It was a really special family afternoon and we could not have done it without this rental agency. Honestly before this summer I did not know that you could even rent a motor boat on Nantucket. Fortunately I walked by the stand and got the idea. The service was awesome. You sign up online and pick the boat you want. When we showed up they had upgraded me to a bigger better boat. Then after the first hour of the trip it was clear the engine wasn't working perfectly (but it was OK) and so I actually had the cell phone of Brandon, the guy who helped us at the dock, and he literally came out and swapped out another bigger and better boat for us! Talk about customer service! The boats are solid and sturdy but nothing fancy. Honestly people rent them every day so there's no way you could possibly get a fancy brand spanking new boat through a rental agency. But they are solid and they work and it's just a fantastic way to explore Nantucket Harbor and the surrounding beaches. Truly an amazing day and again the customer service by Brandon was absolutely 10 out of 10. He could not of been a more helpful guy.

This adventure was clearly (as advertised online and explained via telephone by Stacey when booking) as a 2 hour sail. No where did it say it was a booze cruise with drinks, snacks and music or a historical sight seeing tour with detailed narration. The people below clearly don't understand how to do research (which took me less than 5 mins)!!! It was a lovely sail on a beautiful catamaran! The captain and first mate were fun, informative and clearly very passionate about sailing! We sat on the very front to the side of the catamaran and got SOAKED which was so fun! If you like adventure and some nice salt water, sit here and bring a change of clothes to leave on the lower deck. There are plenty of lovely seat where you will not get wet, just ask the captain and first mate where to sit if you're not sure! I kept missing it, as it was a crowded Friday afternoon, but then later realized that it is exactly where it needs to be: fronting the entrance to the dock where the ferry leaves. We were able to change our departure (to go back to Hyannis) from 8:40 pm to an earlier 6:10 pm on Friday, and there was no charge since we did it before the original time elapsed...we just needed to show them our original invoice. Unlike the other Hy-line offices, there is no indoor seating, but plenty to pass the time since right in the middle of a busy tourist area. By taking the earlier return, it was a different crowd...more older and a lot less crowded. We got back to Hyannis in under an hour, and offloaded pretty easily. There were shuttles waiting in the nearby road (to avoid the heavy congestion in the pickup area), and we got the last two seats. We got dropped off at Lot 8 offsite in 10 minutes, and were on our way. Probably wouldn't recommend trying to see both islands on the same day, but it can be done via Hy-Line.

The kayak bins and all were open and it was clear someone had opened the place and left. We were there late morning through early afternoon. We even swung back by at 230 in case the person had gone to lunch. Gotta be honest: My daughter and I were on the island for two days and we spent the second day explicitly to go kayaking. The weather was calm and dry. We wasted hours of our time at a business that couldn't be bothered to answer their phone or have a person on duty. I wish I could put zero stars. Don't bother to have a business if this is how you operate. I will spread the word that everyone I know on the island should steer clear. Atrocious.

The nighttime kayak was beautiful from beginning to end. The night sky was idyllic, and being out on the water at night felt truly magical. Our guides were fantastic. They were young, enthusiastic, and brought such great energy to the experience while also sharing so much knowledge about the local marine life and birds. We all walked away having learned something new. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any better, we saw moon jellies and experienced the bioluminescence glowing in the water. If you're visiting Martha's Vineyard, don't miss this experience!
