SITREP So at this past Saturday night's Yelp WILD WEST SHOWDOWN event at the Cordova Restaurant Casino, one of the STAR ATTRACTIONS (if not THE star attraction at this event) was the ENCORE PHOTO BOOTH! *SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP!* What fun this was getting groups of friends together to take pictures in the VERY roomy photo booth. It took FOUR (4) shots per "sitting" and it really didn't matter many times we went back to get pictures taken. SIZE MATTERS And I say this because have you ever been in mall photo booths which are crowded and cramped? That's not to say those aren't fun and that discomfort for a short period of 20 seconds is not necessarily undoable, but Encore Photo Booths had a much larger photo booth by comparison when lined up against all those "mall small frys" and major kudos to them for providing the space that made for some hiLARious picture taken! Yipes! I didn't mean to wait so long to write this review. Encore Photo Booths... what a great idea! I attended the Yelp Wild West Showdown as well and I have to say that the photo booth was the hit of the party! Everyone lined up and packed in to take silly souvenir photos. After hanging out at the event chatting for awhile I was pulled into the line for a photo. Everyone was giddy as we exchanged fake mustaches and awaited our turn. Friends and strangers piled in to take their various photos. While waiting we could watch the ones that had been taken earlier flash by on a little screen on the outside of the booth. My turn came along and it can really best be described as: "giggle giggle" *flash bulb* "Who's crashing our photo?" *flash bulb* "yeehaw!" *kapow* ... and moments later I got a photo to take home! It was just too cool! I wish there was one of these at every event I attend. read more

I'm behind on reviewing this business, but better late than never! My first "exposure" to this unique event addition was for the Yelp Wild West Showdown. Maybe I had too many free Bacardi Rum samples, but this was a great highlight of my evening. Since we were dressed in old western style clothing, using the photo booth was like we time traveled back to the ancient west, as it took black and white pictures, specially requested for that "old time" feel. Just create your own fun and it captures the moments. I loved the impressive features! For instance, you get ample time to pose the way you want before the picture is taken. You can actually see yourself first, as you primp and position your best features. Great for some of us old geezers! There must have been some kind of air brush magic going on that faded out my wrinkles, under eye circles and bags! The booth is roomy enough for several people to get in on the action. You get to take 3 photos for each session, then you get your picture a short time later. Additional prints or copies of other friend's mugs can be viewed on their website and ordered/downloaded for purchase. I recommend Encore for any party or event, especially when it's themed or you play dress up! Now, those special moments can be preserved with family and friends whenever you want. We had Encore Photo Booth and a deejay/emcee from Encore Entertainment at our company holiday party, have used them for going on several years now after switching from Entertainment Team (who we still have come do casino games). This year went with the Illumi Booth, whose round glowing enclosure went well with the different colored lighting we had in the ballroom, and fits up to 10 people at a time (8'x8'). The attendant was helpful reminding folks not to walk off with the wizard hat prop still on their head, and reprinting quickly (unlimited copies printed, or emailed). Props included, although no Christmas themed hats or signs or anything. Minimum 3 hour rental period ($895), $100 per additional hour. It is always a big hit at our party. I've also seen Encore at the Running of the Elk Event in 2015, that was a neat setup with the green screen imagery in the final photo. read more

Chris Terry and his team are amazing! I had their photobooths, uplighting and DJ services for my wedding. One Stop Shop! The group photobooth was large, fits like 15 people, came with a large screen tv that screens the pictures out for the party to see. Staff was nice and made a scrapbook for people to sign. Additionally, I got digital copies of all the individual pictures and strips. Plus, the photos print high quality and quickly. No need to wait to get your copy of the picture it prints while you're walking out!! If I needed a photobooth again I would definitely chose Encore. Also, DJ and uplighting was amazing for my "Electric Dance Wedding" theme. I wanted our wedding reception to be fun and dark like a night club but still have fun uplighting. I upgraded my uplighting to be the package where the lighting changes colors. Chris made sure to have the uplighting flash and "run" across the wall at a 20 percent lightness so that the colors showed but still kept the room overall dark so that people are not intimidated by the dance floor. The speakers he uses can be heard all around the room since he used bose! So since the dance floor was so packed people were dancing all around the room (near the popcorn bar, cake table, bar....). Also, as a real DJ...he plays mixes, just like the club! So no music playing to the very end. Basically, maintaining the dance floor to be full and we pretty much had like 5 conga lines. Also, Chris makes sure to take care of his couples. He was kind of like a wedding planner for me. I was having some drama with my venue over the timeline, and Chris took his time to make sure things would run on time. He would coordinate with my other vendors and he took the time to make sure things would get handled. There were issues that he took care of when my venue misplaced the champagne for the toast, and when meals were late and he handled it without bothering me. He made sure that the groom and I were having FUN and not being stressed when my venue dropped the ball and got sloppy!! Thanks to Chris Terry and his staff I had a fabulous wedding. It's no secret that instant gratification rules society these days. Technology has spoiled us into wanting everything now, now, now. Think about it, wouldn't you rather DVR your favorite TV shows and fast-forward through the commercials, text message rather than have a long drawn out phone conversation, email rather than send a handwritten letter via snail mail? Better yet, when was the last time you took film to the drug store to be developed? So crazy! Anyway, I'm happy to say that Encore Photo Booths gives you the superb feeling of instant gratification and so much more. I was lucky enough to play around in one of their photo booths at a Yelp event last weekend, and it was hands down the highlight of the party. The gentlemen handling the booth was playful, professional, and didn't complain when I kept going back for more (and when I say more, I mean I practically lived in that thing). There was always a line, but it went quickly because the pictures came out fast like lightening! Not only did we receive quick prints, we were also given a website to look at digital copies as well. It was so much fun reliving the moment and seeing everyone's crazy pictures of the night. Nice touch, Encore! Encore! Encore! I don't think I'll ever be satisfied with plain old fashioned photography after Encore "exposed" me to their magical photo booth. Our latest Yelp event at Cordova Casino had a lot of highlights - a horse and carriage, the Sacramento Banjo Band, free-flowing food and alcohol and beer pong - but none matched the success of Encore's booth. Chris and company created special sepia-toned prints for our crew to fit with our western theme. Their staff member was incredibly nice and easygoing, allowing everyone to have their 30-odd seconds of fame behind the black curtain. After each three-shot photo session, the free prints came out fast and pretty. We were debating who would be in charge of taking the prints home and scanning them but not to worry - each print was promptly posted online on their website. We hope to see them again at future Yelp events for a whole additional round of exposure! read more

I'd like to have one of these photo booths everywhere I go. Its like a instant party AND something to document that kick a** party with. The Wild West Yelp party had a booth set up where friends and I flocked for photo session after photo session. The quality of the photos are great, they give you enough time to strike your next silly pose AND the photos are printed instantly. Plus at the bottom of the photo they can put different designs based on the organizer, so Yelp's super symbol is on each print. I'm thinking that any time I go to/plan any event in the future, these guys need to be there! Encore was truly the star of the party! read more

These guy's might be the only reputable Photo booth rental in the Sacramento area. Not only can you chose the style of photo, you can include fun logo's and dates for that special Occasion. I got to be included for the Amgen race and 1801 L street loft party and got some amazing, amazing photos. They somehow made me and friends look amazing, but the photos are probably the only photos I'll actually have in print and not in Internet wonderland. Their prices are beyond reasonable. From day one I knew I was going to be getting amazing service with Chris Terry at Encore Entertainment. We met a couple times and communicated via email to arrange for my October 12, 2014 wedding. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I was with how everything turned out! Chris was in tune with my wedding and helped it go off without a hitch, and even when there were only 10 of us left or so, he kept the music rolling so I would have a chance to get down and boogie with my friends (since I had been so busy prior to that!) The staff at Encore Photo Booths have the best job ever! And they are exceptional at it! How cool is it to set up a booth and usher folks in and out who are in party mode? Their patient, friendly and accommodating nature made what seemed to be an endless line of people waiting to take their picture go by smoothly and swiftly at the Yelp's Wild West Showdown shindig. This photo booth was a HIT. The photos were hysterical and so cool. They had a wood-like border and the Yelp logo and Casino's name imprinted which is nice so that you don't forget, years later, where it was when you posed like a jackass. The three images on the photo were Sepia colored and about postcard size, which is nice for framing. I got married in January of this year (2011) and had to have one of the Encore Photo Booths. I had seen them at other events and had already been impressed. I shopped around, but there really is no other business that is comparable. With Encore, the picture quality is amazing and the pictures come out so fast. I loved that I got to have all the pics that were taken on a cd. We have made a fun extra wedding album just of our photo booth photos, which we hadn't been expecting. We had a black and white themed wedding and Chris helped us design an awesome picutre layout and he was able to match the font from our wedding invitations. All of our guests had so much fun taking pictures in the booth and enjoyed having something to take home (something that they would actually want!). We were so thrilled with how it all turned out. I also wanted to share that we used Encore for our wedding DJ and for some lighting at our venue. Chris was friendly, talented, and professional.
