The reason I came to this place is because I see that commercial late at night and figured I would give it a try since it's near my home. For me it is important that a office is maintained and that the front desk are friendly. Also, that the DDS makes me feel comfortable and safe. The front desk don't greet and don't say "thank you..." The room I was in had a water leak stain on the ceiling and a light fixture was a bit dangling. The trim of the door was rotten. When the DDS came in, his handshake was soft, LIMP. He doesn't look into the eyes and seems to be bothered by questions. He was probably in the room for under two minutes. The assistant (a sweet young girl) gave me the treatment plan and expressed that the DDS takes about 15 minutes for a root canal. NO THANK YOU. I ended up going to a SPECIALIST (endodontist) for those treatments. For this reason I give this place a low rating.

I have been a professor for 50 years at UTRGV and I educated nearly half of the graduates here. I was so humiliated. The original plan was to extrat to molars. I came in with an infection in 2 molars and knowing I…read morewas in pain. The dr said she would send meds to my pharmacy. All she sent was antibiotics. I inquired and was told to take 2 Tylenol with 1 advil, that is the plan with dental plan. Results- 2 ER visits and 1 hospitalization of 4 days. Due to high pain, blood pressure was in 200s, traponen enzymes in my heart was elevated. I was admitted to the hospital. This pain cost me 4 days in the hospital. Follow up with my pcp, I was given a stronger antibiotic and pain meds. After get t ing out of the hospital, I went back to the clinic. Dr Doloryes, proceeded to extract my teeth. She numbed me up. She said to her assistant, the infection is blocking the anesthetic. She continued to start to pull my tooth anyways. I was in so much pain. I asked her to stop. I'd rather go to an oral surgeon. The Dr, & office manager were perturbed with my decision. I was charged $100 for work that was not done. Not a good experience. We will be finding another dentist and oral surgeon.
