I was on my way out of town when the engine light in my car came on. Rather than feel unsafe I stopped at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Brenham. They had a great dodge mini-van all ready to go and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Also allowed me to drop the car off early and leave the keys in a drop box. Lindsey and the rest of the staff here are truly incredible. This was the best rental car experience I have ever had. I am also someone that rents a car during work trips many times a year. This instance was due to getting in a car accident 8 hours away from our home during spring break. Lindsey was able to work very diligently and find us a van in order to fit all of our luggage to get us home safely with our kids. We were shown a deep care and empathy in a time of crisis for us. needed to rent a car because my vehicle needed repairs (about 5 hr job) . when I called to make the reservation i told the woman i needed to be picked up & gave her( Kimberly i think was her name) the physical address. 2 1/2 hrs later i was still waiting to be picked up. when i called them back to find out when i would be picked up, i was told they were not aware i needed a pick-up . she never told them. if i wanted to sit in a auto repair shop all day i would not have rented a vehicle, the guy that picked me up was very apologetic but that is no excuse for lousy customer service, will never use enterprise for another rental. read more

Your word is your bond. If you don't follow through on your word, that makes you a liar and I cannot stand liars! After receiving no luck of renting a car in Houston (called at least six places Saturday morning), I decided to go back towards home and pick up a car in Brenham. When I called, I was told that they had over forty cars in their inventory to rent and I could pick whatever I wanted. Monday morning, I receive a call from Enterprise asking if I was still coming...once I arrive, I'm told they have nothing for me to rent except a compact size Nissan Versa. Are You Kidding me Right Now!!!!! I explained to the gentlemen that I was not flexible of the vehicle not having a trunk, which he understood. He at least gave me the address and telephone number to a location in Cypress that had something besides s cracker box for a car. They were good for something--by default of one star. read more

ERC has sent me an inflated updated bill for almost $400 claiming it needed to be cleaned. After asking around, I've discovered that ERC is known for sending an additional bill to their clients for cleaning or claiming expensive damage occurred. A $400 cleaning bill. They demanded the car back as soon as repairs were done to my car. I certainly would have taken the time to give the cheap economy car an $8 dollar wash if I had known they would charge $400 for cleaning. ERC is trash. read more

Friend flew in from Canada and chose to rent a car from the Brenham location. 290 traffic. Caused us to run late, we called and advised the man who answered we would be a little late. He said he would wait 10 minutes. As we got closer, GPS indicated our arrival time would be 2:13, which meant 13 minutes late. We began calling 10 minutes before closing and of course, no answer. We arrived at 2:10. Unfortunately GPS took us to the Verizon store 2 miles east of the Enterprise store. We continued to call but still no answer. We finally found the place at 2:30, it's inside a car dealership. Enterprise employee was gone. The car dealership called him and he said there was nothing he could do he was with his family. This entire event was a series of life happens! Mistakes on our part, GPS, traffic. But Enterprise had so many options, leave the keys with someone at the dealership, call and check how far away we were, wait on us, answer the phone up to closing time. Come back, it's Brenham, Texas!! Instead, they lost two customers for life! They get one star because there is no zero stars they deserve. read more

Absolutely horrible experience!! Car was brought back in the same condition as it was picked up. The lady representative (I think her name was Kaitlyn) was great, extremely kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, the day I dropped off, she was gone for the day. The guy working tried to say the car was returned in horrible condition covered in pet hair. A pet wasn't even in the car. He also claimed there was body damage and I DID NOT DO ANY DAMAGE!! I am still having to deal with the insurance part of this and it's ridiculous. It was a horrible experience because of him and I will never go back and never refer them to anyone. If I could give a negative I would!! read more

We will always rent from Enterprise. We were offered an upgrade and other perks by Mr. Dulaney. This last year, we used Avis/Budget and they gave us a very unsafe car and horrible customer service. We will continue to use Enterprise and we are sharing our experience with all our friends. read more

We cannot say enough good things about this car rental facility and especially Thomas Dulaney, the manager. We needed a car last minute and Thomas helped us out; then, when we realized we needed a bigger vehicle, he waited and met us at the end of his workday. He was professional and pleasant, and highly knowledgeable about which vehicle would best fit our needs. Very grateful for his help and will be back again. Highly recommended. read more

Rented a vehicle there, the first car had a flat in and hour leaving us stranded, a wrecker picked it up because they don't provide spares. Drove and hour to pick up the second vehicle and had it for 2 weeks, ran great, dropped it off and got a several thousand dollar bill stating we wrecked it, twice. After many calls and stress over a month we received an email saying we were cleared we didn't do the damage. I'm guessing the rental people didn't look it over before they rented it to us and tried to dump the damage on us. Bait and switch. They promised me a Chrysler Town and Country or Dodge Caravan. I explained that I have a large family and we're traveling across the country for a week long trip. My Expedition was in the shop with a time consuming repair. I called on the day I was supposed to pick up to let them know I'd be 30 minutes late and found out they had reserved a ford focus for me. Way to ruin a trip, Enterprise-Brenham. The locations in College Station were honest and told me they had no available mini vans up front. read more

This rental company would not rent a vehicle to my son who is 19. He is a student at Blinn and was stranded over the Thanksgiving holiday and could not get to the airport in Austin. I called to try to get him a car rental so he could get himself to the airport to come home. I told them I would guarantee the rental and I would co-sign and give a credit card or deposit or whatever they wanted to do to ensure they car was safe, insured and cared for. They were zero help and also said I couldn't do anything over the phone. They said I even if they could do that, I would have to come down in person to do the contract. Hmmm...IF I COULD COME DOWN IN PERSON, I WOULD NOT NEED MY SON TO HAVE A CAR RENTAL YOU IDIOT. Most idiotic polices not equipped to help a honest paying customer in need!
