It's just your typical suburban Chinese takeaway restaurant, located on Newman Road in Geebung, just across the road from the RSL. Minimal décor, a few tables and chairs inside. It says they are a dine in restaurant, but I imagine the majority of their business is home delivery and takeaway.
The inside doesn't offer much atmosphere, and you feel like you're intruding into someones house if you stay too long. But the chef cooks a great feed!
It's tasty and cheap - most of the meals still are priced at under $10, with Prawn, Fish and Duck dishes priced at $13-16 each.
My recommendations are the Shredded Beef in Honey & Chilli, or "crack beef" as we jokingly called it. It's addictive like crack! The Sang Tung chicken ($9.80) and Sliced Beef with Szechuan Chilli Sauce ($9.30) both have a bit of spice to them, which I sometimes find rare with Chinese food.
Braised Chicken with Curry Sauce or Satay Sauce (both $9.30) are also personal favourites of mine. Most dishes come filled to the brim with vegetables and meat, so you can easily feed 2-3 people for under $30 and still have leftovers the next day. All takeaway orders come with a massive bag of Prawn Crackers too.
They currently have a dinner special - $10.80 for a stir fry dish and rice, plus your choice of Spring Roll, Dim Sim or Curry Puff. read more
