My child absolutely loves attending E3 afterschool. He enjoys that every day is a different theme and is filled with so many activities. I love that the staff are caring and work with him to finish homework and ensure that he stays safe until I am able to come get him. I also appreciate that they host art shows where my child can show me all of his art and projects he's worked on over the term. My child loves learning about new places through E3 (like Egypt and China). His favorite right now is Chinese calligraphy. I often tell other parents how much we like the E3 program. Our daughter does E3 at Eagle Rock Elementary and it has made all the difference in her transition from preschool to kindergarten. ERE is a fantastic school, but the play-based afterschool of E3 lets her bond with her classmates in a way that's different than what's happening in the classroom. Moreover she's socializing with both slightly older and younger kids which is great for her. Would 100% recommend and plan to continue for many years to come. read more

This is our first experience with E3. We have experienced a few after school programs and this has been by far the best. Our twins come home and talk about what they learned in class then spend just as much time sharing what they learned after school. The day they came home with geodes that they made sealed the deal. Our oldest daughter then took them outside and they cracked open a real geode together. It was such a great experience. We love E3! My 3rd grader and kindergartner have done after school with E3 at Micheltorena ever since they were in 1st grade and TK respectively, and we've had such a wonderful experience. It's always been a safe space for both of my kids, and all of the teachers are so kind, patient, and creative. The owner Mary Peralta was incredibly rude and discriminatory towards my self and my 6 yr old when I was attempting to enroll her for the after school program at Kester Elementary. I am blown away by the unprofessionalism of this office. There is a prejudice against children and families of CCRC (childcare assistance programs) and I was told in so many words that my daughter would be waitlisted because they have dealt with CCRC families and not received payment. Aside from the context of the conversation she clearly doesnt know how to conduct herself as a professional or work under pressure. Running a business you would think a person would have more self control and not yell at people over the phone . She and her staff need to be educated on business etiquette. I have been a CCRC recipient for 5 years and never had any childcare nor private school complaints about not receiving payment. I have filed a complaint directly Kester, LAUSD Leasing and the Board of Education. This is not the way families deserve to be treated. read more

My son participated in the afterschool program. They have an awesome program. Right afterschool they have an activity where they teach them chess. The chess changes on a monthly basis to other activities. Then afterwards they have homework time where the kids did the homework and they checked it and then kids play and/or color. My son usually hates programs like this but he loved this one and looked forward to it. I would do it again next year. read more

Incompetent uncaring staff summarized my experience with E3. First year, dismissed some mishaps as an oversight and decided to give them a second chance; and partly due to lack of choice for an on campus service, I enrolled my children again for the second year. What a mistake! It's one thing for them to slack, it's another thing when there's no integrity and responsibility in handling their shortcoming. PLEASE AVOID and seek other options. My children have attended E3 since kindergarten (they are now entering Jr High) I have never been more pleased with an after school company like this one! From the fun, innovative classes and projects, to the time and care they give with homework help, my children had the best time. When i picked them up early, they begged to stay longer. The staff were great. Caring, and communicative, couldn't ask for much more. I highly encourage all families who are fortunate enough to have Enrichment Educational Experiences at their school, to send your kids! They will learn so much and enjoy every minute. The most uncaring administrative staff, They terminate my 5 year old afterschool program very abruptly and without any adequate warning because we picked her up 9 minutes late (due to heavy traffic in Los angeles) , and although they charged us $3/minutes . In addition they even calculate the late minutes wrong and charged us 5 minutes more than actual time, My 5 year old had made some friends and make relationship with the teachers and staff in her afterschool program and they don't care about all the emotional damages that they made my daughter suffer ; They try to punish the parents with hurting my kid's emotions, no sympathy and caring, if I hire a dog sitter I am pretty sure I could expect more caring attitude toward my kid . They are all about collecting money and their handbook and rules , they have no idea they deal with the most fragile creatures named children. read more

The director Judy Aquino and the owner Nancy Simpson were very rude to me. They were very unprofessional and very discriminative. I had a issue and they basically told me okay whatever what do we do next. This is suppose to be two women that should have compassionate for people and they have demonstrated the total opposite. My son was attending there for 1 year and I regret he had to be apart of such hateful individuals. The other staff was very professional it was these two ladies that blew any issue I had away. Judy actually stated to me "Whatever" after I told her that she told me one thing and then said something totally different. Needless to say my son will not be attending this after school program ever again. Because I send my child to learn and if these are the ladies that are in charge that really scares me. read more
