I finally got an appointment for my daughter to get a routine dental check up. I got greeted in Spanish, which I'm not fluent in. I already got a dirty look for that. The lady proceeded to tell me that I needed my daughter's birth certificate to "confirm her identity" (which mind you, was not told to me over the phone making the appointment.) and she looked at me as if I was stupid for not knowing it was needed. Then she checked out my ID and my daughter's dental card, said in a judgmental tone, "you don't have the same last name." For one, how is that relevant? And for two, who are you to judge that? Anyways, since I didn't have the birth certificate I had to reschedule for a date over 2 weeks away. There's plenty of parking specially if you're coming after school hours. I can usually get an appointment here within a few days to a week out. There's a specific door for Eric B. chandler patients and you have to go through a metal detector and get checked in by a security person but other than that it's relatively painless and totally understandable specially with all the high school shootings that have been in the news lately.
