I literally asked THE STAFF to lower their voices as it echos throughout the QUIET ROOM multiple time! and instead of doing so, one of the desk workers who previously asked me to EXIT THE QUIET ROOM so that an employee can eat their damn lunch while I was STUDYING gave me an attitude for POLITELY asking their asses to lower their voices as we are in a library. This bozo then asks me to EXIT the Quiet Room AGAIN because she and her colleagues are UNABLE TO USE LIBRARY APPROPRIATE VOICES! I wish I could upload a recording of how loud and OBNOXIOUS they are so that those of you who see this could understand how insanely loud these Public Library working HAGS are! So again, if you actually need a quiet space to get some legitimate reading or studying done DO NOT COME TO TENAFLY PUBLIC LIBRARY! especially if you are a person of color because I am absolutely positive that if I was Caucasian that the response to me respectfully asking them to lower their voices so that I may study for an exam IN PEACE would have been received very differently. There is a large quiet section with large cubbies & other areas which I have yet to explore. The lower level has a large selection of CD's & DVD's. Going to the restroom felt a bit ominous because the lower level is usually less populated & the bathrooms are secluded. I would definitely be back here for quiet study or for a change of scenery from my local library. The staff have not been too friendly or welcoming but I did not interact more with them besides exchanging a simple "hello" or "goodbye."

Palisades Park Public Library has a calendar of events for each month. Each event shares a description and sometimes registration is required. The space is small and comfortable to be in knowing it's never crowded and too loud. When my lil guy was looking through one of the books, one of the friendly librarians was asking if he loved reading and was multitasking on returning books to the shelves ( thank you for being chatting with my lil guy even if he was a bit shy). There is parking along the side streets, be mindful of the street signs. Check out calendar events in case you want to participate. We'll be back soon.

Some events are for certain age groups/ populations, like seniors, teens, parents. Etc, while others are open to the general public. Activities range from practice career guidance to social events like movie screenings and even wine tasting. Every time I come to the library, the staff at the front desk is always very friendly and helpful. The librarian is also knowledgeable and able to point me In the right direction whenever I have a specific topic or title I'm looking for. I'm a big fan of the inter-library book exchange. You're able to place a request online for almost any book and pick it up at the Fort Lee branch when it becomes available. It's super convenient. Another great feature of this library is their partnership with museums in nyc. As a former NYC resident i was worried about missing out on some of the perks of being an NYC resident, but I found out that you actually get free access to to several museums with your Fort Lee Library card and you can request passes for a few guests as well. Overall, this library isn't the largestor necessarily the most modern, but it has mostly everything you could need or want from a local library. It's certainly nicer than my local library growing up and the service is always friendly. 4.5 stars

The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. As long as you have the proper credentials it will take you no more than 10 minutes to get a library card. They constantly have events for kids and adults. They have brand new Blu rays,4k Blu rays,DVDs, and video games available to rent. I love the books they have for sale because I can buy cook books for $1 . Upstairs they always have books for sale. Also printers and computers are available to use. What's there not to like about this library?

When I applied to Saint Peter's University I overlooked the Englewood Cliffs campus because I…read moreassumed it was far and probably did not have as many amenities as the JC campus does. With my final semester coming up for before I completed my Masters I was forced to take my last two classes at the Englewood Cliffs campus. Upon arriving to campus I was blown away by what it actually was. If you're a working adult who is continuing their education in the evening I'm sure you're looking for a school where everything is located on one floor. A place where if you need to see the advisor, dean, library, student lounge, and classroom are all within 5ft of each other. SPU is the place to go but only at the Englewood Cliffs campus. On one floor is all of these and much more. When I come to class a few minutes early I am able to heat up my dinner with the awesome microwave the student lounge provides, grab some snacks from the vending machine, or make a cup of coffee from the Keurig machine! Let's not forget about the most important part. The parking! This campus provides a parking lot that does not need a permit. The parking lot is not located across the campus but instead right outside the building where all of your classes are. I highly recommend attending the Englewood Cliffs campus if you are in any program. It is worth the drive and extremely convenient for the students.
