I have been getting my ENT needs taken care of by this medical professional office for over four years now and they are excellent to me.

They are a chain. I went to one in Scottsdale AZ. I said "this is the desert what could I possibly be allergic to?" They did the tests with the needles in your back and I proceeded to get 4 shots a week, 3 times a week in each arm for 1 1/2 years and NO IMPROVEMENT. I kept asking when will I notice a difference and they said..SOON. Finally I confronted them with what was going on and they said..OH YOU JUST NEED NASAL SPRAY. Can you believe this? read more

I truly liked doctor Skripak, he showed patience and clearly read my medical history. He was efficient and caring and gave me good advice on how to deal with my allergies. Dr. Abramowitz is also a good ENT who gave me an alternative way to deal with my allergies and it's been working. I'm glad I found this office. read more

Although the person at the front desk was trying to help us she needed the assistance of her office manager with coverage verification. The office manager was very abrupt and flat out refused to help. Since she refused to do what Medicare requires of providers, which is to call the Medicare provider coverage verification phone number if the provider system is not showing the correct coverage , we could not be seen nor would we want to be a patient here! If I could give them zero stars I would. My son had an appointment with them and they never told me I needed a referral or I should say a proper referral because his physician did write referral on a prescription. They refused to call the physicians office and ask them to fax it over. The front desk. Person was very, very rude and not helpful at all. She did not want to do any extra work that would require her to use some of her energy. I would suggest you save your time and not go there. Had an appointment a few months back, front office was almost bothered that I was early for my appointment. Doctor did as little as possible. Did not bill my insurance properly and did not provide the specifics for billing. Insurance rejected claim. Instead of the billing department making the correction just sent the Statement to me again and again even after asking them to resubmit. Today paid the balance of $278.40 Will never return and will not recommend them to anyone ever!!! read more

We left the office because proper care was not provided to us by the doctor. Questions not answered appropriately, care not adequate but doctor still had attitude. I have been a caretaker for many years and value good medical care and compassionate treatment. IMO Patient care is not the priority here. We moved on from Dr. Jason Abramowitz to appropriate care. First time visit to Dr leventhal for dizziness . Dr spent 5 min. with me examining me and said I had a hair from a recent hair cut in my ear and proceeded to remove it with a tweezer . The doctor said that this might be my problem ,It was not. After a couple of weeks I called to make another appointment because I still had the problem. During the time I got the bill $200 for the examine and $300 for removing the hair from my ear. This doctor expects to get $100 per minute. I will filling complaints with my insurance company and cancelled my appointment with his office. I have two insurance policies and the office was not happy with the amount they gave they also billed me additional fees. Avoid this office at all cost unless you enjoy being ripped off. Tried talking to there office if this was a mistake so far not call back. read more

I had been using this practice for many years to treat my chronic sinusitis. The problem was handled with injections fairly successfully. Recently I was tested by audiologists for inner ear issues. While the results were very difficult, the audiologists were helpful and helped me get through them successfully. I had an appointment to discuss the results with one of the physicians right afterwards. Thankfully, I had the appointment cards for proof as I was told by the office manager, that I no longer had that appointment and would have to wait another week for an appointment. As I was very weak as the tests and and preparation for them were extremely difficult and took their toll on my body. So my son spoke with the manager, who kept changing her excuses for why the appointment was canceled and wasn't told about it beforehand. The whole situation became contentious, and I left the office feeling frustrated , exhausted, stressed, and physically I'll. In fact, the day after, I had to go to the hospital. I will never use their services again, and I recommend that potential patients do their homework before considering using this "medical facility. read more

I have been going to ENT ALLERGY FOR YEARS, BUT, TODAY, the Audiologist really wasn't interested in helping me. I tried to explain the problem i have trying to replace the white piece in the middle of my hearing aid. She used one of hers, and told me there isn't much more she can do, because my hearing aids are old. not try to do it, and see if you have a problem?-no. The Doctors & staff behind closed doors are wonderful, friendly and very professional. Unfortunately first impressions are with the 3 women that check you in. Horribly Unfriendly, no eye contact what so ever. Ignoring you while your standing there. It's hit or miss who will acknowledge you first. I feel like yelling out to them HELLO? I would look like a bitch if I did, because they are that clueless that they are so rude, so I just deal with their miserable faces while I wait until the friendly people behind the closed door calls my name. lol oh well. Unfriendly receptionists, waiting room is always jam packed because they clearly over book, doctors are always running late and the actual visit with the doctor disappoints- constantly walking away with the need to get a second opinion. I have been a patient at the oradel location for a number of years and have been very pleased with every encounter. MY ears were damanged when my tonsiles were removed at age 19 and I am now 75 uears old and still having problems . My doctor was Robert Cusamono who has recently retired which makes me very sad since he was just wonderful but I will contnue in this office since everyone here is very nice and it is not easy to find a ear doctor who is both extremely intelligent and compasionate which the doctors in this location are. read more

The wait room is a chaotic mess. They treat you like cattle. It looks like a chop shop built to ring the register with appointments every 20 minutes. Line 'em up and knock 'em down. The website reveals a fast food franchise model. I should have done more research and am not surprised to see all the negative reviews. Looks like much hasn't changed as far as the front office staff....completely rude, unprofessional, and snarky. I even said thank you after checking in with them, and received NO response. BEWARE!!!! You better ask what the fees are, total rip off!! The staff is extremely rude from when you walk in. Took forever for the doctor to come in, and I came in for a check up as I had some pain in my throat. To my surprise part of the check up a 10second Laryngoscopy which is basically sticking a tube up the nose to look through in your throat is NOT part of the check up and they charged me $290!! On top of $200 check up!! Nobody informed me of the the extra fee, I am surprised they didn't charge me to sit in their chair. It is disgusting how they just stick you with all the fees and don't even mention anything, how is that even allowed? Unbelievable, very unprofessional and when I called the lady on the phone she told me it's like going to the supermarket each item has a fee!!! My doctor referred me here after a lump was found on the side on my neck, towards my chin area. I was very nervous considering I had never been to a specialist of any kind before. But, since a family friend works at my doctor's office and okayed this place - I went ahead and booked the appointment. The appointment was super easy to make. I went on their website, requested an appointment time and recieved a phone call in a matter of minutes where they confirmed for me. I went in and the place is very well kept. Waiting room is clean and open and the front desk staff was friendly. They ran my information quickly and was seated in minutes. Wait time wasn't long. They took me in and I mentioned the lump and how I hadn't had my ears checked in awhile - the nurse took me right to the audiologist to have me checked! Fantastic. Doctor came in afterwards in reguards to the lump on my neck and was wonderful! He was very polite and great bed-side manner. He took the time to move slowely and explain to me every little thing they were doing. If he thought I didn't understand something he broke it down more so I could. I could not ask for a better doctor. From there I had to report to Mount Sinai. But ENT didn't stop helping me just because I had to go somewhere else. I was having insurance problems and the folks at ENT were super, SUPER helpful. Theresa, the doctor's assistant took care of it all for me to make sure I was squared away before my appointment at Mount Sinai since it would involve surgery and we didn't know if my insurance covered it. I doubt this was her job title - but she called me daily to make sure everything worked out. I highly, HIGHLY reccomend this place to anyone in the area that needs an ENT! read more

I had left a previous review while sitting in the waiting room on how displeased I was with the wait time, within 10 minutes of leaving the review, Nora, from the patient relations team came over to me to express her concern about the review. She was genuine and sincere in her apology and made sure my issue was addressed. They are lucky to have her on their team. We saw Dr. Surow, he was knowledgeable and thorough with his exam (for my daughter who may need tubes) and took his time to explain things (hence one reason for long wait times) our next appointment I made sure to book as early as possible to avoid another camp out in the waiting room. read more

Dr. Huang entered the examining room and from that moment I actually felt that a connection was in the making. He was pleasant, friendly, smiled easily, and was attentive to my concerns. There was an air of confidence as he gently, carefully, and thoroughly continued with an examination. His explanation of what he observed was clear and was supplemented with charts hanging in the room. The sense of professionalism was apparent. At the conclusion of my visit, I felt very fortunate to have had my first appointment with him! Should I need visits in the future, Dr. Huang will be my doctor of choice! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, took my 16 year old daughter for a scoping of her throat, it was done through her nose and when she told Dr. Surow she could not "do this" and "was going to faint" he did NOTHING just sat there. Had he taken the correct medical action for a vasovagal response to an object being inserted in a patients nose and SIMPLY layed her back in the chair and called for assistance, my daughter would not have ended up in the ER with 32 stitches in her forehead and in her upper lip, she would not have missed her ACT testing which took place the next day, she would not now have PTSD as a result of this experience and she would not require further surgery on her lip. The office did NOTHING, not a call to follow up, not to check in on my daughter, NOTHING. The doctor sent a self serving CMA letter totally misstating the facts about what he did NOT do. DO NOT GO HERE EVER, RUN don't walk. The only thing they did was tell me they would not charge me for the office visit while my daughter was being taken out on a stretcher to an ambulance... read more

Doctor ( Dr. L) does not bill correctly based on amount of time actual seen with patient and seems based on past reviews, it is true that they will not do a proper insurance check for procedures and will do a nasal endoscopy considered diagnostic and leave the patients with a $766 bill. Attempted to get the bill reduced to a typical contract rate/fee based on their contract rates with insurance panels that accept the CPT code associated with nasal endoscopy and billing department said they can bill $766 because the claim was not paid by my insurance. I don't enjoy working with providers and companies who clearly put business profits over health care needs especially when working with insurance panels. Dr L should have done what is called "best practice" and should have called the insurance provider and ask about benefits. If this doctor, in this company, cannot provide "best practice" for insurance coverage, then it clearly does not provide me with any faith in their expertise or knowledge based on their unethical practices. I do not recommend this practice solely on concerns of their for profit mentality and poor customer service department. read more

I was in need of an allergist asap. I was able to get an appointment easily with Dr. Skripak. I had several allergy tests done and was at the office about 6 times. These are my observations: Front office staff does not want to be bothered with you. Complete an electronic clipboard and pay using the clipboard. Most of the first people you encounter at the desk do not look happy to be there. It's not a welcoming environment. The staff that does the testing are very friendly and nice! They explain everything to you. Love them. Dr Skripak. Other than read test results I am not sure what he does. He was of no help. He's peasant, but stand offish. Seems like a clock-in and clock-out kind of doctor. I got better answers without testing from my regular ent elsewhere. I did have to push to get more advance testing done. Be persistent. Also this doctor's office requires all out of network balances to be paid that next visit without notice. Again, they just give you a clipboard and tell you to complete it and then pay the $1100 from your first two visits. read more

I saw all the negative reviews & was concerned about what to expect on my initial visit. I had been to the ER because I had a bad nose bleed & they recommended I see an ENT specialist. I saw Dr. Leventhal. Since I didn't know anyone at Ent & Allergy I went to the Oradell facility which is the most convenient. Everyone I interfaced with was personable, polite & professional. From Dr. Leventhal on down I can't say anything negative about my visit. read more

I have been a patient of ENT allergy associates (Oradell Location) for several years. My daughter has also come to this same practice for almost two years. The doctors and nurses are compassionate and provide excellent medical care ;I feel all my concerns are addressed. With regard to the wait time- I expect to wait to see a top rated specialist and so I come prepared since the wait time is slightly longer than any other doctors office. It is because of the aforementioned that Both myself and my daughter continue to come to see the specialists. With regard to the receptionists- their attitude, and lack of knowledge when completing insurance information makes the experience so unpleasant that I am taking the time to write this. My recent visit today was a follow up from two weeks ago. I needed to fill out the information on the tablet again which shouldn't need to happen. However in reviewing the insurance information, it somehow changed since two weeks ago. When I asked the receptionist , I promptly received a flippant attitude and a request for a co payment that is not correct. To avoid any issues I complied but now will need to follow up with my insurance. read more

I have used ENT allergy in the past and was very disappointed that they no longer accept Health Emblem - GHI PPO. These facilities are all over NJ and NY (Rockland county) which have teachers, police officers, firefighters who are city employees and live in the area. Sad to say for my appointment to my regret I have to travel to the city to be seen. Your such a broad company you reconsider what you accept for insurances. read more

Definitely one of the best practices in the area. Dr. Huang removed my tonsils in 2007, and, a aside from sadness over saying goodbye to my favorite vestigial organ, I couldn't have been happier with my before, during and after care. I am currently here as we speak. The staff is horrible. Well I Can only speak for one person as ofright now which I am about to go and complain to the doctor. The employe's name is Sean and he is super rude. He argued with me over registering about why I missed the option to edit insurance information as if I did it on purpose. I have a sick 9 month old baby and he just has no type of compassion and he is treating me as if I'm a type of moron. They already have my insurance on file and the office iPad had the wrong insurance listed information so he basically got mad because I didn't edit it. Well I didn't edit it because I didn't see it. Be very cautious when explaining what type of insurance you have , the person making your appt says one thing, ok arrive for my appointment , person behind the desk says another! 2 weeks later bill comes in the mail for 700.00 called mgr was told they do except Omni bcbs but only participate in tier 2 not tier 1 , they have been very misleading and on top of it all still sick , and the manger wants me to come back for a recheck, at 700 . 00 I don't think so !
