One of our showers wouldn't shut off, so I had to turn off the water to the entire house. I called Rockstar, and Ricardo was at our home within three hours. Ricardo quickly diagnosed the problem and worked with Snyder Diamond and, ultimately, the faucet manufacturer to get the correct replacement cartridge. Once I saw how thorough and efficient he was, I asked him to tackle a few other projects while he was here. He performed the annual maintenance on our three tankless water heaters, replaced the worn components in three Toto toilets that have had chronic running issues after flushing, and fixed two leaking faucets that seemed to decide to act up at exactly the same time. Every job was completed quickly, and everything has worked perfectly since. What impressed me most wasn't just that Ricardo knew what he was doing. It was how efficiently he worked. He diagnosed problems quickly, came prepared, and got everything taken care of without wasting time. Today, we have a fully functioning shower, three serviced water heaters, toilets that no longer run, and faucets that don't leak. If speed dial still existed, Ricardo and Rockstar Plumbing would have a permanent spot on mine. Would I call Rockstar Plumbing again? Without hesitation.

It did not which was fine and they came back the next day to finish. After they left we went in the attic to see the work and were shocked to see multiple FOOT gaps in the insulation and an entire section of the house not done! We also lost power in 4 rooms of the house on the second day. Workers did not know what they did and tried to say it was problems we already had. They then came back for a third day to attempt to fix the electrical issues they had caused and only further caused problems. We now have no electricity in half of our home and live, open, and BUTCHERED wires in the attic. As well as several cracks and puncture marks in the ceiling and our AC vents being covered and tubing crushed! Josef is very unprofessional and is claiming that we are trying to scam him despite his company still not finishing the simple job they were hired for and the property damage to our home.

I have an old-school wood-burning fireplace that had never been properly serviced, so every winter…read moresmoke would seep into the house. Michael inspected the chimney with a camera and quickly found the problems. The original damper was mounted low and blocked much of the smoke chamber, the smoke chamber itself was rough and poorly shaped, and the deteriorated flue liner left large gaps that disrupted the draft. Rather than simply repairing the chimney, he completely re-engineered how it worked. He removed the old damper and installed a top-sealing damper, enlarged and reshaped the opening into the smoke chamber, then rebuilt and smoothed the chamber so the smoke could flow cleanly and efficiently into the flue. The result is remarkable. He took a 50-year-old chimney and made it work better than new. For the first time since we've owned the house, the fireplace drafts perfectly without a trace of smoke entering the room. As a bonus, it looks fantastic too. His crew was equally impressive. They paid attention to every detail, and even though chimney work is inherently messy, they sealed off the entire work area with plastic and left the house absolutely spotless. I'm incredibly grateful I found Michael. It's rare to find someone who combines this level of technical expertise, craftsmanship, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm for his work. He clearly loves what he does, and it shows in every detail. It's also a reminder of what's been lost. Today, so much of construction is about replacing rather than restoring, and many fireplaces and chimneys arrive as prefabricated systems assembled from factory-made parts. There's nothing quite like finding a true mason who understands how a traditional masonry chimney is supposed to work and has the skill to improve it rather than simply replace it. Craftsmen like Michael are becoming a rare breed, and I'm grateful there are still artisans who take this much pride in their work.

I first reached out to Michael for an inspection when we were in escrow on our home. The home was built in 1967 and nothing had been done to the fireplace/chimney since then. He was incredibly thorough in his inspection and report, to the point that both the seller agent and our agent asked how I found such a good inspector. His quote for repairs was extremely fair and his detail helped us get a credit for the repairs needed. Fast forward to once we moved in, I reached out to Michael to schedule and he was able to get his team out less than a week later. It was over summer, so I would guess in fall/winter, it's likely a longer lead time, but he's extremely nice and accommodating so I'm sure he helps people if they are in a bind. Michael said it would take 2 days to complete the work, which it did (this is honestly refreshing because usually people quote less time and then end up going over), his guys were prompt and did a great job on all the work. They cleaned up after themselves and left the space looking just the way it was before they came. Michael then came out at the end to check out the work and ensure it was up to his standards. He installed faux wood logs and charged exactly what he paid, he didn't upsell us or anything. 10/10 would recommend!

He trusted the employee's recommendation and paid over $30. After returning to the car and opening the package, we realized that what he had been sold was replacement vape pods/cartridges, not an actual vape device. That is not what we asked for. My husband immediately went back into the store, literally within seconds of the purchase, explained that the employee had misunderstood his request, and asked to either exchange the product for the correct item or refund the money. The employee refused to help and said, "That's not my problem. Come back tomorrow and talk to the manager." We left the cartridges at the register because we had no use for them, but nobody refunded our money and nobody tried to resolve the situation. We never asked for cartridges. We specifically asked for a vape device and relied on the cashier's recommendation. We were not properly advised, we were not informed clearly about what exactly we were buying, and we feel that the employee took advantage of the situation instead of helping us. As foreigners, we cannot help but feel that the overnight employee took advantage of us and simply sold us something we never asked for. We live on the next street and are local customers. This is the worst customer service we have ever experienced in this neighborhood. It is extremely disappointing to be treated this way by a business that is supposed to serve the local community. I sincerely hope the manager sees or hears about this review. I am ready to come back to the store and collect the money we lost because of this situation. We did not receive the product we actually wanted. We were sold the wrong item based on the employee's recommendation. The grounds always look unkept and the waste management throws the bins around, breaking bins and placing them in front of our garage doors making it impossible to get out of our homes. Since January I have experienced new issue after issue. My slab leaked in January and they sent the most unprofessional team they could to fix it. Mixed matched paint was used to finish the job and it took them 3 weeks coming 1-2 hours at a a time to do the job and the finished work is an eye sore. After the recent rain we noticed that our garage's roof leaked and I have yet to hear about it being repaired, even after sending a few emails. I also have a rat problem which is alarming when you're a clean freak like I am. I have reached out to Shayne about the garage leak and the rats multiple times and she lets days or weeks pass before sending an email stating "she understands my problem" but never offering a resolution. There has got to be a better company to run our community. They have other folks on the HOA board that run illegal or at least illegitimate businesses out of their homes (ie: a dog day care) and they have 6-10 dogs in their homes at all times, barking...being walked off leash...leaving dog poop bags around, it's awful. This matter was also brought up to Shayne almost 2 months ago and nothing. If it's Shayne that's making our lives miserable, please help us out.
