When you first arrive you will go through medal detectors which I appreciated. The staff working the entrance to the house, scanning tickets, giving directions were all kind and professional. Before scanning tickets there are some photo ops, games, snd and a DJ. Serval actors out in this area to keep you engaged and get excited before entering the haunt. The actors inside the haunt were engaging and had high energy. They pulse groups of about 6 people at a time to create a better experience. I timed the experience and it took about 9-10 minutes from start to finish. While it is not the scariest haunt I have done, it was still a great time with many jump scares throughout. Great night out and would recommend!

On Thursdays the museum is open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm and there is no charge to visit the museum. You won't be disappointed. There is always something interesting to see and learn for every age. Last Thursday evening, my daughter, granddaughter and I attended the event inspired by the Aminah Robinson exhibit. We enjoyed making an art project, seeing local talented artists and their work, hearing moving poetry and live jazz, eating delicious food and visiting Aminah's art exhibit again. It was a spectacular evening attended by interesting people enjoying the night together.
