I have seen Dr. Dr. Emmanouil Sigalas twice in last 6 months - once for retreatment of root canal and one for fresh root canal. Truly amazing - yes these five star google reviews are real. He sounds like Gru(from Despicable Me 2/3/4 from Minions movie)-humorous and straight forward and he is. No BS - straight forward. Office staff is also good. They are expert Endodontics who will do the root canal with precision with absolute no pain and will explain you clearly(before and after) so that patient knows what is being done? A few weeks ago, I had to undergo the dreaded root canal (*SHRIEK!) I have had root canals (*SHRIEK!) in the past, and they were as bad as they sound- lots of pain and even feeling electrical shocks as the dentist touched the root. Upon entering EA of Irving, Joan greeted me and immediately put me at ease. Her demeanor was relaxed and friendly, which definitely helped with my nerves. Angelica was the assistant and she efficiently took x-rays and prepped me. Again, very kind and patient with my questions. Dr. Budhani arrived to the room once I was ready. I swear, her presence and her voice were beyond calming. She first made sure which tooth needed to be worked on and determined that it was the tooth next to the one my dentist had recommended. She used a topical anesthesia first prior to injecting an anesthetic, which meant no pain when she was inserting the needle. Thank the good Lord! She continually checked on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was not feeling pain. Her soothing voice and excellent skills put me at ease. She and Angelica worked well and efficiently together. I could see that they had obviously worked together for a while. And viola, the root canal (*SHRIEK!) was complete. May I tell you, I experienced ZERO pain during the procedure nor electrical shocks. NONE! I was truly blown away with how they made it so easy. I completed my check-out with Trina, who was so sweet and funny! It felt like we were all friends and I really appreciated that. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Budhani if you need specialized dental procedures. I personally will not let ANY other person perform another root canal (*SHRIEK!) on me, again. Kristi at the front desk was very friendly and professional. She took the time to verify with my insurance what my costs would be and explained in detail. Cora was also very nice and a great assistant to Dr. Sigalas during my treatment. Dr. Sigalas was very personable and knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly explain all possible scenarios and treatment plans. Both Dr. Sigalas and Cora were so thoughtful during my retreatment procedure. They frequently would check with me to make sure that I was comfortable and also encouraging me by letting me know that I was doing well throughout the procedure. I had to have a dreaded root canal and this office was in my insurance network. I chose Dr. Budhani and I have never experienced such amazing care and attention from Dr. Budhani and her assistant (whose name I forget at this moment). They fully explained in detail what was about to take place and continually asked me if I was doing ok throughout the procedure. I unfortunately have had a TON of dental work over my life, and this was undeniably one of the best experiences I've ever had. Definitely schedule your appointment here!!! I will leave a disclaimer and say that I am one of those weird people that actually enjoy going to the dentist. But seriously - I am blown away by the completely painless root canal treatment that I just received. I've had one before and it was NOT like this. I literally called the day before to schedule the appointment. They gathered my insurance information and I later received an estimate over the phone, and got everything efficiently taken care of the following day. They were able to honor my request and preserve my crown as well, which I'm so grateful about because it saved me a lot of money. Dr. Sigalas and Bria (spell check) were an absolutely amazing team! I never felt in the dark about what was going on. Everything was explained thoroughly and they constantly made sure that I was okay during the procedure. The front desk staff was very friendly and professional too! I am only saddened that Endodontic Associates of Irving isn't a general dentist able to take care of any and every dental need that comes up. I don't want to go anywhere else after being in their care! They've certainly set the bar high. I had a root canal completed at the Irving office. I've had 3 since I've lived in Dallas for the past 20 years. Each of them was completed at this office. Dr Sigalas lets you know that your comfort is very important to him. He takes the time to explain everything at the same time he distracts you with his life stories. He's authentic with his concerns. I guess you would say a great bedside manner. Ana and Trina are the icing on the cake if getting a root canal can be cake. I was referred to Endodontic Associates of Irving by my dentist and I had an appointment with Dr Nadia Budhani for a second opinion. She was polite and greeted me with a smile instantly calming me down, with an excellent bedside manner and was gentle. She explained each step before performing it which prepared me on what to expect. She was able to answer all of my questions and also ensured if the questions were out of her expertise, suggested who can better answer my questions( oral surgery and oral surgeon for tooth extraction) could answer my questions better, this reflects her level of dedication towards her patient's concerns and comfort. Dr. Nadia Budhani was most gentle with me doing a root-canal that had pulp stones. Didn't know I even had them, she was the first Dentist to ever explain this to me. The procedure went smoothly and I was surprised that I felt no pain during or after the procedure because I usually do with other Dentists. Dr Sigalis is a sorry excuse for a pediatric dentist. My eight year old was referred here by our normal dentist. We went for an initial visit and was scheduled for repair two days later. I told them she was very nervous and scared. Our dentists sent us there because they knew she needed some kind of sedation. I told them at the beginning to plan on nitrous. When the dr came in he told the nurse not to use it because he could do it without. After placing the numbing gel in her mouth she started to cry. Dr Sigalis sternly told her to stop crying. He said he had not hurt her and she had no reason to cry. Then he told her she was acting like a baby. He tooth was going to get so bad it would hurt when she ate and when she slept and he had to fix it. She was so upset. The nurse actually stood and moved her chair to allow us to leave easier. Now, we are scrambling to find another dentist to help her and she will most likely need anesthesia now that she has been traumatized by his unbelievable bedside manner. He does not have any business working with children. I am a mom/foster of eight and I am raising two grand children. Several of my children have special needs. I spend a huge part of my life in doctors offices. Believe me when I say I have never experienced this type of treatment or anything close. Do not take your children to him. read more

I have been afraid of going to the dentist for as long as I can remember. That fear, coupled with my difficult-to-control Diabetes, landed me in a painful and urgent situation that left me crying for days. My dentist referred me to Endodontic Associates, and from start to finish, the entire office staff were FANTASTIC. I saw Dr. Sigalas, who was kind, patient, and gentle. Throughout the evaluation and the two subsequent root canals, my comfort was constantly reassured by Dr. Sigalas, and the procedure was completely painless. I was in this morning, via referral from my dentist for a root canal. Dr. Sigalas handled the procedure for me, along with the assistant, I believe her name was Angela. As much as a root canal can be 'awesome', this one was. I felt no pain. The Dr. talked me through what he would be doing and he talked (politics!) nearly the entire way through. The only negative was that I couldn't talk back! haha! It's now lunchtime and the numbness has worn off and I still feel no pain. These guys have almost all excellent reviews on Google, so I actually thought they might be faking them or something. But I went anyway for a needed root canal, and it turns out, they actually were very impressive. I was seen by Dr. Budhani, who was extremely gentle, and great about explaining everything that was going on, as well as asking me at regular intervals if I was doing okay. Getting a root canal isn't comfortable even for someone like me who isn't afraid of the dentist, but I can't imagine having a better experience than the one I had there. A few other things I found impressive: 1) They specifically asked at the start of the appointment if I could take ibuprofen (I can't, allergic), rather than just bringing it in and telling me to take it. (You'd be surprised how many doctors etc just assume NSAIDs are always okay, even if you put an allergy in your paperwork.) They provided Tylenol as an alternative. 2) After I told the assistant I couldn't take ibuprofen, Dr. Budhani asked if I felt I had enough Vicodin at home, basically proactively offering me prescription pain relief for after the anesthetic wears off. I would expect to have to ask, if I needed it. 3) A lot of places will call you a day or two after a potentially painful procedure, but it was Dr. Budhani herself who called me. I thought that was unusually good practice. I left thinking my skepticism of the other good reviews out there was definitely misplaced, and I'm now recommending them. read more

I'm new to Dallas and tried one of the more flasher dentistry networks first. As expected, it was all talk and unnecessary fluff. Massage chairs, sunglasses, and Pandora radio are cool but not if can't provide the dental expertise to match it. I was referred to Endodontic Associates of Irving by a co-worker and let's just say that co-worker is now on my Christmas list. Dr. Nadia Budhani and her staff at Endodontic Associates of Irving were more than happy to take my last minute appointment for a root canal (and we all know how hard it is to get dental appointment during the end-of-year rush). They were patient with me, very knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable during the entire process of which was only about 45min. I was in/out and back to work the same day. I hope to not have a need to see them for a while but should I need oral surgery in the future, Endodontic Associates of Irving will be my first pick. In-spite of asking them multiple times about the balance, my portion of the payment they still charged me 2 months after the service was done. Not sure what the team is doing as they are not even capable providing a proper estimate of the costs even after 2 visits ( one consultation and one procedure). Perfect example of rip off and unprofessionalism. 0 star ( Zero star) for them. This is one of the best offices that I have ever dealt with as a patient! They are so nice and caring! They worked with me and my Primary Dentist to get my daughter in for an appointment on a very limited time frame! They performed the work well and even Dr. Sigalas called me that night to check on how my daughter was doing and explained everything! They office staff called me the next morning to check on her and later Dr. Sigalas called also to check on her and stated since she was still swollen, he wanted to call in a different prescription for her!
