Murray did a great job on our teen daughter's tooth which had been knocked out and reinserted.

We traveled over an hour to see her because she had the most consistently outstanding reviews everywhere we looked, along with the best credentials and technology -- and she exceeded every expectation. My mom was nervous about needing a root canal, but Dr. Storm made the entire experience feel surprisingly easy and completely painless. She explained everything so clearly and thoroughly beforehand that she answered every question on my list before I even had to ask. You can tell she is incredibly skilled, but also genuinely cares about making her patients feel safe, informed, and comfortable. The whole office was absolutely wonderful, too. Brittney at the front desk is so kind, organized, and competent, and Mindy was amazing as well. From start to finish, we felt so well taken care of -- a beautiful team. They're so responsive answering any and all questions afterward, too. I cannot recommend Dr. Storm and her team highly enough. If you need an endodontist, she is absolutely worth the drive.

Our experience with Dr. Crump at M.City Endodontics was like Carol's (who also posted a review) -…read morereally wonderful. He is very honest, nice, and very skilled. My wife was in severe pain and went to her regular dentist who said she needed a Root Canal, and recommended Dr. Crump. We got an appointment with Dr. Crump and his assistant took a 3-D Xray. My wife was in the chair waiting for the Root Canal BUT Dr. Crump reviewed the x-ray and noticed an almost invisible crack in the tooth - he was only able to see it because of the 3-D Xray, because her main dentist had done a regular Xray and didn't see it. Dr. Crump told us that a Root Canal wouldn't solve her problem and that she needed the tooth extracted. --- Think about that - he could have easily gone ahead and done the Root Canal and we would have paid for it, BUT he is honest and did what was best for my wife - he put her first. Also, he is very skilled and professional to notice the crack - you had to look close to see it. We were just charged for the cost of the 3-D Xray and a consultation, so he lost a lot of money - he had already blocked out that time slot for my wife. Even so, he was very polite about it and even gave my wife a prescription for pain medication. Also, his staff was VERY nice, helpful and friendly. I think he's Top 5% and highly recommend him.

Why? I did not WANT a root canal but I was in SO much pain from biting down on a solid peppercorn...the inflamation exploded each day to the point where I was "If he tells me I need THREE root canals I will DO IT JUST to STOP THIS PAIN!!" GUESS WHAT?? ( I say this as someone who has witnessed unethical dentists multiple times in my life...) he told me I did NOT NEED a root canal! DESPITE both my SELF and the REFERRiNG DENTIST being CONVINCED I DID! So, instead of destroying a root and paying $1,500 it only cost me $177 and 3 meds at the pharmacy. Here - everyone should save this man's name for friends. You can absolutely trust his ethics and skill set! !! There was sufficient, though not overwhelming, communication between the office and myself. I completed all paperwork well in advance of my appointment. At no time during this communication was I told that I must have someone present DURING my procedure. I was told I couldn't drive myself home after the root canal even though I have done so with invasive (rotator cuff & L5 laminectomy) surgeries in the past. No need to argue so I made arrangements to be brought by my son and then picked up by my wife afterward. So I arrive and check in. My son left and immediately I was approached about why he left. I explained he had to go to work and was only dropping me off. The staff quickly informed me that the dentist could not do the root canal without me having a family member present. I shared that my wife was coming later to get me. They checked with the dentist and he said that wasn't good enough; they needed someone present the whole time. My wife was planning on arriving about 10am which would have been sufficient time for the procedure and me to recover somewhat. They asked if she could come immediately, to which I said no. They continued to go back and forth with the dentist, Sandlin, who refused to change his mind about a family member being present. At no time was this EVER shared with me that I MUST have a family member present DURING my root canal. It is absolutely absurd! What could my family member do that trained "medical professionals" couldn't do if he screwed up? Would they wheel me into the waiting room and ask my wife to do cardiopulmonary resuscitation? So I asked that. What would you do if I experienced any kind of life-threatening event? The answer, "well, we would call for an ambulance." Duh! Ya think? My follow-up question was, "would you consult my wife about attempting CPR before calling an ambulance?" The answer, "no." Again, duh!!! So, what is the reason for requiring my wife or any family member to be present? No answer. Blank stares. Are you grasping this? So, I immediately demand a refund of my already paid-in-advance fee of over $2000. Their long answer was ridiculous so here is their ultimate short version...we'll request a refund processed through our corporate office and that should take no longer than 2 to 4 weeks. On top of that the girl said there will be a fee for canceling services today. SERIOUSLY??? You're going to charge me a fee for not informing me of this ridiculous requirement of having a CPR-trained family member present during whole procedure? And sure enough they did; they charged me $225 for the privilege of being treated like yesterday's trash. No root canal. No satisfaction. No apologies. Just a "kick in the teeth" by a dentist. I ended up Ubering home which was another $30 out of my pocket to add insult to injury. My recommendation is twofold. One, make sure you have full and total transparency from the doctor/dentist, and two, don't use Bluegrass Endodontics. They do not care about integrity in their word or how they treat people, and certainly are about the almighty dollar and let the patient be damned.
