The shopping mall used to have an extension called The Village at Westfield Topanga, but it was sold to Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke in 2023 and is no longer affiliated with Westfield. [Parking]: Free parking at the shopping mall with no time restrictions, but the parking lot near AMC (facing Victory Blvd) was completely packed on Saturday afternoon. It is best to park in the parking structure facing Owensmouth Ave for a better parking experience. [Retails]: This is a really nice Westfield mall that caters to all visitors. The mall has a luxury collection with brands like Burberry, Gucci, Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dior, and Celine. For those who are interested in modern collectibles, there are stores like Pop Mart, Qtoy, Sanrio, Miniso, LEGO, and Cash Cards Unlimited (a trading card store) to check out. The mall also has more practical beauty and clothing retailers such as Sephora and UNIQLO. Other anchor stores include Nordstrom, Target, and Macy's. [Topanga Social]: Westfield Topanga renovated the old Sears space into a new food hall called Topanga Social in 2023 and a new AMC Theatre in 2022. There are about 50% vacant food stalls as of July 2026, but this is also where visitors can find pop-up experiences such as The Loop (currently collaborating with Crunchyroll on a free immersive anime exhibit), JINYA Ramen Bar, Wanderlust Creamery, and Red Door Escape Room. There are TVs and tables where visitors can sit and watch sports games, but the TVs are muted. [Dining Terrace]: Dining Terrace is one of those classic food courts you would find in any mall and is located on the second level. While I was not surprised to see Panda Express, Genghis Khan BBQ Grill, and Chipotle, it was interesting to find food stalls like IJ Sushi Burrito that sells sushi burrito and poke bowl. [Other notes]: Neiman Marcus was closed earlier this year at this location due to the bankruptcy of its parent company. Cheesecake Factory and Chubby Cattle are also located at this mall. [Conclusion]: I am a big fan of this Westfield mall and can easily see myself revisiting this mall whenever I am in the San Fernando Valley area.

You have the main department stores with Macys and Nordstrom and the retailer store Target. They're all situated on either ends of the mall. I don't think Neiman Marcus is still open as they're closing stores here and there. I just came for a wander around to kill time but of course the stores calls you in. Window shopping which always lead to actual shopping. With the newer wing that houses all the higher end stores. The original food court still does pretty well but I can't say much with the Topanga social and it didn't last long. You have all your classic stores and then the higher end which this mall does offer a lot. Compared to the other Westfield, it's way bigger and better. There's plenty of parking both with covered structures as well as open lot. A good amount of restaurants surrounding as well as a movie theatre. It's your one stop shop.

Limited supply of short term paid surface parking in the front lot by the Topanga canyon Blvd. There are also a few strategically located paid Valet parking stations. Also a fun and relaxing place to just hang out and have the kids run around on the playground. Apparently the Los Angeles City Council has approved an urbanization project called Promenade 2035 to redevelop the Warner Center area (including this plaza) in Woodland Hills. [Parking]: The 1st hour = free and 1 - 1.5 hours = $2. After the 1st 90 minutes, the rate is $1 for every additional 30-minute increment with $14 daily maximum after 5+ hours. [Retails]: There aren't exactly any great anchor retailers here besides the neighboring Costco. While the Village has over 60 shops and restaurants, most of the businesses already have multiple other locations (e.g. Paper Source, Alfred Coffee, Sur La Table, REI, Eureka!, Tender Greens, etc.). [Atmosphere]: The plaza has a nice children's playground and a koi pond with certain areas spraying water mist. I will say it has a nice 1st date coffee vibe with (1) one hour of free parking, (2) Alfred Coffee, (3) modern-vibe plaza to walk around with Costco just across from Alfred Coffee, and (4) Westfield Topanga just across the street. [Conclusion]: This plaza reminds me of The Point in El Segundo but with a slightly nicer vibe. At its current stage, this plaza has nothing to write home about and the adjacent Westfield Topanga simply has more anchor retail stores worth visiting.

La La Land Cafe and the ice cream spot are our usual go-to places. Lately, the construction has taken away from the experience a bit, but I am hopeful that once it is finished, things will be even better. I just hope the updates are thoughtful and not simply focused on adding more retail, especially in place of something like the movie theater. It would be great to see additions that truly serve and reflect the community. For example, a fountain with a water show, similar to what you see at the Grove or Americana, would be a strong starting point. People and families already feel overwhelmed by the number of shops, and adding more does not necessarily improve the experience. Take Century City Mall as an example. After its remodel (many years ago) added many more stores, I personally stopped going. As someone who works in marketing, I know the first priority is getting people to visit. If visitors lose interest, as I did with Century City, then adding more shops defeats the purpose. I really hope they do not lose sight of what makes the place special. It would be a shame if short-term decisions ended up hurting the atmosphere that people enjoy.

I enjoy getting a drink occasionally from Agua Cabana on the second floor, and the perfect mall snack is an Açaí bowl from Bearies on the first floor. It's a smaller mall but it's local & always a solid place for a hang out. There is also many on site restaurants that I enjoy such as Yard House, LongHorn Steakhouse, California Pizza Kitchen & Red Robins. There is also an Escapology located here outside the mall which is great as an interactive experience. The workers I've encountered here are typically very friendly & the mall is kept very clean.

It's a smaller mall compared to others nearby which tends to have more stores. If I'm here it's for either one or two stores or to just walk around to see what there is available. This visit was for something simple that needed to be done. Which I knew that they had a certain store. Surprising it was pretty busy for a Monday. Mind you it was a holiday and kids are off of school. But to see this place pretty lively was amazing. Each visit, tends to alway be pretty mellow. The stores aren't quite the same as they used to be. Loads of the stores that once thrive have faded away. But something new would takes its place. Hopefully they'll last for some time. I did noticed that the food court does seem to have some interesting vendors. Plus there's a new Panini Cafe at the old Red Robbin's location. It's quite big which I was surprised to see walking in today. They have both an indoor patio as well an outdoor patio. The mall isn't what it used to be. The bigger chain stores have gone or either went out of business. Macys is still there which I'm quite surprised. Regardless, people are still going to be buying whether it be a new store or an old one.
