The Office Manager is a true gentleman who deeply cares and takes pride in his work and will go the extra distance to accommodate patients. He's truly a great individual. Front end office staff is caring, compassionate and efficient. Audiologist and Nursing staff are incredibly caring, kind and take the time to listen to patients in a nonjudgmental way. Nonetheless, the "Rock Star" of this operation is Otolaryngologist - Christopher L. Tebbit, MD. Dr. Tebbit is truly exceptional and has a bedside manner of the highest level. Dr. Tebbit is energetic, positive and takes pride in his craft. I can't say enough positive things about this medical professional. I would trust him to care for my very own patients for my family. Dr. Tebbit is backed up by a team of ENT Nurses and Support Staff that share his mantra of providing high quality and compassionate ENT care. After all, G-d only gave you two ears. I was having an urgent medical issue, and he made time to work me into his schedule as a first time patient to try to see if he could assist. He listened and offered great suggestions. He also connected with another specialist to see if they could also try to help and followed up with me. This was over and beyond anything I anticipated, and certainly not anything he was obligated to do. I was very grateful for the time he made to see me and the effort he put forth to try to help me feel better. It was a welcomed switch from the hurried office visits you can sometimes experience with other providers these days. They ask the probing questions to get to the bottom of the situation that brings me in, refer back to my chart and actually have a conversation with them about my care. Between multiple appointments there was back and forth conversion between he needed ear tubes and not. The doctor landed on the need for ear tubes, they said they'd reach out between 5-10 days. After 2 weeks of no contact I began trying to call. No answer. I left multiple voicemails and messages with no answer and no call back. Finally the surgery scheduler, Carol Holcombe, sent a message through patient portal only saying I needed to make a deposit to then schedule. So I paid the $334.82 to hold a slot for a date in May, only told us a day, no time or instructions. After 30 days of us trying again to contact them with no answer my husband had to physically go into the office to get information. It had been so long that they required us to have a second pre-op appointment. At that appointment the doctor said he didn't think my son needed tubes after all. Before I left that appointment on May 11th Rebecca Lookadoo, the Gastonia office manager, told me they would refund my surgery deposit. I called June 11th to billing to see what was the hold up on my refund. They told me that they couldn't refund back to my card because they had incorrectly put the charges under my account instead of my son's. Therefore, I must wait 30 more days to be sent a check in the mail. Then had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to pay the balance for his other appointments (we had not been mailed a bill for those yet). The lady I spoke to today promptly told me that my refund had been applied to my balance without my knowledge or consent and the remaining $83.16 actually could be put back on my card. It has been an absolute nightmare, not only the back and forth treatment plan, but the lack of communication and LIES. Total waste of time and money for my family! Needless to say my son has been seen elsewhere and he in fact does need tubes and adenoids removed. Our new surgeon found it odd adenoids was never discussed and strange how they dismissed the multiple ear infections. Horrible business

I had a first visit with Dr. Michael Sicard last week at the Matthews, NC office. I got registered…read morequickly and efficiently upon arrival and after I got my co-pay paid, the secretary came and told me he was 'still in surgery' at the hospital across the street (Presby Matthews). I got to choose to wait, reschedule, or see the Nurse Practitoner and I chose to wait to see him as I have a long history and chronic allergy/sinus/teeth problems. In less than 5 mins a 'tech' person, I guess a MOA, came and got me to 'get things started to see the RN NP. I have to admit I was wondering IF I should get up and leave and reschedule, as in the past I find relaying information, via the EMR and now a MOA, PLUS another person, often leaves MUCH to be desired. (my own PCP is at the same hospital and the problems with the EMRs there are never ending). I stayed, reluctantly at first. When the RN NP came in I felt that she actually listened to what I was telling her, and without having to consult the Doctor, she put in my order for a CT scan of my sinuses! My whole trust level changed from here on! I waited maybe 10 minutes for the scan and by the time it was finished, Dr.Sicard was ready to see me and WITH THE CT SCAN on the monitor in the room to go over WITH ME (I am a retired ER RN, so that is something I hoped would be done). All good news from Dr.Sicard! I was out and in my car in less than one hour, total...shock and awe! I chose Dr.Sicard when a MD in the same practice had retired. I looked on YouTube to see IF by any chance, there was anything about him there and sure-as- sunshine there he was! It was a short, to the point, interview with him speaking on WHY he had chosen to do EENT as his specialty and a bit about himself. I was SOLD on using him from there, for my own reasons, mostly medical. He's been a MD for a while and that is important to me. He is personable, VERY important to me, too. I am my own advocate and in Medicine today you MUST be that and more! He had a strong, non-sweaty handshake (as do I) and it may not mean a thing in 2015, but it is a good way for me to get an 'energy feel' for another person ( I do Reiki some now). By the looks of my CT he told me the BEST news that I could hear for his specialty. My main issues now are allergic, so now I will proceed seeking a good Allergist MD. The only slight difficulty I had was locating the office, even using Google Maps. It is 'behind' a main brown brick office AT the address listed....WAAAY at the end of the parking lot in a fairly new, BIG while office building. It only required a call to the office and being redirected by the girl on the phone, and in no way reflects on my visit to see Dr. Sicard. I absolutely would return to see him again and if you, too, need an EENT specialty MD I'd say you would be in great hands using him!

Recently I have been treated for chronic Migraines and have received botox which has improved My life dramatically! I was on the couch at least 3 days A week with the headaches until I went to him. His staff is always professional and treats you with respect. I am a high maintenance patient because I often pass out with no warning and they are always Prepared to deal with my extra Drama! Dr. Jones will Follow up on unusual cases like mine until he finds a solution to meet the needs of the patient! January this year, I had sinus surgery with another well-known EENT office in Charlotte. I was miserable for 4 months following the surgery. The Dr. would not take responsibility of his botched surgery. He sent me to an allergy dr. who preformed many tests and couldn't help me either. I was lost! Didn't know where to turn. I got referred to Dr. McClelland at Cornerstone, by a receptionist at my primary Dr.'s office. During our visit, he did another CT scan, and saw that the other surgery was not performed properly. He scheduled another surgery in June. I have been fixed!!
