I did just last month for Christmas buy my son a custom blazer which had to be fitted. Tony Mina sold us the blazer at a very reasonable price and then effected two different fittings to assure the jacket fit exactly as it should. Throughout it all Tony provided expert, personal, and friendly advice and service. Located on the Circle in downtown Indianapolis, I cannot say enough positive things about A. Mina fine clothier and tailors. I do highly recommend this establishment to anyone in central Indiana who seeks to buy a suit, rent a suit (including tuxedos), or have a suit altered. Tony is the best.

Oh...a closer peek: its their beautiful Italic label
    Jack S.

Are you looking for a complete set of suit that makes you stand out in your friend's wedding? Or maybe you just wanna be casual, showing both style And comfort on your way to the cinema? Then grats! A. Mina Fine Clothier And Tailors is for you! My name is Jack Sun. I am a suit-nerd who was desperate to get myself a not-so-bad-looking body cloth, which would cover all of my private parts in a mind-blowing event in Las Vegas. In the midst of confusion and uncertainty (and a little insecurities as well), I stumbled across this tiny little Italian Tailoring Shop. Make Noo mistake! I am NOT a supermodel who has shiny six packs! I am NOT a fashion designer who would storm through Paris or Florence with any copied ideas. I am even NOT the beauty standard in the ENTIRE North America: I am only a 5'5999 Asian guy who used to have size & esteem issues... and yet, when I first step in A. Mina's exquisite boutique, I knew I made the right choice. The air is smooth and delicate, which is accompanied by an elegant Italian aroma. As I immerse myself in the gorgeous selections of fine suits, I did not dare to realize that from this moment on, I was in the firm grasp of Don Anthony, the second-generation Godfather of A Mina. You see, the Italians have a unique taste of fashion. And its not something that can be easily copy n pasted by smashing keyboards, its not mass-producing cheap quality goods from a third world country, and it can NEVER be comprehended by any other people except themselves. Its their passion. Its is their identity. It is deeply rooted in their culture, and manifested in this hidden gem in Downtown Indianapolis. Anthony (he prefers 'Tony') is the second generation cuz his dad immigrated from Italy decades ago...Along with little chubby Tony, he also brought the invisible but undeniable Italian Spirit: dedication and passion. For any tailoring project, Tony's dad would always understand his clients' tastes and personalities first, and then measure their sizes, which include shoulder width, waist width, arm length, and leg length. (No shoe size cuz they only specialize in suit) Days after days. Nights after nights. Sewing, measuring, resizing, and evaluating. Only the best of the best could do. That was how...Tony learned the art of men's fashion: people first, fit second, design third, and price last. You can say...that he became Don not only because of his father, but also his environment and hardworking as well. Alright, enough chatters. Its time to share my story with you. As an ultra-suit-nerd, I need to get my hide polished and my cloth sharp to look cocky enough to impress a horde of mega-wealthy-golden-gooses. And Tony...give me EXACTLY what I want. He showed me a dozens of fine suits, each looks sexy and shiny as if they are crafted by the hands of Hermes and enchanted by the breath of Aphrodite. The deep-sea-blue suit of pure tranquility, kissed by the mermaids And inked by the seahorses, portrays an ever-flowing image of Posidon's Paradise. The scarlet-red suit of everlasting passion, paints a rosey blossom that illuminates even the darkest corner in the galaxy. Although there are numerous other mouth-watering suits, none attracted me more than this one... That darkness...that authority..that glamour...rendered me completely breathless. It is the...perfect suit. Yes, I mean the 100% wool, S-150 black* suit. I was awed, even as a fashion-fanatic, I have never seen such a beautiful suit. I wanna touch it.. I wanna feel it.. I wanna embrace it... Bit-by-bit, Tony helped me to put It on my body. ... TAADAA! When I looked at the mirror, I couldn't even believe it: I was No longer a desperate nerd, I was No longer a normal guy, I am a Real King of infinite glory who commands legions of warriors that march to the end of horizon. All bows before my might And power. That sensation...transcends eternity. That...is the true definition of suit: classic yet beautiful. That is what...I always want. That is what...You deserve-as a Man. I bought It immediately, And Tony said It will be ready on Tuesday, February 18. I came back on that date, and found my suit(the tuxedo And the trousers) neatly packed on the first line of cloth hangers. ''Put It on, And you will sleep with fish tonight.'' said Tony. ''Yes. I will sleep, But not with fish.'' Tony laughed, as a veteran business dealer, he seemed rather contend with my guts. Again, he helped me to put It on, bit-by-bit. ''Hmm...I will just cut a few inches of your sleeves And your trousers.'' "How much?" "Zero.'' ''This is An offer I cannot refuse.'' ''Great. I will see you in 3 days.'' ''Why three days?'' ''Because that's How we do business in italy.' ''Okay.'' Three days later, he was there with a complete set of my suit. All is fit, neat and ready to hit. ''Sir.'' Tony pat my shoulder with a rare solemn expression in his eyes. ''Now call yourself Jack Corlenon.'' As he said, he bowed And kissed my hand. Thank you, Tony To Las Vegas, I go.

    My pants that were tapered.

If you are looking for nicer men's apparel like a suit for a wedding, this is an excellent place to…read moreshop. The store feels luxurious when you walk in but also approachable. It isn't huge but has the wide array of items from suits and toes to hats and shoes. Keep in mind it is a consignment shop so nothing is returnable. So I recommend either being certain or trying it on to guarantee satisfaction. I loved the suit I picked for my husband but sadly the measurements we had were off and it doesn't fit. It was disappointing as we need a suit for an upcoming wedding. But I understand the policy. This the warning to try it on in the store! I'd go back (with him this time) and look again as they did have nice items. I was told I could also consign the item with them but that seems like a lot of extra work. I'll wait to see if maybe he can fit it down the road...or someone might need it more than us. But a nice spot for men's formal attire and nice dress shirts.

Newman & Company exclusively sells men's clothing. You'll find formal wear, street wear, sweaters and hoodies, t-shirts, jackets and coats, jeans and pants and slacks, shoes, belts and accessories here. The shop is well curated, and all you'll see on the racks are straight-up hits. I visited with hoodies in mind. I was shopping for my teenage son. I really didn't know what to expect from this consignment store, but I found way more than I imagined! My son wears a man's size in sweatshirts, so I found a large variety of hoodies and sweatshirts that he might like. Keep in mind that this is a store for adults, so sizes start at adult small, which is actually pretty big. There are no children's clothing sizes here. I walked away with three hoodies, and because they were gifts, I obviously didn't try them on. Although, if I wanted to, there are changing rooms in the store. Be aware that all purchases are final. No returns! The service is top-notch. The people who work here are friendly and ready to help, but will also hang back and let you do your thing if you don't need them. When it came time to check out, they neatly folded my clothing as if it was their own. They have a no-bag policy, so be prepared to carry your clothing out sans bag. One thing to note: Newman & Company is affiliated with Amanda's Exchange, so if you have a rewards account with one, it is honored at the other.

For many years the colors, designs were not "official team" apparel which kept prices fairly low. Now that they've gotten into licensed team apparel, I've noticed some prices have gone up.. but it's the price of business. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ At any moment you'll see IU, Xurdue, Butler, Colts, Pacers and Indy 500 brands all over the store and online, with occasional touches into OSU, ISU (#LarryLegend), and retro brand fandom. The only less Hoosier Hopsitality thing about them is their staff - the guy working when I most recently stopped in did not appear approachable nor care to talk... but hello-- that is part of your job. The hipster Broad Ripple "I could care less" vibe he gave off left a sour taste in my mouth.

They had 2-3 shirts that were Taylor themed and a cute sticker. The prices were affordable and I paid $24 for a shirt and $3 for a sticker. I wish they had a larger selection of designs on different types of shirts. For example, the design I really wanted was only available on a very think cotton shirt and I would have preferred a lighter and softer material.
