My 18 year old college student recently called me from her dorm literally crying in pain saying her jaw hurt. We got in with our dentist same day and were referred to Endodontic Associates as it appeared a nerve died in a tooth that had a cavity filled a few years back. They got us in within 25 minutes, diagnosed her, and to my great surprise offered to do the root canal the same day. My daughter came out of the procedure saying that it went smoothly and she had no pain or discomfort throughout. She reiterated how friendly, caring and nice Dr. Sparrow and his staff were. He explained everything and even drew a diagram to show my daughter exactly what to expect prior to getting started. She woke this morning to no pain and was back to her typical self. They definitely exceeded my expectations on all levels. My daughter did not have a negative thing to say about them. First off, when you drive up to their office it's quite impressive. When we walked in we were greeted by two front desk assistants that were incredibly nice & professional. The waiting room was vibrant, clean & comfortable. I went back with my daughter, they got her settled in her room & went over things with me. (Very detailed) My daughter said the patient chairs were the best she'd ever been in. Her cleaning went well & she was very pleased with the end result! They recommended getting her wisdom teeth out (that won't be so wonderful, but necessary! She has severe TMJ issues that if not monitored things could get extremely painful for her. She got her braces off yesterday. So the dentist will play an instrumental part in making sure she doesn't slide backwards. The dentist was friendly & did a great job explaining what the next steps would be for her. We will definitely be going back for further dental needs. Luckily, I had the minimal work done at a minimal cost by a general dentist, and all is well. If I had taken Dr. Wright's recommendation, I would have paid him thousands of dollars for unnecessary procedures that could have had serious consequences. I recommend steering clear of this guy. I am not sure if he still has multiple offices, but I visited his Goodlettsville location late in 2025. Aside from a weird vibe I got from the dentist himself, the staff were excellent and professional. Nothing about the staff was out of the ordinary. The only other recommendation regarding this dentist is to search for him on Google and any previous practices he has been associated with.

During treatment, when I said 'no' very clearly to a particular act, I was not asked why I was saying no, only told that I had no choice and forced to comply. I was then told in a very condescending tone that I had the option to stop mid-procedure and come back and be sedated. I spent the entire procedure with my mouth propped wider than I am able to open, with absolutely no way to explain. I was not offered any other option. I am still in pain the next day - not at the site of the tooth, but the jaw and muscles on the OTHER side of my face where I was forced to open further than was comfortable for more than an hour. I won't go back to Tennessee Endodontics, nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.

My wife was in severe pain and went to her regular dentist who said she needed a Root Canal, and recommended Dr. Crump. We got an appointment with Dr. Crump and his assistant took a 3-D Xray. My wife was in the chair waiting for the Root Canal BUT Dr. Crump reviewed the x-ray and noticed an almost invisible crack in the tooth - he was only able to see it because of the 3-D Xray, because her main dentist had done a regular Xray and didn't see it. Dr. Crump told us that a Root Canal wouldn't solve her problem and that she needed the tooth extracted. --- Think about that - he could have easily gone ahead and done the Root Canal and we would have paid for it, BUT he is honest and did what was best for my wife - he put her first. Also, he is very skilled and professional to notice the crack - you had to look close to see it. We were just charged for the cost of the 3-D Xray and a consultation, so he lost a lot of money - he had already blocked out that time slot for my wife. Even so, he was very polite about it and even gave my wife a prescription for pain medication. Also, his staff was VERY nice, helpful and friendly. I think he's Top 5% and highly recommend him.
