When learning a new language, it should be fun and exciting. I looked into Language Door and found our forever home. First, the owner Natascha is fantastic. She's multi lingual and very hands on. She loves what she does and it shows with all the students. She knows what teachers would be best for certain students. Second, I love love love Susan and Lupe who work as administrators. Susan is Hungarian and speaks so many languages, I can't keep track. She's kind, a world of knowledge and gives the best hugs. Lupe is smart, multi lingual and wonderful! Every student who walks in is greeted in the language they're learning. There are adults and kids learning Japanese, Arabic, Spanish, etc. The teachers are worldly, my kids love their classes and can't wait to go to school even on Saturday's. While I'm waiting for my kids I get to speak with all the parents who are lovely. Walking in I feel transported to an international setting where people are open minded, multi cultural and inclusive. I wouldn't hesitate making the call! Thanks Language Door for embracing the love of language!

What really makes this place stand out (and believe me I did my research) is that if you want to take a foreign language class with them you can sit in on a few classes before you decide to sign up for the new start date. The owner, Natascha is also extremely attentive and you can tell she loves what she does and goes the extra mile for her students and teachers. I am quite impressed with the level of service provided and it was more than worth it for the price! I plan to sign up for German & Arabic courses shortly after my Advanced Spanish course commences.

Thankfully I found Sensei Atsuko after doing some research on the web. My son has been with Sensei Atsuko for about 3 months now and I am so impressed on how much he has learned. If you are thinking of taking Japanese I would highly recommend Ms. Atsuko at The Language Experts.

5-stars for Atsuko sensei and The Language Experts!…read more I tried, like many, to learn the Japanese language on my own. I ordered the Genki I textbook and started out strong. It didn't take very long for me to run into questions that I scrambled to try and answer through Google. I skipped a lot of the lessons that required a partner or a CD player. I ended up getting stuck and gave up. I decided I wanted to give the language another chance but this time I'd try taking lessons. I found The Language Experts through Yelp. I called and e-mailed and received responses very quickly and it gave me a good introduction and some expectations before signing up for the classes. I was a little reluctant to join a class with other students. It's part of the reason why I avoided taking a class at a nearby college. The prices are great for both private and group lessons and there's lots of different options to make payments as well. Despite the great prices of private lessons I gave the group lessons a try. I'm so very glad I decided to take the group lessons. Atsuko sensei will put you in a group that has a similar level whether you're completely new, or you've stopped and are starting again, or you have some sort of experience, she'll know which level and class to fit you in. My group is awesome and supportive and really fun! It's been less than a year but I've already learned a lot of the language and the culture that I would never have been able to do on my own and at a level I didn't think I'd ever get to. I'm really pleased and happy to be learning Japanese at The Language Experts. I hope to continue as long as possible!

I know it…read moresounds stupid, but some of the reasons I decided not to go with this school is because of how pushy the staff was. There were some details that turned me away, but it's too petty and ridiculous to post here at the moment. They had openings the very next month, but since classes only have 8-9 students, it's hard to believe that it wasn't full already. Although the classrooms looked cool, and I enjoyed the tour, there was this feeling like they were only after students' money and not their well-being. I guess I would have preferred speaking with one of the teachers, and not a counselor/advisor that doesn't quite have the expertise in the field. They have the limited X-ray license program for a year with morning/evening options. I forget the pricing, but I was told that many students choose this private schooling because of the community college waiting lists. Also, the presentation was extremely short and felt like it was cut short. Regardless, I would personally rather go through public education somewhere like Cypress, Mt. SAC, El Camino, LACC, etc.
