Came in awhile back with a nail in the right rear tire. Ofcourse when I went there they had no cars to trade me into but Evan still did his job and pointed me to a Firestone nearby for me to go get it fixed. Apparently that's Enterprise' policy. The Firestone trip was ok: they handled it pretty quickly but all in all, I wasn't happy that Enterprise couldn't help me out when I was there. However, when I returned the car today Evan the manager took care of me very quickly and very well! I was quite pleased, to say the least. I will definitely come back! ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR IN CAVE CREEK, AZ DESERVES A MILLION STARS! I think it should be renamed ENTERPRIZE bc it's like getting a prize every time I have rented from them! TRULY THE BEST CAR RENTAL PLACE OF ALL TIME! This location! This company! This staff! THOMAS-the PREVIOUS manager is who originally got me hooked. His customer service is off the charts! He is so incredibly helpful and informative. He always makes sure my car is ready to go. He is such a hard worker. One time he was in the back vacuuming out a vehicle! Thomas got a well deserved promotion and moved to a location in Scottsdale! SINCE THEN, I had the pleasure of working with the new branch mgr, EVAN BOWERS! He is the same amazing caliber as Thomas. This location is just ran really well and efficient. I feel like they are a really good team and it carries over into their excellent customer service. This location/staff is the real deal and blow EVERYONE ELSE OUT OF THE WATER on every aspect! They have a really cool office located in beautiful downtown Cave Creek, AZ. Evan and Thomas always have the best selections of vehicles and have taken care of me on several occasions on a short notice. Every time I pick up a perfect, clean, fun vehicle to drive across country. I used to shop around regarding pricing but no longer have to do that with this place. They ALWAYS have competitive pricing- and have always been lower than the competition. Not only that but the cars are always the best which means a great deal to me! A dependable vehicle is a must and they always come through. I am also very picky regarding clean, smoke free vehicles. The cars are always gassed up, spotless, clean windows and ready to roll (literally). The check in and check out process is effortless and I always enjoy talking to the staff. First time I came to this location I was very happy. Since then it's been the opposite with the final straw being when my daughter was in an accident and we needed one for a replacement. We had a reservation set through our insurance and when we arrived on Tuesday Evan didn't have a car. It was a pleasant conversation but couldn't do anything and didn't have a solution at the time stating they were 4 cars short. Agreed to stay in touch but never heard anything back. Called yesterday and they said I'd have the car I reserved today by 12. Called to confirm again since I didn't want to waste another trip to find they don't have my vehicle and again 4 cars short my specific vehicle. No solutions offered, no customer service. Could tell Evan was stressed out being the only person working there and it was obvious from the lack of client experience that he has compassion fatigue. read more

Convenience does not insure good service. DO NOT utilize this location if they have not had at least a twenty-four hour time frame to prepare AND YOU ARE A LOCAL. I have attempted to utilize this location on a number of occasions (three times). Once when my insurance company handled the reservation, a second time as a drop off location and third time was yesterday. They prefer tourist who are staying in the high-end resorts in this area and have a PLANNED vacation. My car wouldn't start (needed a new battery because of the local heat) and Like Mark B. I made a reservation, had a confirmation number and as I was getting in my UBER (there was not an available person to pick me up according to the central reservation telephone bank) A person from the Cave Creek location called and said there was not any available cars ( and that IF I had better planning skills he would have been able to accommodate me) . I have an 11:00 appointment downtown and the time is 9:30 am and I now have no car??? All calls go through the central reservation and in order to speak with a location they must transfer you to the location after you listen to the automated system that is basically doing research for marketing purposes, "Push 1 for leisure" "Push 2 for Business" etc. etc. etc. I am in an Uber driving to the largest location in the valley while I am on hold. They transferred me six times on one call. I called four separate times and experienced this mandatory procedure. The fourth time I made a reservation and went to the Airport to pick up a car and pay an extra 11 dollars a day and quoted me a different inflated price once I arrived. I have rented from enterprise for years. Loved them! I reserved a car 3 weeks before July 3. They called me July 2. I called July 3 at 7:30am to check the availability. I was informed that they didn't have a car available yet but would give me a call ASAP once available. I received a call at 3:30 pm, July 3 stating that a car in now available. I needed the car from 730am Friday to Monday 7:30 am. I asked if he could adjust the rate because I had already missed out on my early morning trip since I didn't have the car at the reserved time. I was told that I would have to pay the full amount even though I didn't have the car and had to cancel my plans. I WILL NEVER USE ENTERPRISE AGAIN. They didn't try to make it right or offer me another vehicle as a loyal customer. read more

It doesn't matter if you request a certain for pick up they will not honor it as you are in there time which can be up to an additional hour. We use Enterprise almost exclusively and rent cars often for longer road trips (because of a corporate discount). We have been in Cave Creek for a few months and were surprised that there is an Enterprise in our back yard - sweet! Overall, we have been pleased with our experience at this Enterprise location. Ian is usually the rep that we interact with - he has consistently been friendly, efficient (oddly, this location can get busy sometimes) and makes sure that the customer is satisfied. Many times, they will not have the class of vehicle reserved, but have always made this right for us. My one big beef with this location (and it is a pretty significant one to me) - they don't have a key drop to leave the keys after hours - what??!! We usually drop the car off at night and then return during business hours to return the keys and get a receipt (good thing it's close to home). This is the first Enterprise location where I have encountered this. It is especially frustrating because the location has pretty limited hours. Oh well, it is close to home, they are friendly and efficient - we will definitely continue to return. read more

Am renting a car for 3 months, so I called ahead to make sure that they had something relatively new. When I got there, all they had were high mileage beat up cars. Had to run up to Anthem enterprise where they had a great car for me. Annoyed, but not a biggie. A couple of weeks into this rental, the oil change light goes on. I had an oil change and paid the $45. Went up to the Cave Creek location to try and get a credit for that service. The assistant manager, Chase Fleetwood, handled it very professionally. Explained to me that I should have called Enterprise first, and that they normally don't reimburse for oil changes after the fact. However, I did get credited, and will remain an Enterprise customer. read more

WHY MAKE A RESERVATION IF ENTERPRISE IS JUST GOING TO GIVE YOUR CAR AWAY? Came in yesterday to rent a SUV which they didn't have. We were offered a truck or a SUV ready for us at 8am the next morning. Made a reservation for the SUV. Called before we came I today, but just got a recording. When we got there today we were told that someone else came in and rented the SUV which was reserved for us. Confusing I know. Clark did cut the price in half for us which is appreciated. He also told us a second SUV would be here for us in 10 minutes. AND I clarified, 10 real minutes and was told yes. 30 minutes later finally got the car. Unfortunately no other options in the area which probably explains why this satellite office is still open. read more

Rented out of Cave Creek for the second year for vacation. The employees are friendly and the cars are new. Shout out to "Raven" who is an exceptional employee!! Staff operates in a chaotic and very unprofesional way. Cars offered are usually very dirty very dirty, have mechanical problems or service issues. Although this is a busy place they have a scarcity of cars and operate with a very small fleet. I come to Carefree twice a month it is always the same long wait, no decent cars and really unpleasant service. Im thinking of renting a car at a totally different location and staying away from Enterprise. Cant recommend under any circumstances. read more

The car we rented had a "maintenance requred" notice (we were picked up in this car from Enterprise so the notice must have been on at the time) which I noticed when we had driven 100 ft. Turned around, told Alex who said he checked the records, the maintenance work had been done and someone forgot to reset it when maintenance was completed. We were driving to Utah from Cave Creek so we were still nervous the whole time coming and going. On the way back, outside of Las Vegas, the tire light came on. We stopped and added air, the light came on again before reaching our hotel. We valeted the car and called Enterprise. We wanted someone to bring us a new car as it was unsafe to drive the one we had. After OVER an hour on the phone, (talking to national Enterprise only/Roadside assistance, and unable to talk to a local person even though we had a local numbers which went only to a national line) we were told "Las Vegas was too busy" and we had to get to the airport ourselves to get a car (no cars available at closer locations we were told)...but we couldn't talk to the airport to see if they had a car (the size we currently had) available as we were told the "airport staff were too busy and didn't have time to answer their phones." When leaving the hotel for the airport we saw the tire was almost flat. We couldn't make it to the airport...had the tire patched (which was easier than dealing with Enterprise locally or nationally), drove back to Cave Creek, AZ. To be fair, Alex (in Cave Creek) was extremely accommodating, appropriately appalled and discounted the car. However, Enterprise's response in Las Vegas was appalling. We have used Enterprise many times and were extremely disappointed in the response to an unsafe vehicle situation. read more
