Upon return I advised agent Tobee that there was a musty oder inside the car and that I purchased an air freshener. He was very understanding and made things right. Worst car rental experience I've ever endured in the last 30 years. There was delay after delay after picking us up 40 minutes late from the time they were supposed to. Then after patiently waiting 2 and a 1/2 hours to rent a car the upcharged us so bad so maliciously and so Absurdly That we decided not to rent the car because we couldn't trust them at all We were afraid that they were gonna try to double the up charjust in falsehoods upon returning the car. We had a reservation and needed to be picked up at a certain time. They were late but my point here is they cared about it and we're very apologetic and sorry. That's saying a lot these days of lackluster customer service! The car was clean worked just fine they helped us to our destination and they remembered us. went to pick up my rental car only to have to stand outside on a cold and windy day, not allowed in the building. After waiting some time and having them recheck my reservation number, they come back to tell me the car as already been picked up! I said no, I'm here now to get it. They then go back inside for a while, come out and tell me someone in Tampa gave my reserved car to another person, but they will fix it. I have now been outside for about 45 minutes, it takes another 15 or 20 minutes to get the problem solved. They bring me a car, do a very fast walk around, check the gas take and say have a nice day. No instructions on where anything is on the car. When I go to get turn the car, I am told to call when I am on my way up so they are aware and have a driver ready to take me to get my vehicle. I call tell them I'll be there in about 10 or 15 minutes, that I have an appointment and need to make sure they have a driver there. No problem they say, the driver will be there. I get there, go inside 3 times, check outside 3 times calling out for anyone who will answer. I then walk to the far back find someone washing a car and ask for help, she informs me she is alone and has to finish washing the car before she can help me. I tell her I am looking for the driver and she replies, no problem her girl is on the way and will be there in about 2 minutes. Again I sit outside and wait for her or anyone else to come and help me. I gentleman does come after about 10 more minutes and does the release on my rental car. I ask about the driver and he says she is just leaving an auto dealer in town and will be there shortly. She does finally arrive after about a 25 minutes wait it total. So, my call to set things up did nothing to help me with the service they said they could and would provide. Next time, I'll use another rental car agency read more
