They neglected to submit to my health insurer the claim for my hearing aid reimbursement for more than three months. It's not a trivial sum of money; the reimbursement my health insurer offers is worth thousands of dollars. I spoke to the office a week ago and was promised that I would hear from the office manager, Anna, that day. I never did. Ever since day my calls have been diverted to the answering service. I asked the service to let Dr. Aretsky know that I have to speak to him urgently, but have heard nothing from anybody. My insurance company tells me that the time for processing my claim expires soon, so I may lose the reimbursement which I am entitled to, and which the Hearing Center assured me before I ordered the hearing aid that I would get. It looks like the only avenue open to me now is an office visit and a scene there.
