he wouldn't charge me. I thanked him profusely and parked my car. I picked up food, which took around 30 minutes and then went back to my car only to see the woman who usually works there. I told her that the man earlier told me he wouldn't charge me and she told me I'd still have to pay. I then told her that I wouldn't have parked there had I known I'd have to pay. She continued to argue with me and told her smiley assistant to take a picture of my car, mind I was with my pre-teen brother. He took a picture and she told me I was no longer allowed to park there. I'm fine with that, but I think that this woman's behavior should be addressed, seeing as she's running a business. I am a teenager, I have no income, and I'm not entitled to not pay, but when the man told me he wouldn't charge me I took his word. Rather, she should change the validation stamps to be more accurate so I am not paying more than I am told. If she was kinder and more respectful she wouldn't have such terrible yelp reviews. Amongst my friends and peers at C2, there is never one nice thing to say about this woman, and that speaks volumes! I am not sure what to do because Encino should not have to deal with an unhappy woman who sits in a parking garage all day. I swear I dread this plaza. I avoid parking here at all costs. I'll park further away to avoid the parking staff. They are so so so rude. They act like everyone owes them something. I end up sweating my butt off and walking with 3 little kids to go to the toy store or coffee bean or CPK. Besides being extremely rude, they change the amount they charge almost daily. One day it's $2, one day it's $6. I don't care about the money. Just have a rule and be consistent. It's not a good feeling to think you're being taken advantage of. I end up paying more at a meter or at the building next door but I don't have to deal with these guys and their attitudes. They also need to clean this place up. It used to be a fun hip place. It had chin chins, Mfredrick, color me mine etc. Now it's an eyesore with an old broken down merry go round. Sad read more

Let me preface by saying that my lack of stars is based solely on the parking service. The shopping mall itself is fine, standard mall fare with a few nice perks for kids like the carousel, great toy store and kids hair salon. However, *BEWARE* of shady business practices at the valet. Always double check your time in and out before handing over money. I was charged $3 by the parking attendant which seemed steep based on the amount of time I was there. I questioned the man who double checked the ticket and told me I arrived at 3:49 so I owe $3. I didn't check my watch right then and there but took his word for it. As I walked to my car (no valet service) I glanced at my phone. Only to see the time was now 5:08 so I walked back to check the parking rates. It's $1.50 every 20 mins after the 1st hour (with validation which I had). When I went back to the parking counter, the man I spoke with was no longer there. I told the woman who took over for him that I had been overcharged. Her first response was..."Did I help you??" I said "no, it was the young man you just took over for". I told her that my ticket said I had been there at 3:49 and it's now 5:08 so there's no way when I gave the man my ticket that I was at 20 min. She annoyedly fished my ticket out of the pile and looked at it, confirming my out time was 5:06. 4 min under the time you would be charged an additional $1.50. Did she promptly apologize for the mistake?? No, she made an excuse. "He's training". I said, "I'm not sure how you train sometime to read the time correctly, if he can't do that he probably shouldn't be working here". She then proceeded to inform me that even if you are one minute over you have to pay the higher rate. Huh?? I said "yeah, I know that. What does that have to do with the fact that your guy overcharged me? I wasn't one minute over I was 4 mins under!" Only then did she give me my money back and say a half hearted "sorry". Could this have been an honest mistake?? Maybe. But I've learned my lesson. I will always check my ticket time and my watch before handing over my ticket at this place. Imagine how many times they could easily get away with this and skim that extra money, if that is truly their intention. Regardless, the female attendants response was inappropriate and rude. Had that been me, I would have been mortified at the "mistake" not defensive or quick to lecture about the "rules". read more

That being said we are super fortunate to have Mohammed's valet service to handle the high flow of car traffic and clients. He and his staff are friendly, efficient and professional. DO NOT park your car with the valet here! Advice: If you absolutely MUST go to a business here and can't find street parking, take a 360 video of your car before they park it and right after they give it back to you. I've seen the cops here talking to the valet and a customer and I've seen a girl screaming at the valet here... this is a regular occurrence. The workers here are running around like chickens with their heads cut off & are completely careless with your car.
