Regarding the facility, it is the most organized landscape and material business I have seen. The area is sectioned off by material type and easy to navigate. In addition, they keep all of the areas clean. This time, we needed several cubic yards of rock for the final phase of our front yard landscape project. The staff members were super friendly and clearly had a background in good customer service. The ladies were so helpful and patient, while we selected what we wanted. They also made suggestions. Measuring cubic yards is not the easiest thing to do (at least for me), so I was a little concerned I might have ordered too much. The staff explained we could pickup the material in phases, and anything we did not need would be refunded to our credit card on file. Well, my measurements were slightly over what we needed, and the refund process over the phone was seamless. I highly recommend O.F. Wolfinbarger for any building or landscape material needs. As I bought 3 succulents and was heading out to leave, I saw something else I just had to have and a pot to go along with it. They were super kind and potted my new plant in its pot, gave me some fancy rocks, answered all my questions and really made me feel like a valued customer. A friend recommended Patton's Steel in Irwindale. I inquired via email, and a person named Cody Robinson got right back to me the next day. He gave me a quote for a steel 12-ft piece of 11-gauge square tubing 1.5 in x 1.5 in x12 ft. I had looked at other places, but the prices were crazy, and to have it delivered was, in some cases hundreds, of dollars. I had a few more questions, and Cody answered them promptly. He made me feel very comfortable working with their company. He stated that the product would be on will call for me at the Ontario location which was great because it was on my way home from Fontana. I let him know that I had Thursday off so I would pick it up then, and he said no problem just go to the front desk. I did just that and within about 10 minutes I had a 12-ft square tubing made of steel at my disposal. I really didn't need 12 ft, so I asked them if they could cut it to 10 and I didn't need the scrap. The person with whom I delt, said that was not a problem he took it and cut it to a 10 ft length--perfect. The staff knew their product well and it was very nice to deal with people that knew exactly where product is and how to get it to the customers in a timely manner. Now the Ontario location is a retail location, so I thought it might be more expensive, but I was wrong. Out the door the price was $54.38. I brought $54.40 thinking they wouldn't have pennies, but much to my surprise they did have change and I got two pennies back, I guess two cents for my thoughts hahaha.. This location, has all kinds of tubing, posts, solid and hollow, whether they be square cornered, round, long or short. I was amazed at the selection that they had. If you have need to make a brace for a tree or need to make a cage or tubing for some reason, this is the place to go.
