Our daughter needed a car while her car was being repaired. The team at the Chesterfield Airport Road got a car for her, helped her understand insurance for their vehicle. Unfortunately, their car got hit with hail during the May storm. She went down there the next day and they assured her all would be fine. They arranged for the rental to be picked up at the car repair place. Just all worked perfectly. After talks with several different people at managerial level ( people who saw my point of view and felt I had been wronged!) the enterprise location delivered an SUV to my residence, and this seems like an acceptable solution. I ended up driving a rental car from Enterprise for 29 days. My auto insurance covered the cost of the rental but I chose to get the additional coverage at $20 per day. I had no idea I was going to be in the car for 29 days but Enterprise was excellent. I would absolutely use them again. Hopefully next time it's for something fun instead of something that's a drag. read more

I also had a couple issues with the car they gave me and he was very nice and made sure I was happy with absolutely everything! When visiting family in St. Louis over the holidays, I've learned that I absolutely need to be mobile. There are old friends to see, small children to escape (kidding!), and there's always last-minute shopping to do. On this particular trip, I was arriving later in the evening with my dog and didn't want to deal with the hassle of renting a car from the airport... especially since a family member offered to pick up Sasha (in a crate!) and me. When I found out that an Enterprise outpost is located less than a mile from my sister's home, I jumped at the chance to book a rental there instead of the airport. After settling nicely into my sister's spare bedroom, the next day she drove me to Enterprise and I was greeted by the friendliest staffers (no, really!) and a super clean, very civilized operation. They located my reservation quickly and then told me where I could find my vehicle - about 20 steps outside of the door. The rental price was just as competitive as the airport's and I didn't have to deal with a shuttle or long lines... just pure efficiency and smiling staffers. I'll never rent from the STL airport again. Life-changing! read more

Their customer service was terrible. Our flight got changed and they said we had to pay for another day when we paid for two extra days and returned the car early. We had previously left them with a good review and then called back and they said we couldn't have the car and that we had to pay for another day when we had already paid for today. They also wouldn't take a debit card but when we extended our rental to a week rather than two days they took it over the phone. Horrible enterprise. I'd rather go to any other location than here. read more

Recently my son-in- law had to return a rented car and get another one for their trip home. Luckily they located one not far away. He drove there, ( they didn't volunteer to bring the car to him and exchange it ) . It was discovered later that an expensive pair of glasses were left in the car. Dealer was called the next morning, told where they were, and they stated that none were found. After family returned to Texas, they called again, and this time they were located in the lost and found. Asked for them to be mailed, and person said he couldn't authorize that, a manager would have to. I did drive over to the rental place and picked them up as my daughter had told them I could. This happened over Christmas break so how were people to get their property back? My daughter was more than happy to pay for the shipping. The young man was very polite and stated the policies as he had been taught. I thought Enterprise was more for helping the customer. read more

The initial attraction was the very competitive rental rates but I soon found other reasons to keep coming back, time and again: the high quality of the cars and the competence and affability of the staff. My car had to go to the shop for a week. Tim as always made sure I got the car that fit my needs at the competitive prices they offer. Unfortunately my car needed another week in the shop. That ended up being no problem. Tim extended my rental for another week at the same rate, this despite the fact that currently it was posting for a higher rate. Closing in on the second week the car still wasn't ready, and I wasn't sure I could a go for a 3rd week renting. Again no problem Tim offered to extend it over the weekend at their $9.99 special that they were offering at that point. I've been telling my friends about this branch, we all agree that they offer competitive pricing and that they are very honest, something which can be hard to find in this line of business. read more

I have now been renting from the Airport Rd/ Chesterfield location, on a monthly basis for over a year now. I was sad when Tim Barrett was promoted in December, as he was always pleasant and personable and mostly who I dealt with after my previous review. He deserved the promotion, and I wish him well.. Since December, Tim Cain has stepped up and seems less cocky and more direct in his approach (instead of like a wishy washy salesperson) and I'm happy. I was taking my daughter and a number of girls for an overnight and needed a large Suburban or Yukon to fit them and their stuff. I made a reservation online and was then called to say the car was not available. I then called Enterprise to see if there was another location with the car and was given a confirmation number at this location. When I got there the car was not available either. I felt bad for the guys in the office having to deal with angry customers who were promised cars that were not available. The office team was exceptional and worked around finding me a car that would fit my girls, but enterprise as a car rental company has some significant IT issues they need to solve. read more
