We called again a week in advance just to be sure and were told the same thing. THREE days in advance, we called again to reserve the shuttle for our wedding guests (to drive from the Stonefence to a cottage in Morristown, less than 10 miles away) and the man on the phone became indignant- insisting that we should have called before, although he said we could still reserve a shuttle. We called the entire day of our rehearsal dinner (day before wedding) and he was not answering at all! We were trying to get a confirmation number that would never exist, in order to ensure that our guests were safely transported from their hotel to our wedding venue. This is a level of customer service and extremely poor business practices that I am glad to say I have never been privy to. Thankfully no accidents resulted from it-- due to my own friends and family providing safe rides for other guests. While we were enjoying our time scrambling to find another shuttle service, during our rehearsal dinner (obviously we had nothing more important to be doing, right?) we received calls back from other services who laughed when they heard we tried to book G-man because they are "notorious" for going completely under the radar, last minute, for big events. I am an Ogdensburg native, and I believe that the area can be restored to what it once was, but "business practices" like this will only hold it back. This could have resulted in drunk driving crashes (possibly deaths) if it had happened to a less responsible group. I would also like to add, you probably would have made hundreds of dollars in tips, alone-- had you made responsible and ethical business decisions that weekend. I look forward to spreading the word about this-- the only thing that went wrong for my wedding.

It was amazing to see how well the trip was coordinated between the Upper Canada Playhouse, Mackintosh Inn, and several other bus companies and organizations. The bus arrived on time at the Louis Street lot, where there was plenty of free parking right in the centre of Brockville. The bus driver was very courteous and professional, and we were able to get front row seats which my sister needed as she gets bus/car sick easily. The coach was very comfortable and warm and the driver helped everyone get in and out as needed. The buffet at the Inn was organized into different scheduled seatings with the various groups arriving at different times. Aside from the deadline to board the bus to get to the play, we were able to leisurely take our time to eat and chat, and the food was plentiful, homestyle, really delicious and well prepared. Every single person in the room was a senior, so the menu was designed to cater to (mainly white) older people from the local area. The playhouse was fully booked with the numerous groups on their tours, and we had an enjoyable time watching the show, with plenty of time for a "pit stop" before boarding the bus for a relaxing trip home to Brockville. Although the weather was a smidge snowy and sleety, the driver was confident and careful. When we gave a small tip upon arriving at the Louis Street lot, he seemed surprised and was very thankful. I totally recommend this company and also a big shout out to Ashley at the office for being so patient with my phone calls to book. This was my first ever "senior's bus tour" and it really exceeded my expectations. The cost was $135 per person inclusive which was totally worth it.

It is a slow sightseeing hour tour that takes you up the St Lawrence River around the Boldt Castle on the U.S. border. The captain and mates were very friendly. There is tons of seating inside and outside on the ship. We went on the front for a great view and gentle cool winds. The kids had a wonderful time exploring and learning about the area.
