We have used feeding therapy for nursing and for transitioning to solid food, occupational therapy to help with poor upper body muscle tone, and more recently infant massage, which immediately helped my daughter's digestive system. There have a big cafeteria and a few exercise rooms and a pool that patients can use. My father in law came here for rehabbing his legs and they took such great care of him. The staff members are all very nice and very attentive. It's not like some other place that have one nurse to 15 rooms, they are spread out more so that you're not having to wait forever if the patient needs something. Would definitely recommend this facility to anyone needing a quality care rehab facility.

As a result of the fall I had broken my sacrum which was very painful. I wa treated with kindness by all, from the top right down to the lovely lady who cleaned my room. The trerapists, Physical, Occupational and Speech were all excellent, kind and compassionate. In many hospital stays over my 88 years i have never had such excellent food. Three meals a day over the two weeks I was there were each delicious. I highly recommend and thank Encompass Health Rehab.

Here's a quick rundown: Pros- Front desk is always friendly and helpful. Especially Jennifer. Therapists are qualified, patient, friendly, and most of them sugary sweet, and eager to help my child. Testing is thorough. They are a good resource to ask about other activities and services in the area. So ASK! Cons-The waiting room is Teeny Tiny and it gets super noisy. I wish they had more room, more chairs, a TV, magazines, a fish tank...something other than a handful of chairs especially if you've got a long wait. The parking lot is not easily accessible for a quick walk-in so you have to walk farrrrr. There is a Porte Cochere to stop and unload and an elevator to take you up. So you can stop, unload, then park. They're located in a two story building across from Panther Creek Shopping Center so finding them can be tricky if you don't know where to look. Perfect for Pediatric Speech, Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.

I randomly came across this business when looking for a practitioner who could assess some developmental concerns that we had. We did a few intakes or, basically, parent interviews. After this, even before our child was seen, we were recommended multiple different things. This rubs me the wrong way, but I had very little experience, so I don't know if this is correct to have all these assessments prior to even meeting a child. Anyway, to even set up an appointment or talk to somebody, the phone system is incredibly painful, and no one ever returns your phone call. I had left multiple messages, and when they do, I give you a call back you because you submitted some kind of online request. It is never with a phone number that you can actually get somebody right away with so you just play phone tag endlessly. Even though they have an internal system. I am pretty sure no one communicates with anyone else. Because we had canceled appointments and we were still getting confirmation calls for them. We are fortunate enough to have double insurances but for some reason, even though we gave our insurance 3 different times to them, they still tried to collect copays which we've never had to experience in about ten years of having double insurance. Additionally, you will automatically be put on a phone call, email, and text list for your copay balance regardless of how small it is. And it was a huge courtesy for them to build my secondary insurance which they never actually ended up doing and requested that I do a formal agreement promising I'd pay though I had already signed their financial agreement prior. FINALLY, I would not trust this place with sensitive information and the reason I could say that is because I have an email regarding another child's treatment along with copays and some sensitive information including I believe their birthday. I sent them an email letting them know that they sent me the wrong patient information, and they apologized. And that was the end of it.. Again, the few practitioners that we did talk to seemed good, but between their billing practices and their lack of handling your personal information along with not following through with insurance, I one hundred percent would never recommend this place to anyone. I usually do not leave such intense reviews but realistically. I think everyone deserves to know.

During a moment of frustration, our child--who is on the spectrum--bit Heather on the shoulder (not hard enough to break the skin). In response, she struck our child on the back of the neck with an open hand. This behavior is completely unacceptable and has been reported to Child Protective Services and the state licensing board. Her excuse was, "I didn't know he was a biter"--even though biting is a known and not uncommon behavior among children with special needs. Regardless, anyone who has worked with children--especially those on the spectrum--for over 30 years, as she claims, should be trained and prepared to manage such situations safely and professionally. Our son, who is still developing the ability to communicate his emotions, needed support and guidance--not physical punishment. What he received instead was a violation of trust and safety. We hope no other child experiences what ours did under her care.
