I rarely leave reviews, especially negative ones, but this scenario was completely avoidable. First off, I cannot comment on their medical care, as I never got to make the experience. The issue started when making the initial appointment. During the conversation it became apparent that he had my phone number wrong. I advised him of the mistake and gave him the correct number. I called back the next day, because I had a conflict off appointment. The (different) call taker offered a new appointment, which I declined due to being too late. She offered a new one, which I accepted. Upon arrival at the appointment, (which I had written down as I always do), I was informed that I came at the wrong time, which was the first appointment time the second call taker had given me. The front desk person further advised that they had attempted to leave a message to confirm the appointment, but the phone kept ringing. I asked for the phone number called, and of course they still had the uncorrected version from the first call taker. The Front office staff was professional and courteous, but unable to find a provider to squeeze me in the schedule. I advised them to remove my name out of their database because I would not return. I wasted almost two hours in travel times, gas and tolls to make this visit. This all occurred due to utter incompetence of the Office appointment setters. Shame on you for hiring low level staffing at this important level of the relationship. It is unfortunate that this is the outcome of an attempt to establish a relationship with an ENT office. You came recommended and I had high hopes that you would be able to take care of my issues. read more

Very difficult to reach and make an appointment. Very difficult to talk to real person to make an appointment -- could be up to 24 hours before they call you back. They don't even promise same day call back. When I arrive, I have often had to wait up to an hour to be seen. read more

Dr Stevens has a very welcoming and warm demeanor. He answered all my questions and engaged my child in a playful way so the visit was fun for my child. Staff was friendly, professional, and prompt. read more

Was referred from my primary. The office called to schedule appointment. First question from them, what's your SS#. I asked why they needed this, was told office policy. I told them they don't need that information and when would they be scheduling my appointment. Again she asked for my SS#. I told her, not giving that info as they didn't need it. Scammers. Stay away! First, they take my insurance get me ready for my appointment and don't bother to mention that they don't accept my insurance. Second after at most 5 minutes with the doctor, I leave and they tell me I owe $300. Paid the $300 then they mail me a bill for $500 more on-top saying that something went wrong with the insurance. Charged me for a code that states a 60min session with the doctor upon other codes that clearly didn't happen. Was there for 5 minutes Scammers milking the system. Go any where else!! read more

Terrible office experience. I arrived at 3PM for my 3PM appointment & was told that as a new patient I should have been there at 2:30. I responded that if I needed to be here at 2:30 I should have been told that ahead of time. The clerk insisted that I was told that when I made my appointment, which I was not. I was told quite arrogantly that the doctor will see me, but I'd have to wait until 4PM or make another appointment & come back. I'd already traveled 1/2 hour to this appointment so I decided I'd wait, hoping that this was an idle threat. I was given a stack of paperwork to complete, which included a space for my Social Security number, which I left blank. At about 3:50 I was called back up to registration window & asked for my Social Security number, which I declined to give, having already had my Social Security number discovered on the dark web. I asked why they need my Social Security number, since I've never given to a medical office before. I was told they needed to verify my identity. I'd already given them my photo driver license & insurance cards; they didn't need my Social Security number. Doug the office administrator said it is the policy of the practice & if I would not provide it, I can go find another practice. He was not rude, just very arrogant. I took back all the paperwork I'd completed & asked that they please delete copies of my photo driver license & insurance cards they had scanned. So I never got to see the doctor, but based on the treatment by their office staff, I'd avoid this practice. Probably great physicians if thier staff would let you have an appointment. Had a referral from an eye physician, but staff refused to schedule an appointment without a Primary Dr. Referral, because we have an HMO. Even though our HMO is an open plan, just like a PPO. We do not have a primary. They said they would not provide care with out a primary referral. Office staff informed me, they would be in trouble with office manager if they scheduled an appointment. For no reason at all, since we have an open plan and can see any specialist at will. Really shows how low patient are viewed in this practice. read more

This is one of the most disorganized unprofessional offices I have ever been in!! They are in network with my insurance which both my own insurance and they told me. I went to them very clear telling them I need a tonsillectomy and never told me or clarified to me neither of their surgical centers cover the insurance they are in network with! They screwed me over $200 in co payments and time wasted with absolutely no compensation. Super unprofessional and I will never recommend this office to anyone with united healthcare read more

Last week I was exactly 5 mins. late too a follow up appointment with Dr. Holrbeck, an ENT, in Ft Myers, Fl. At the first appointment, I wxaited 40 min to begin the appointment. This time I was informed by a very snippy receptionist that I since I was late ( keep in mind it was 5 min), I would need to reschedule. Initially, I walked out of the office, after remarking that I would not be returning and would be leaving a poor review. I rethought my exist, returned to the snippy receptionist and started I would like to speak to the doctor. I felt the doctor should know how poorly his office workers treated his patients. When I did speak with the ENT, he assured me that he would address the concern with the receptionist. Today, when I called the office, to question why I had not gotten a call from their office yesterday to address a test scheduling, the snippy receptionist answered the phone, " Hello, this is Taylor". Really, answering a doctor office phone without identifying that they represented a doctor office! I am a retired speech pathologist. During my 37 years of dealing with audiologist and ENTs, never have I experienced such unprofessional, rude office workers and sloppy audiological exam. I was very hesitant going here after reading reviews, but to my surprise everyone was amazing! The office is clean and the front desk lady was very pleasant. The doctor who cleaned out my ears was super kind and funny and made sure I was comfortable. Everyone made sure I was informed and comfortable. Highly recommend! read more

Do not go to these doctors. It is a complete rip off. They pre charge for service at 300.00 then credit you back difference for those with insurance, Took 6 min to say nothing was wrong and still charged 232.00 credit. They are clearly there to serve Medicaid recipients and milk the system. They need to be investigated for Medicare/Medicaid fraud. read more

I had the absolute worst experience at this office. Dr Pfannenstiel and his office manager only care about the bottom line. I was misdiagnosed by him, and my condition was out of his area of expertise. Instead of a referral ( because he just wanted his co-pay) he kept me coming in for numerous visits and suggested I take allergy pills. When going to another Dr. I was diagnosed with a chronic issue that wouldn't have gotten any better and given a treatment course of antibiotics and steroids. When something isn't right and you're not getting better go elsewhere. In my opinion, do not waste your money here! especially when they are rude and condescending. read more

Unfortunately I did not get to see Dr. Pham. They took my social security number as a way to track me should I not pay my bill. I know this is a bad idea and it is discouraged with identity fraud on the rise. They have now lost my social. I would not give it again so they refused me as a patient. Most Drs offices will not ask for a SSN number. This makes collections easier for them but is a major risk for identity theft. The majority of data breaches occur in medical/hospital facilities. If you value your identity, please do not give them this info and certainly don't allow them to write it on a piece of paper. Even Medicare has rolled out an ID without your SSN on it now. Even the American medical association (AMA) discourages it's use and it is the largest association of physicians in the world. Know your rights. You do not have to give this info. They can collect without it. They are not required to see you but someone who cares about your identity will. read more

Pick your nose, before picking ths medical provider! There are a lot of doctors in Fort Myers. The staff is awful, rude, and very unprofessional. They do not care about their patients only themselves. This review is regarding Ear Nose & Throat Associates on Commerce Center Court Ft. Myers. I have not been to this practice, and choose not to go after my interaction with the staff while trying to schedule an appointment. The office would not schedule an appointment unless I game them my social security number. Medicare is currently in the process of changing all of the medicare numbers so that they do not reflect Medicare numbers. Look at Consumer Report recommendations....I choose to select another physician because of this requirement by Ear Nose & Throat Associates. read more
