The mobile home/cabin was really nice/clean/new and equipped with absolutely everything we needed to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The pool was also a hit with the kids - they loved fishing off the docks as well. The park itself is really clean and maintained very nicely by the family who owns the park. I would definitely recommend this to any family who would like to get away to the lake this summer- its a wonderful destination that we truly enjoyed and will go to again!

But sometimes you want a more relaxed experience. Fee's Landing is that place. The cottages are definitely rustic (honestly I think using the word resort in the name is a bit of a stretch) but comfortable. The website descriptions are pretty accurate so i won't waste space on that. There 5 cottages, shared paddle boats, kayaks and canoes. There are frequently lots of families and the kids enjoy running between the beach and play ground. As I said the cottages are rustic but obvious recent improvements such as recently built fire pits for each cottage. Bring a fishing rod...honestly I have no idea what type of fish...but the kids had hours of fun every day fishing off the dock the beach area is good but other than that the lake is pretty weedya

The property is very well maintained and taken care of with no sign of disrepair or complacency, very nicely laid out as well. The cottages are appointed with everything to make your stay as comfortable as can be. Amenities such as fully appointed kitchen, indoor fireplace, bbq, comfortable beds and furniture, sat tv, and of course wifi (that worked perfect). All you need to bring is your clothes and food and you're good to go. The cabins have a nice size deck that faces the water with a fire pit just steps away. There is also a small onsite store and you can rent watercraft to get out on the lake as well. The owner seemed genuinely concerned at making our stay enjoyable yet was not intrusive in the slightest way, very considerate. I would not hesitate to recommend Fees Landing to my friends and family without a fear of disappointing anyone and will go back in the near future.

The Boat House Cabin that we stayed in was right on the water, complete with its own dock and the views were gorgeous any time of the day, especially at sunset. The cabin itself was spacious, spotlessly cleaned, and beautifully designed with modern amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen and stunning washroom features. So many thoughtful details went into the design of the cabin from the pretty tiling, artwork in the bedrooms, types of plates, etc. The basket of goodies (Away Cabins water bottle and various snacks) was also a nice touch. We also enjoyed the many shared amenities on site such as the hot tub with stunning views of the lake, the communal fire pit, a variety of fun games in the shed, and water equipment like kayaks and pedal boats. The kind and welcoming hosts Debbie and Jason check in on guests during their stay and they honestly thought of everything for such a relaxing getaway! They included pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, dish soap. No air conditioning but they have oscillating fans - luckily our stay wasn't too hot. We found this place on Airbnb but decided to check their website for a better price without as many fees, tuee helped me process the deposit and reserve our cottage a month in advance We bought firewood from their store (only $11), and from a stand nearby, corn and ice cream. We were also able to roast marshmallows and potatoes in a foil, in the fire pit. Loved being able to swim in their pool (was cold though as it's not heated) and the lake, being able to kayak (single or double persons, and try stand up paddle boarding. They said they have eggs and butter but throughout our stay, they didn't have either. People also bring stuff to fish - we didn't try fishing Bring $200 for deposit in cash for easiest return. They have an arts/kids room with dollar tree items (like the standing unicorn), but it's nice to provide an indoor space for kids to play in. They say it's only available to play if you purchase crafts from them. You have to bring your own bedding and towels, or can rent - 4 sets cost $60. We have to throw our own trash and keep the place clean for next guests The cuttings of grass was quite annoying because after we walked to our cottage, all the grass stuck to our feet and legs and into the cottage. They cut grass every day we were there. The broom didn't have a dustpan to get rid of all the cuttings inside the cottage They also have a small discount for return visitors.

Once there are two towels, two hand towels and two face washers stacked on the one rail, everything has to be moved for use. There are no shelves or rails or hooks anywhere else in the room so when you shower you leave your clothes on the toilet lid. If you want to hang the hand towels somewhere after use, the bath towels are in the way. Considering the size of the bathroom which is adequate, another rail or hook on the door would have made the whole experience perfect. There is a no smoking sign on the door, however smoking is allowed on the balcony, evidenced by a dirty ash tray on the table in the centre. Love the quirky ceiling fan on the balcony.

Pinecrest cottages was originally a summer retreat and has been around for about 150 years ! at some point about 20 cottages were built. Currant owners Diego & Lynn have owned the property for about 6 years and have done extensive renovations to the buildings and water front area.We brought along our own boat and there was ample space at the dock, pinecrest also has plenty of rental boats of all sizes and free canoes and kayaks .The cottages were clean and comfortable with great vistas and sun sets. The fishing is great either by boat or just off the dock.The cost turned out to be less than we thought ! We enjoyed the night time fires and found the other guests to be friendly, some traveled quite a distance from areas in the U.S and one we spoke to have been visiting for over 25 years ! we had a great week and have pre booked for next year. My girlfriend and I were disappointed this was a thing; watching the sunset by the beach with a cold one would have made my night, and for $300 for two nights I think were entitled to that. Other than that, cozy and great get away for the wknd. Just hide your drinks or youll feel policed while keeping the peace on your vacation. They should really make this a *u may be asked not to walk around with alcohol* rule. We get why its in place, but unless youre a drunken jerk, it shouldnt be a thing.

I can tell you that the hosts are terrific and the other park patrons are friendly and helpful. There are rooms on the ground floor and in a two story building. Luckily, during both of our stays we were able to get a room in the building. During our last stay the owner even asked us if we prefer the first or second floor. The room had what we needed for a quick overnight stay (fridge, coffee maker, etc.). We were greeted warmly and welcomed each time and we would gladly return again!
