Great doctor! Really listens to your concerns! No waiting/ really well run office! Not terribly hard to get appointments.

As a current patient of Dr Steven Bello I showed up for my appointment 15 minutes early. I had answered several text message reminders with a "yes" I would be there. At the reception counter I was informed Dr Bello had a "medical emergency" today and that I had received a voice mail of this fact one day earlier at 9am. I replied no voice message had been received and also showed her a 7pm reminder text of my appointment from that very previous night. Receptionist then doubled-down on the lie about the a voice message and dismissed the 7pm robo-call as irrelevant. Unprofessional treatment of this sort by a medical professional is never expected. But it is a good reason to fire them. Good luck if you stay with this office. read more

Dr Bello is a delightful, caring and well qualified doctor. I have been going to him for several years for ENT problems and he always identified my problems and cured them very quickly. Over the years he preformed surgery for a deviated septum, sinusitis and even took my teenage daughter's tonsils out. I can't recommend him highly enough ! read more

Sorry, I wrote the last review and I'm not done. Not only did I pay him out of pocket but I also racked up over 8,000.00 in ER bills. I can not afford to pay these bills. I'm now in massive debt. When I told him on my second appointment that, please, I just want to feel better, his reply was, "I bet". This man absolutely refused to help me. I am so very angry at all of it. I needed a ENT (ears nose throat ). I was recommended to Dr. Bello from one of his clients and they also take my insurance. My first visit I came for him to check my ears for heavy wax because I could not hear anything with clearity. No wax, off next door to the hearing test office. Then back to the Dr's. office for him to tell me I am in need of hearing aids. Great. Back to the other office and I pick out my hearing aids in pearl white. I kind of like the color. That was my first visit. The second visit was a follow up and I complained my ears were itching something fierce. He told met stop using Q tips and apply an ointment. Since I know more than the Dr. I did not stop using Q tips and never used the ointment. The third visit once again ears are itching and I feel miserable. He asked me if I used the ointment. Err uh no well I mean I thought about it. That should have counted. He was ready to write a new prescription for me and I asked him how long does the cream last he told me over two years is the shelf life. Uh um I don't think I need a prescription... I am now in my 10 pain and itch free day since I used the ointment. Dang I hate it when I am wrong and the Dr knows more than me. :) read more

As a first time patient, I had a 4pm appointment with Dr. Bello. After waiting nearly an hour past my appointment time, none of the staff had attempted to communicate to me or apologize for the long wait. Another lady, with a 4:15 appointment, left without being seen -- she left very frustrated. I finally went up to the receptionist to let her know I wasn't willing to stay any longer. An important note -- The waiting room was empty, so it wouldn't have been difficult to come out and acknowledge they were running an hour late. They simply chose not to make the effort. The staff appear to be indifferent at best. If you don't respect people's time, at least try to act like you do. read more

I came to Dr. Bello for a first visit for ongoing throat aches and a lingering cough for well over a year, and a touch of ear ache and sinus....a mix of everything. My first impression of Dr. Bello was very impressive: he was kind, and a wonderful, caring man and had a very warm bedside manner. I was pleased with his professionalism and knowledge and efficiency. I have been to the urgent care four times in 4 months and no change.....one visit and he has me on a 2 week program to start.......with a few different meds, no more antibiotic, no steroids........just a plan to see how it works after 2 weeks, then we move to next step. In four days, I have no symptoms.......I am thrilled with him. I'm looking forward to my next appointment...for the followup. Horrendous and unethical business practice. Went to the doctor three times, not once in my three visits was I ask if my insurance had changed. Billing department knowingly completely and intentionally misrepresented my coverage, stating they had verified my in network status & even verified & consequently charged the normal $10 co-payment, all the while knowing I wasn't in network, ALL THE WAY UP UNTIL THE FOURTH VISIT WHEN THEY COULD NO LONGER CONTINUE THE ILLEGAL AND UNETHICAL BILLING PATRAS CHARADE, SUDDENLY TELLING ME I OWED OVER $500 BECAUSE I WASN'T IN NETWORK!!! Modern day medical billing fraud!!! It's very unfortunate, I've been to this doctor for years, will ever go back. as a result of their bad business practice, malfeasance & numerous harassing phone calls. Billing person Jenny was incredibly & unprofessional. I'm always shocked when I encounter unscrupulous and unethical business practices. Reference the letter, leave it up to a government agency to be completely useless and responding to and enforcing patients rights, even when it comes to doctor to patient harassment & billing abuses!!! read more
