This man came in my room daily for a month straight, told me about regular life, his new puppy, Made me want to get better, I still remember the stories he told me to this day. I had Gallstones that went out of my gallbladder in to my ducts blocking every duct they could. I was very sick to say the least. back in 1989 JULY 8th, my 17th birthday was July9th. I am lucky to be alive today because he cared. Later in life he did the same surgery on my mother at the holly sprit hospital. My olny wish is that he worked here in Maryland, Hagerstown, My now 14 year old Daughter doubled over in pain, took her to the ER, she has 20 or more Gallstones. Still consistent, excellent patient care and experiences. Hubby recently had a colonoscopy at the West Shore Endoscopy Center. Before his colonoscopy, clear written directions were provided for the dreadful prep to clean out the colon so it could be examined for pre-cancerous polyps or any other gut ailment. According to my hubby, Jackson Siegelbaum staff provides a Pleasant office experience.

I requested my medical records be send to new PCP. Records did not arrive. I tried again a month later to have them sent directly to me, and still nothing. So I called again, and they said I had to come in person and PAY them for the records! The lady was subtly totally rude about all of this. Would it have been too hard to contact ME and let me know records weren't sent (she said the fax number didnt work)? Or that records could not be sent to me? So mediocre care while there, and great difficulty getting your records.

Took my daughter here for oral surgery to get all four wisdom teeth out and the place is very…read moreclean, neat and organized. They let me know right away what was going to be covered by insurance before hand, and for us it was all covered. When you get there you have to go upstairs to check in and we did that and then you go back downstairs. After we waited about 10 mins the nurse called our daughter back and said one parent could come back. Both my husband and I took off so we could both be back there because she has anxiety issues. I asked the nurses again if her dad can come back too and they said no. Which I don't understand due to the fact that there are two seats when you enter the room. I met the doctor and he explained what the procedure was going to be, about 3 minutes and he said he will see her again in a few. They said the procedure can take up to an hour and the anesthesiologist came in and introduced themselves along with someone training. I then left and was told they will call my cellphone when she's ready. The entire procedure took about 40 minutes and we got the call. The side of the building we they want you to pick patients up needs to be marked better because it's fading but we found it. It's a tight squeeze to get out and the bushes make it hard to see. The procedure went well but we never received a call from the doctor or a nurse AT ALL to see how our daughter was doing which I found to be odd. We did have to call for a question about her healing and they did call back quickly but I don't think had they called us for a patient follow up we would have had to call them. Bottom line, not sure I would use them again. 50/50 on it. If they were more patient friendly for underage patients I would probably say yes without question. But with the not calling for a follow up or both parents not being allowed in the room with her it's a flip of a coin if I would go back. The place is though and quick so if you want that experience this may be the place for you.

Never looked me in the eyes once during the entire conversation. I ended up getting the procedure taken care of in Carlisle, where the doctor was great. The biggest issue was the billing. They want payment, in full, in advance of performing the procedure. The problem was when the EOB came from the insurance company a month later, I learned they overcharged me. I called them to tell them they owed me money. They informed me it had to go through a review process to be confirmed and then, if confirmed, a check would be cut. I ended up following up several times. The process took over two months. They want their money on the spot, but they are less interested in returning what they over charge afterwards. Crooks!
