They did change the pumps recently, so it's a plus; and looks a lot better compared to the old, rusty pumps. The area and clientele's are a bit sketchy, so always keep your guard up. But if you want cheap gas, their prices are always and almost lower compared to surrounding gas stations. In California...especially the Bay Area, the average price for regular unleaded ga$ is $4.397 and premium ga$ is $4.712. Expensive? Still cheaper than any fancy-schmancy cup of coffee from you local $tarbucks if you put it in perspective. Try calculating how much a gallon of the shampoo you're using would cost. Your lipstick? Your makeup? You hear me? This Mobil gas station along San Pablo Dam Rd. across from Princeton Plaza strip mall is as cheap as Costco and you don't have to wait in a long line. Their regular unleaded is currently $3.83, which is the same as Costco at Richmond. And they follow the current COVID guideline of wearing masks indoors. The cool thing about it is that they also provide you with free disposable gloves to use. I haven't encountered any other gas station providing this kind of very thoughtful service. It is very much appreciated. The people I have encountered here are also the nicest around. Generally speaking, people that work at gas stations are not the friendliest lots, but here, they are genuinely nice and kind. Very warm and inviting. And fellow Yelper D.wight brought this up: There's something about the phrase, "Thank you, my friend" that makes me feel all warm and gooey inside. Cheap ga$ and friendly service.
