They have a self-serve soft serve ice cream station along with a huge candy section where you can fill a bag with however much you want. Honestly, they seem to have just about anything you could need during your trip. My husband ended up buying a Hilton Head T-shirt, and I found the cutest oyster shell ornament for our Christmas tree. While checking out, I looked over by the ice cream section and spotted the viral chicken wing ice cream that's apparently made in Charleston, South Carolina. I got way too excited because I've seen it all over social media but had never found it in person before, so of course I had to buy it. Thankfully, it did not disappoint. They also have a front patio area where you can sit and enjoy your snacks, plus extra racks of clothing outside if you're souvenir shopping. I get a call at 6:48 pm say yes your script has been transferred, but we close at 7pm.. I said I will right over.. I rush into the CVS at 6:57 and run to the back... It's now 6:58. The lady at the counter says Sir we are closing after this person. But mame you said to get here by 7pm and it's 6:58. Sorry sir she is the late customer. I said I rushed over here from Harbour Town because you said get her by 7pm. "I AM SORRY BUT WE ARE CLOSING AFTER THIS LADY" What are you serious??? it's 6:58, the pharmacy closes at 7pm. It's a fun place with their local series Tshirts and wearables, etc. The food is fresh and awesome! I was noticing today how much better their produce was than the big box store I shopped yesterday! They also didn't have boiled peanuts from a local favorite vendor at the big box store - but they had it here at the piggly wiggly! Did I mention the personal Servce? That differed from the box store too. Yesterday at the big box grocery store - I had a grumpy attendant who made me move lines because she was getting ready to shut her line down. She wasn't pleasant and was sorta rude about it - but at the piggy wiggly we were met with friendly folks all around. I noted that they really have the local feel including a care fund for a local customer who has health issues and also support of a charity event that provides food and health care for underprivileged children. I always prefer locally owned places when I can find them and I'm glad I stopped by - we will be back!
