Prior to becoming a patient I was sick all the time, as the seasons changed it seemed to get worst…read more At that point I was sick and tired of being sick. That's when I discovered the Asthma Center. They did extensive testing and determined my individualized treat plan and after several months I could tell I was on the right path. Dr. Goldstein is an exceptional doctor and his staff is awesome. I have been a patient for over five years now and i literally think they saved my life. I am forever grateful to The Asthma Center and what they have done for me, thanks to Dr. Goldstein and his exceptional staff. Phyllis J.

I've been a patient here over the course of a year. While every past visit has been good (friendly,…read moreno waiting time, and informative), this last visit infuriated me. Apparently, this office doesn't recognize what an "appointment" means. I couldn't help but think of that one Seinfeld episode. I took time off from my job, only to be seen 70 minutes late, then to be put in the room and wait an additional 10-15 minutes. Only to hear the doctor speak for 5 minutes, write a script, and try to push the C19 & Flu vaccine. No thank you. Upon being seen, you immediately wanted my copay. You said it's $30. In which, prior to the new year, I only paid $15. You asked if this was a new card or an old card because your computer showed $15. I knew exactly what you were getting at. You wanted to make sure that I didn't owe for past office staff errors. Let me be clear, patients aren't responsible for financial errors made by the office staff. This would never hold up in court. It doesn't matter which field you are in. Ultimately, it falls back on the employer, to which, he/she would fire the employee for making such a mistake. You also handed me an updated "fees" policy to which you must sign. No patient wants to be obligated to pay out-of-pocket for something that isn't covered. Only to find out after you have the "service" done. You should have a list of everything that isn't covered based on the insurance that you accept. Make your policies transparent. And, BTW, the mask mandate is for Health Care Officials/Workers ONLY. Not the patients. People with underlying conditions, like Asthma, shouldn't be wearing a mask. Otherwise, you're on grounds to be sued. This was stated in the original NJ executive order, in which the updated EO's referenced. The EO's have always been 5-6 pages long but no one ever reads them. They only do what their told.

I was originally seen at The Asthma Center's Center City location because I was having some issues…read morewith dryness around my eyes and other allergy symptoms. After speaking with a few friends in the medical field as well as some colleagues at work who suffer from allergies, the majority told me to go to The Asthma Center. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly and I was able to schedule an appointment with ease. My first visit consisted of a detailed interview with a nurse asking about my day-to-day routine, living and work conditions, past medical history, current medications/medical issues, etc. She was very detailed and also very friendly. I was given a breathing test initially, and then administered an allergy test on my skin. Dr. Goldstein reviewed the results with me and did an exam. He wanted me to get a test related to asthma, which took approximately an hour. At this point I saw about 5-7 different members of the medical staff and every single person was extremely nice, explained everything that was going on, and very thorough. After the asthma test was complete, Dr. Goldstein then did a more thorough exam of my ears and throat using a light. He reviewed the final results of the asthma testing and went back over the results of the other tests done prior to the final exam. He suggested I begin weekly injections which would greatly relieve my allergy and asthma symptoms. I agreed and started injections the following week. Since starting the injections about 8 months ago, I can absolutely tell a difference. My allergy symptoms are almost non-existent because of the injections and medications prescribed by Dr. Goldstein. I've also been seen by one other doctor (Dr. Dossumbekova) and the nurse practitioner (Melissa Gross), and both were incredible. Again, they were extremely thorough and attentive with my concerns. I couldn't be more satisfied with The Asthma Center and have referred several of my colleagues and friends to get allergy tested. If you have any medical issues associated with allergies, sinuses, asthma, and/or immunology, this is the ONLY place you should be seen!

I WAS SHOCKED THAT ANYONE WOULD SAY SOMETHING LIKE THIS. The " Office Manager that I spoke to was extremely rude. I told her that I did not receive any paperwork, could not afford this co-pay and would call her the next day to confirm the appointment. Due to her rudeness, never finding any paperwork, NOT BEING ABLE TO AFFORD SUCH AN EXORBITANT CO-PAY and feeling that being told a business didn't want to send me to collections, I did not return a call to confirm an appointment. Today, just prior to the appointment, I was called by the, " Office Manager" and asked if I was coming to the appointment. I told her no, and explained the aforementioned. At that time, she told me that I would be charged 75.00 for a missed appointment. She also said that she told me this the previous day. She did not. Also, I never received, or returned any paperwork from them and had no idea of any specific policies. At no time did I confirm an appointment. While I was talking to her about being rude, she hung up on me. When I called back another office personnel sided with her and said, I don't think she was being rude to you. Your appointment will be cancelled, but you will be charged 75.00." Both of them were grossly rude. No one should ever speak to a customer in the manner that both of them spoke to me. I have NEVER been spoken to like this in all of my 64 years on earth. BY ALL MEANS, DO NOT PATRONIZE A BUSINESS LIKE THIS!!
