The pride they take in the community they serve and services is great. They offer things for toddlers, young kids and teens. So amazing to see the enthusiasm and patience the staff has with small children. Great areas for reading, catch up on work, or to use a computer. I'm so happy this library is in our community and thank you to all of those who work to make it happen.

It's been awhile since my last review of the SE Library, so it's time to update my review. But,…read moreagain, full disclosure, as it's a library, it gets five stars. Unless, the employees are mean, all libraries get five stars. So, with that understanding, on to the review! The building, inside and out, is nice, but it is definitely small, when compared to most other area library at least. The downside to the size of this library is that it is hard to find a spot to actually read because this is a rather popular library. Realistically though, you can just take your books home, if there really is not a place to sit and read. But, if you're looking to study, you may want to call ahead to see if they have some kind of study space available or to at least get a feeling for how busy they are that day. And, speaking of studying, this library also has computer stations available. You have to sign up, but it's a pretty quick process. And, along with the size comes a reduced selection as the book selection is not extensive. But, you do not have to worry about wasting your time looking for a particular book because they have an online catalog. However, they do have a rather extensive collection of DVDs, with a few Blu-Rays thrown in as well. Again, if you're looking for something specific, you should call ahead or check out their online catalog. The children's section is separated from the rest of the library, and it even has its own separate computer stations available, just for the kids. I appreciate this type of firewall because it keeps the kids out of my area. And, the staff there is always watching, so you can feel safe taking your kids here. As for the staff, they are warm and courteous. If you need help, they will do whatever they can to make sure you get what you need. And, of course, as with any library, they have community boards (near the front doors) that advertise groups, story times, community events, and the like. It's a quick way to get the rundown on what's going on in our community, and some of the groups are interesting. All in all, I recommend this library if you're in the area. Of course, if you're not, check out YOUR local library. I'm sure it's cool too.

Now onto specifics, this library is tucked away off Greek Oaks, near the dog park and animal center, and has plenty of parking, though on a busy day you might find yourself parked off onto the side. I signed up for a card here, and found the process painless thanks to the friendliness of the staff here. I've also had trouble locating books and again immediately received assistance from the awesome staff. Computers/ work stations/ tables can get crowded, so if you're here to study, you might need to take the walk around a few times to get your ideal spot, and while doing so perhaps pick up a presidential auto-biography...wait, that was me...maybe I also picked up a YA novel. They offer a self checkout, which is quick and easy. and also they have a small coffee machine, it costs a dollar, but hey, perfect study fuel. Computers also offered, and also a children's section of the library. Friendly staff and books/ media galore? Yes please! Great place.

What could be better? Well I will tell you, they also have a genealogy center. Do you need a quiet room for a zoom? They've got you covered. Need to borrow a computer and print out your resume? Got it. They even have a wall dedicated to job hunters, with flyers showing you local businesses who are hiring. But it is not just books, they have the STRANGEST collection of things you can check out. For example, bongos. Yes bongos. Also metal detectors and sewing machines. New to the area and would like to meet people and learn to play mahjong? I believe that is on Thursdays. This is also where I come to perform my civic duty and vote on all things from school boards to presidents. Libraries are an important community resource and their value is immeasurable. They are the original search engines. An entre building offering knowledge, entertainment, and resources. You can do a great service to your community just by signing up for a library card.

I was surprised since the library in Houston all close at 6:00PM. Library is a place where we can being indoor with the AC and a restroom to use if need to. There are plenty of parking space here and there are some steps to go up to the main door and there is a ramp near the handicap parking space. My only complain is there is not enough tree planted area here for some shaded parking space. The first floor is the kids section. and downstairs is the adult section, they have stairs and elevators. There are pretty of chairs and table. There is a puzzle table where anyone can work on the puzzle and that was where we spend our time there. The staff here are very friendly by helping me to pronounce the name of the library was named after properly.

I work from home so anyplace with a cozy seat and free wifi is a good place for me. This library is multi-level with plenty of seating. Computers, printers, resources, tons of community programs and classes. They provide shelter in extreme weather. They provide food for hungry families. I recently learned they have a retro technology lab, so I'm interested in digitizing some old home videos. Being able to do something like that for free is an amazing privilege. Libraries are so important in our communities. Education, support, shelter, resources for all, and especially for those who need it. Support your local library!

It's a great place to visit on sunday or during the week and summer break for your kids,lots things to see and experience from live action chess, an event area that is used for showers , birthdays, weddings meetings they rent this area starting at 75.00 hr ., it even has a prep area to prepare your outside catering. I can't say enough about this place . lots of individual computers to use and a business center print, copy , fax which is cheaper than office depot and other copy stores, they offer a summer reading program, live readings, live concerts , dance classes for adults . outside area is simply amazing can use as picnic area lots of stores in area boutiques, ramen noodles, cookie shop close by. The lighting is just right, the staff is kind, and there's a great selection of books. There are quite a few screens around where you can search for books, and it's pretty easy to find what you're looking for. The aisles are also well indicated, with signs showing what each section contains. Signing up was easy, and getting a library card and checking out some books was a very straightforward process. The only thing I would say is that they don't seem to keep the noise down as much as you'd expect in a library. I'm guessing they're encouraging teenagers to spend more time there, which is great, but it does make the whole experience louder for everyone else. Plenty of free parking outside, too.

I had no idea the classes/programs they offer for free for toddlers Monday thru Thursday! All the classes are in the morning and are interactive. On Friday, there are no classes but the children's area always has a variety of toys out so I was able to take her there to play. They change the toys out daily so it always seems like something new. If you need to wear out a toddler so they're ready to eat and take a nap, this is the place to go! I'm so appreciative of the Euless Library!
