I was shocked at the defensiveness of your employee! She wanted to shirk any responsibility. While DoorDash should ultimately be responsible pointed out that being aware of the issue which your employee was and stated if I wanted to get it there that I should have used your website that your company is still part of the problem by using DoorDash. Please note that I went off ratings here at yelp to determine a florist. I first found your shop and found it could be delivered through DoorDash. My question still remains how do you send personalized card when not given any info? Had I known that I would have picked them up and delivered myself. I felt you needed to know the problem in using a third party. Then for you to claim that this a first is laughable. I was informed this happens all the time from the hospital staff. I however apologize for my assumption that I thought I was speaking with the owner and noted it as such in my review and was instead speaking to your employee. I did say that I was going to write a review as my recourse so others can be aware of using DoorDash to get flowers to a recipient at a hospital since your employee noted there are no concerns in using DoorDash.

I really loved the floral designs I saw on their website and working with them over the phone went smoothly. I have them my budget and requested flowers in the orange hues if at all possible. I wasn't picky about the type of flowers, I wanted a spring loose bouquet. Although I wasn't notified that flowers in those colors weren't available for my delivery date, the flowers sent were gorgeous, healthy and well designed. The recipient loved them and said they lasted so long! If I need flowers delivered again in the Sandy, Utah area, I will definitely use The Vintage Violet again.

This new place is huge, everything is spaced out well, and the place is well-lit so it's easy to see all the wonderful merchandise. The service I received was terrific. I was there to inquire about lighting for my patio, since they carry really lovely custom lights that lend a romantic feel to any garden space. They were able to answer all my questions, and provided me with helpful tips and suggestions. While Modern Display's new store has only been open for four days now, you wouldn't know it! They're already well stocked with classy and fun Halloween, Autumn Harvest, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and other Winter decor. As part of their grand reopening, they were advertising all Fall and Halloween merchandise at 25% off, and it's ridiculously cute stuff! Staff pointed out that the Christmas/Holiday trees aren't decorated yet. No worries, that just means I get to have an excuse to come back n' see! Ranunculus and scabiosa are the flowers I think. The picture I'm including in my review is of the arrangement 9 days after I picked it up. The flowers are still fragrant! These were beautiful, although the roses were fully bloomed, even slightly wilted, and looked like they might have only a few days of life left in them. When my wife came home and saw the arrangement, she was disappointed. She said that it did not match the picture that was online, even though she had paid extra to ensure that it would match. The online description and picture included lilies, (my favorite-which is why she selected that arrangement) mine had none. So she contacted the business with her concern and was given a store credit for a future purchase. We appreciated the gesture, but will take into account that what we see online may not match the finished product. It was also disappointing that she had placed a same-day order, but they were not delivered until the next afternoon. They did try to make it right, and we will give them another try.
