I went to purchase a new pair today as it was time and was looking for a different brand simply due to past issues. However, after having conversation with Will about my concern with the squeaking Hoka's, he assured me that he could most likely fix them, it was probably the insert rubbing along the insole of the shoe. I advised I had followed directions from other staff at the time, I added talc powder and deodorant to the bottom of the insole, but nothing worked and I was well past any warranty period. Later in the afternoon, I returned to the store with my old shoes in hand to see if Will could come through with his promise. Will and two Team Members wiped down my insoles, how heroic as my shoes were well loved! Will applied "Body Glide" to the clean insoles. By the way, Body Glide can be purchased at the store for $9.00. Guess what? No Squeak. I was so skeptical, shame on me! Not going to be running in the old Hoka's as I purchased a new pair today. However, there is still life in the well loved Hoka's that no longer squeak , not going to retire them as I can still use them when running errands with no fear of being judged by those around me. The Bondi 9 might be the most comfortable shoe I've ever put on my feet -- an absolute game changer. I can be particular about color and sometimes hard to please when I have something specific in mind, but Robert went above and beyond to help me find the right fit. I've been loyal to the Asics Gel Nimbus for a few years, until the brand changed the style of the shoe into more of a Hoka. So, it was time to go back to Athletic Annex and find something new. Depending on the day of the week and time of day, you may be helped immediately or need to wait a bit. I was greeted by an employee who had me step on the foot analysis machine and walk on the treadmill to analyze my gait. They had just received new AI technology. She went over the results and pulled a number of shoes for me to try. Athletic Annex sells all the top brands -- Hoka, Brooks, On Clouds, Asics, New Balance, etc. I think it's well worth it to come to a running store like this (even if you're not a runner, like me) to see what is going to be best for you and your feet. My only comment is I was hoping for the sales associate to be more knowledgeable about the shoes and guide me through the process a bit more. For example: what made her select those shoes for me to try, what are the differences, what should I notice when walking in them around the store, etc. Personal preference on what I'm looking for in my shoe buying experience!

These 12 year old Iron Rangers 8111 have seen some things, but I brought them in for a re sole with Traction Tred and the results were outstanding. They estimated the work would take 8 to 10 weeks, and somehow returned them to me in just 5 weeks. Faster than the Kessel Run and twice as satisfying. The boots came back cleaned, refreshed, and looking incredible while keeping all the hard earned character they built over the years. The new soles make a huge difference. They are more comfortable, have excellent grip, and feel like the boots leveled up without losing their identity. This is what proper craftsmanship looks like. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly knew their craft. If your Red Wings are in need of a second life, this is the place to bring them. The Force is strong with this store.
