At the very least he could have contacted me, but no, he just reneged without saying a thing in order to make a quick buck before I had the chance to complete my payment (which I was ready to do but he hadn't provided any details). Overall, this is the most disturbing and disappointing outcome of any serious retail engagement I have ever experienced. I never expected such poor behaviour. I must say that due to the complete loss of trust I am now deeply doubtful about the quality of the piece. I may have had a nasty surprise if the sale and delivery had gone through.
