I have taken many of my girlfriends here for their birthdays, and I have been suprised a few times myself with spontaneous trips. With an inner city location, this Endota is smaller and a little noiser than others, just from sheer building size and traffic. But they have decked the place out with soothing music and equipment and try their best to make the place quiet and serene. Endota Rundle is 3 stories tall, with the reception and entry on the middle level. There is a tea/waiting room downstairs along with some treatment rooms and larger group rooms upstairs. The therapists are amazing, as expected, and they know their stuff, tailoring each treatment to suit the client. Sometimes I have had nice chats with them, or a laugh, or a silent treatment where I have almost fallen asleep. If you want something a little different, get Alex the male therapist, he is pretty cool.

This review is as completely honest as it would have been had I paid full price. Staff were not aware I was reviewing their services at the time. I called to book my appointment for a mani/pedi and hung up before realising I wasn't asked for my name or contact number. However, this wasn't an issue when I arrived and, after my feedback, has been addressed with staff. There is a decent range of colours to choose from; mostly OPI and some Essie (possibly China Glaze as well but can't confirm). There's also a good selection of fun glitter and textured polishes which I find can be lacking in other salons. I chose regular polish but I could see what looked to be a good range of shellac and gel polishes also if that's your thing. I was shortly called through to a pedicure chair and enjoyed the foot spa and massage chair action while I was waiting. The filing, shaping and sole scrub all went well (apart from the usual squirming during the ticklish sole scrub). The cuticle scrape and trim also went well and I was happy to not have any bleeding cuticles this time as I find quite often happens. The leg scrub is still quite vigorous and borders on painful and unfortunately the rinse off jet was initially scalding hot to the point of burning and made me jump and yell. A little refinement in this area would make it more enjoyable. A hot towel wipe off was a nice touch. It was then time to move over to the manicure station and the same technician performed my manicure. One unusual thing was that she pushed my cuticles back with her own thumb nail which I'd never seen before but actually preferred as being a gentler alternative to the scraper. Drying is the old school fan method and a coat of finishing spray to end. The horrendous easy listening muzak that I was subjected to during the last visit is "burned and buried" and entertainment was the Victoria's Secret runway shows on TV which was an improvement, even if I did have to tolerate a live performance by Justin Beiber. I was impressed that Anthony had taken the time to contact me via Yelp and was seeking feedback on the changes he was making to the business. This shows a strong desire to improve and an understanding that the customer experience is vital to success!

The whole process took about 45mins with the additional length that was added. Overall I'm satisfied with the way it looks, but would have been nice to know what I was paying at the end.

This is like walking into a relaxing day spa. The decor is modern, white and calming. The staff welcomed me and asked if I wanted a water whilst I was waiting. Still or sparkling. I also also chose my nail colour, paparazzi pink. When ready I walked over to the long mani table. I had the signature treatment. It included a soak, nail filing, hand scrub, massage, and nail polish. It cost $65 for 45 min, which is pretty reasonable if you want the works. They also do pedis and have a podiatrist to manage any others ailments you may have. How many nail spas have that? I'd love to come back for a pedi.

Endota Spa can take care of all your beauty needs and in my opinion the Hyde Park store is simply the best of all the Endota's in Adelaide. They use the luscious range of Dermalogica products for all of their treatments and ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your allotted appointment time so you can wind down. Whatever you do, don't arrive late because they will finish your appointment time at the allocated time to ensure the next person isn't delayed. A few treatment ideas from the Hyde Park salon to whet your appetite ... how does a one-hour deluxe spa manicure or pedicure sound? What about an organic spray tan? And if you have plenty of time and cash, what about a five hour splash out package complete with yoghurt body wrap, full body massage, facial, manicure and pedicure? Sounds like heaven right? It is!

I booked in for the Delux Pamper Package (1 hour massage & 30 min facial) 1 1/2 hours just melted away and the head and foot massage took me off to another place - and I feel asleep during the body massage. The facial was bliss- and the products were nice and had a pleasant smell, and left the skin feeling light and smooth. The service was good and on leaving Mel advised they do season specials - which she did tell me about and I have to admit did rebook for a massage and scalp treatment!! I walked into this business not sure of what to expect and walked out with appointments in advance for next few months. I now have to break up with my previous Beauty Spa place as this place is divine bliss. But they for sure get the job done. Quite good for groups because you can all have a mani and or pedi at the same time lots of massage chairs available = no waiting around. It can get really busy during peak periods - lunchtimes, late night shopping and Saturdays but generally you can either walk straight in or snag a "come back in 15mins" type appt. I visited this salon today. Very unhappy about the service!…read more Manicure was shocking. As shown in the photos, you can see dead skin and nail polish around my nails. The whole manicure process was painful as the woman was doing this so hastily...even her colleague admitted that when I showed her my nails. One of my nails was bleeding a bit. One finger turned out murky as shown in the photo. My nails have nail polish around them. She tried to remove one spot with nail file!! Then she left and started working on someone else's nails without even asking if I was happy. My two thumbs look different as she filed the top of one so much that it became flat on top. They were not even apologetic!! Terrible service! Not professional in attitude or work.
