Picked this location to rent a full size suv for a trip. From the booking to the confirmation it was a great experience. Until the last minute I have no clue on what kind of vehicle I would be getting. In the website it just said Chevrolet Tahoe or similar What I got was Lincoln Navigator. Exceeded my expectation and we had an amazing experience on a long trip in this vehicle. Staff was great and I had a very positive experience from the checkin to return of the car. Received a call 0858a today, 09/21, about our vehicle that we were to pick up at 11a. We requested a van but they offered a pickup truck on the voicemail. They didn't even contact my husband who is the person renting the car. We are confused as to why they called me. They intentionally didn't call him. We are traveling with a family of 6. Where are we going in a truck? It is your job to find a similar sized vehicle. I do not recommend! read more

My first rental was with Gabriel Bryant and absolute all star when it comes to greeting costumers and making sure everything is beautiful while setting up the rental agreements Also Roscoe was phenomenal there was only 3 guys in the entire shop and still served each customer with a very quick yet still very informative and caring even though they were working a little bit passed closed to get everyone taken care of.. This location should be immediately. I had a reservation to pick up a vehicle at 11:30am. At 12pm, I received a call from the Enterprise location to push back my pickup time to 1:00 p.m.. although it was an inconvenience I complied. I get there at 1:00 p.m. and they don't have any vehicles available. They pointed me to the three vehicles they have that I could take, neither of which fit my reservation. One of the vehicles did not even have 4 good tires and they were all completely filthy. My question is, why take a reservation if you don't have the cars to offer. They're only comeback was that they were waiting for vehicles to come in. All they did was waste my time. The agent was so nonchalant and unhelpful. All he did was ask me if I wanted to cancel my reservation. No apology, nothing. They should be shut down. This is not the first time I had an issue with the lack of professionalism and customer service at this location. I don't even understand how the people working there still have jobs and how the location is still open. read more

Due to an impending work meeting I couldn't wait longer than the hour I had already waited I took a car that I will certainly be returning because it SMELLS terrible too. I'm giving them 1 star because the people are nice and they will pick you up and drop you off which is very convenient. Unfortunately, nice people are not enough in this industry and the problem I have had repeatedly (with only this location!) is their site/app offering cars for rent that they do not have on the lot. I had to cancel my last 3 reservations with them because what I reserved (Standard SUV, Compact SUV & Cargo Van) was not available. Despite booking more than a week in advance I typically found out by way of phone call (the day of my reservation) that what I reserved (based on their sites availability) was not actually available. They always offer to downgrade me to something else. I was recently downgraded from a Standard SUV (the largest they have) to a small pickup truck at "no additional cost". However...if I had reserved a small pickup to begin with my total rental would have been $100 less at time of reservation...because they switched it up on me the day I was to pick my rental up the rates had gone up. So, bait & switch & they made SUV money. I was called again today (4/4/19) and told the SUV I was to pick up in a few hours was not on the lot...and yet still SUVs show up as available for rental on their app. (see pic) Another observation...the cars are bathed on the outside but often gross on the inside. Sticky steering wheels and food particles left all over console. My last vehicle had sequins & hair stuck in the sticky cup holder (I don't want to know) & Taco Bell trash shoved under the passenger seat and another looked like someone had vomited on the seats. These were my two choices after the SUV I rented was "not on the lot." Because of the unavailability of reserved vehicles, the bait & switch and lack of cleanliness I now will never rent from this location again. read more

After several bad experiences with Enterprises, it's tough to get the sour taste from my mouth. However, this location seemed to be ok on this experience. I'm always in defense mode with Enterprise. However,I'm going to be fair and provide an honest review as I always do. The location was hassle free. They actually told me what was required to rent a car and not one thing changed upon arrival. I rented a Toyota Nissan to ride around my hometown in GA for my weekend visit. It cost $61 plus I added the insurance at $21 for a total of $82 dollars for 1 day. I told by the service attendant that I was able to drop my car off at any enterprise since I needed to drop it off in Atlanta and not back in Dallas to catch my flight. I took the car back in excellent condition with a full tank, 2 hours before the 24 hour turn around and was charged an additional $75 because I dropped it off at the airport and not back in Dallas. I had to catch a flight how can you do that if you return the car back to Dallas??? I was never told of this additional charge and NOW they can only give me a 25 credit still charging me. Also very rude on the phone. If you have to rent a car, I would avoid this place at all cost to avoid extra charges. read more

People are generally nice but the availability and the whole process is just burdensome. I rent cars about twice a month for business. I ALWAYS try National first because it is easy. Enterprise likes to make it a chore. A reservation doesn't really mean anything to them, no guarantee a car is available. On numerous occasions I have sat wasting valuable time, just waiting for someone to return a car or whatever. If a car is available, they have to swipe my credit card and take down license info EVERY time even though I book reservation through their app which has all that information. These guys need to get on board with technology, just painful. The only reason it isn't a one star is they generally have nice people. read more

I rent from Enterprise all the time especially in Downtown so imagine my surprise when I was renting a car in Hiram and there was a familiar face. The Manager Richard, he has always helped me out in the past and he certainly did yet again. I've got a ton of reward points and Richard always seems to find me the best deals. The staff was extremely friendly and they were very busy. They went out of their way to help me made sure I got the car I needed and explained everything in detail. The lot is super busy but, they don't rush you out the door. Fortunately my company only uses Enterprise and I get what I need or better every time. I booked this reservation 3 weeks ago with this location in Hiram. I was informed form the gentleman that made my reservation, that my insurance qualified me for any car I wanted. So, the gentleman stated what was available, I told him that wanted to select the BMW. The day of pick up the BMW, the assistant manager Ashley, completely disregard my request. If someone request for a car and it is not available, I felt that this matter should had been handle better, than just blow my request off and only give me 2 choices. I observed this location was unorganized and everyone standing looking lost. This could have been avoided, if someone would make sure all car request is available the day before. Spoke with them twice over the phone before being dropped off via Lyft to confirm all needed documentation and to confirm that I could pay with my debit card. They called me back to confirm both. Arrived at the facility and they told me "you need utility bills, I don't know what to tell you" and told me that my license was an Alabama license in the system despite me standing there with my valid GEORGIA license in hand! Im fortunate enough to not pay bills but told them I have my insurance and check stubs. I ended up stranded with my kid until someone could come pick us up. I rented a car from Enterprise in Hiram, GA and the experience could not have been better. I made the reservation spur of the moment the night before and picked it up at 10:00 the next morning. Everyone was friendly, courteous and helpful. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes with a better vehicle than I had reserved. There was a tail light and blinker out, but I didn't realize that until I was 60 miles up the road, but when I returned the car the next morning and explained the issue, my associate immediately reduced my bill, apologized profusely and I was in and out in 5 minutes. How can you ask for better customer service than that?? I will absolutely use this location again and highly recommend it to anyone who needs to rent a vehicle. I was worried at first that this would be a replay of last years events, but was happy to see things went a lot more smoothly being that nightmare happened thanks to another location. This store stays crowded, with lines nearly out the door. The young lady who helped me was very patient and friendly. They only had one full size car available and it wouldn't have fit our family's needs unlike other full size cars so we then had to upgrade which didnt make me happy about spending that extra money but ended up being somewhat happy with our choice in the end. Unlike smyrna's location, this car was clean (for the most part, the cupholder in the back had sticky stuff but no biggie) and had no offensive smell. I found another vehicle i like although gas mileage wasn't great. Drop off was easy, we did it after hours so we just parked the car and dropped the keys in their after hours drop box. read more

This enterprise car rental on Hiram is "the worst". The customer service sucks. I booked a reservation online at about 10AM. There was an available option to pick up the car at 12pm. The closing time is 1pm. I get there to pick up the car that I reserved for that day, at 12:03. The lady says "I'm sorry but our system shuts down at 12 so you can't get a rental today". I tell her that I didn't read that on my reservation, she says, "we just assume that you would come early". This is utterly the worst. I was in town for my fathers funeral. My sister rented a car from Enterprise. She drove the car for 1 day and I noticed a knot in the sidewall of the front driver side tire. I called the location on JIMMY LEE SMITH PARKWAY at 8 am when they opened. I spoke to a young lady who informed me I had to take the car to PEP BOYS OR FIRESTONE and have the tire repaired. Of course there is no appointments available at either place . So I drive the car to the location because it is closest. I meet the young lady with whom I spoke on the phone at 8:50. Same answer. We can't help you. Drive the dangerous car back to the location you rented it from. She states that's the answer the district manager gave her. I call the location I rented from. I get put on hold . The hold message is we "treat you like you want to be treated." I call BS. " we go above and beyond to satisfy our customers" is just a slogan with no actions to back it up. I believe Enterprise treats you nice until you have real emergency. I have a faulty car and I need to get to my dads funeral with my family and I have to seek out a repair shop. The Branch/District managers only answer is I'm sorry , I've got 100 reservations and I don't have 100 cars. I am looking at several cars on the lot. Not even average service. I've got an emergency and all I get is we can't help. I call the original store we rented from and I am put on hold until it hangs up on me. Enterprise likes you right up until they actually rent you a car. After that you are on your own. read more

Enterprise Rental Car, Hiram, GA If I could give this rental car establishment less than a 1 I would. But unfortunately I can not. I reserved a van online to go out of town for Spring break 2019. The reservation was confirmed. I even received a second confirmation 2 days before my planned trip. The morning of my trip 2 hours before time for me to pick up the reserved vehicle I received a phone call saying that unfortunately they did not have any vehicles to rent and that there is no way for them to keep up with online vehicle rentals and their inventory. (I reiterate it was 2 hours before the scheduled pick up!) The representative was minimally apologetic and was basically like, "oops, nothing we can do no cars are available anywhere". Then she asks, "Did you call to reserve it?" I was confused. I have never had to call to further confirm a previously reserved and confirmed online car rental. I have rented with Enterprise (albeit not at this location) on many occasions. I have never received a confirmation and then had to call to ensure that the location that sent me the confirmation would have a car available. The fact that she asked me that question was more than ridiculous, it was as if it was my fault that they over booked their rentals. I recommend not wasting your time at the Hiram location as they are unapologetically disorganized and their overall profession acuity is more than lacking. read more

7/24/2017 - My experience with Enterprise has typically been good, however, this location has changed my opinion. First, the property is too small for the amount of business that it does. Yes they do a lot of business, but in this case, a lot of business is not a good thing for its customers. Next, the wait times when I've gone have been long. Ridiculously long! Employees are generally well-mannered but seem helpless to resolve the many issues plaguing the location. They are not organized enough to have the vehicles available that customers have reserved. Those that were waiting for their rentals in front of me were having to wait for clean cars. Hmmm. On two separate occasions I've booked vehicles here only to arrive, wait for a ridiculous amount of time (over an hour each time), and in both cases they did not have the vehicle class that I booked. Both times I left disappointed and frankly angry. After one of these long wait experiences, I called Enterprise customer service and shared the issues and my frustration. It was then that my call was escalated. Finally, someone was going to help me! Nope. This customer service escalation was a joke. I told her that I was willing to drive 30 minutes to another location to pick up the vehicle class that I needed (a truck) and she said that the new location had the vehicle! YES!!!! NO!!!! They had the vehicle but because the location was either managed or owned by a different group, that I was going to have to pay $16 more a day! What??? You're kidding me, right? She was not. I asked that in lieu of my experience and my willingness to go to another location to remedy Enterprise Hiram's issue, certainly she was empowered to approve the rental for the original, agreed price? Unbelievably, no. In disbelief, I told her that I was taking my business elsewhere hoping that she would somehow salvage my business. She offered nothing. I hung up. I just knew that she would call back. I mean, after all she was on the "escalation team." No such return call. Enterprise, if you are going to tout this family business with having such tremendous success, you must follow through and fine tune your business so that customers leave having an awesome experience. If you choose to do so, please make this Hiram, GA location a priority. I'm burned and not happy about it. In this arena of rental car companies and plenty of competition, why would I put myself through this again? Well, believe it or not, I'm trying them again tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. This was set up by my insurance company after an accident and my car will be in the collision center for repairs. You know what they say about the definition of insanity? It's doing the same things over and over again expecting different results. Well, here goes... 7/25/2017 - Dropped my vehicle off at the collision center. Enterprise was called to pick me up. 45 minutes later my ride arrived. Good guy named Greg. He understood the frustrations but is helpless to make changes. Arrived at the location only to have a lobby full of customers, all seats are filled, and tensions are high. This time they have a sign in sheet but no one knew it was there. Greg told me about it and signed in right away. I'm 5th on the sheet. More to come... okay, one person is working the counter. Just amazing. Finally after a 30 minute wait, now at 1 hour and 15 minutes I'm be helped by a young lady with an ipad (or some portable device). She takes me out to the parking lot where my vehicle is waiting. She swipes my credit card for a $50 deposit hold, we check out the SUV, and I'm on my way. An hour and a half later. At this point, i have a rental. I will say, however, that the vehicle was not cleaned. The front and rear windows are filthy. I topped at a car wash and paid $6 to do a quick wash. Folks, be aware if using this location. read more

I made a reservation at 7:30 for someone to come pick me up. When I called to see where they were at at 8:00 am, they hadn't even left and seemed confused as if they didn't know to come pick me up. When I got there and it was time to pay, the lady swiped my credit card and ended up making my call customer service for my bank for a verification code which is never needed. In the past I have had issues dealing with Enterprise. My experience this time was starting the same way - the person I spoke to at Corporate to make the reservation was not pleasant. When I arrived to pick up the car the reservation was not complete, issues between Geico and Enterprise. Aljamar Henederson at the HIram location went above and beyond to turn my experience around, I was upset and even though it wasn't his fault, he keep his cool, smile and made sure I left happy. read more

I have been renting from this location from many years. The staff is so helpful and so patient as it is the second busiest location with the airport being the first. I always get picked up and dropped off and have many pleasant conversations during the drive. The managers that come there are usually well on top of how to run this location, and always aiming to please. read more

The first day 1 went to pick up a car they told me to come back after one hour, when did I had to wait for another hour before a car was available. When I finally got the car the oil change sign was red, the sales girl said that it had been done and this was ok. I had this car for 5 weeks, when they called and said I had to renew my contract and I had to go to their offices, When I did they said the car needed oil change, and since they did not have a small car I had the option to either go take the car for oil change or take a bigger car. I opted to take the bigger car to go to a different location to see if they had a smaller car, this other location did not also have any other smaller vehicles. I opted to drop the vehicle at this location. It was a surprise to me that they charged me 65.00 to drive this vehicle from their hiram location to Acworth. I did not make any stops. They were not transparent, that it would cost me that much. Would not recommend this location to anybody. read more

Probably will never rent a car from this company again. Set a reservation date over the phone was was told a price. I go to pick up the car and it's an extra $200 from what I was initially told. Not only that but I was asked a drop off time I said 3:30 and is apparently now 1 o'clock. Why ask for a drop off time that works for me when you don't even apply it. Now I'm having to work around my work schedule just so I'm not charged for an additional day. I don't understand why I wasn't called and told this before the day I'm supposed to return it. This was not a good experience at this location. When u call the phone will just ring and no one answer it. I have had to call several times before an answer. The sales person I dealt with had no people skills whatsoever. The car I had to go with was dirty. There was several people in line when I went to return the car and the sales people that should have been waiting on customers were out back washing the cars. I rented a car from them for 3 days I avoided an accident on Highway busted a tire n cracked rim they charged my card for the dames instead of what I was told to bring cash in and I said I wasn't notified the employee said well we left a vm I said most ppl don't check vm n I was out of the country he seemed to not care at all n this is not the first time they have charged my card without notification and their service sucks as well as cars are always filthy when u get there car never ready I have to wait for it to be cleaned inside n out n still get it filthy omg I have given them more than enough chance to fix the service so I'll take my business else where they need 0 star read more

They are always so nice at Enterprise locations, but the one in Hiram Ga really blew me away! So nice, funny, but yet very professional...can't beat that mix! I'm just curious as to why they don't offer the $9.99 weekend special though....my first time ever that I was going to try it out but couldn't...that wasn't a problem though...I really didn't need a car that long...just wanted to try the special I'd heard/read about so many times. I've always rented at enterprise never had a problem until yesterday. I'm coming fro San Antonio as a traveling nurse when I arrived at the airport and was about to get the car I realized I lost my drivers license even though I had it on my phone they said no. So I went to manager name Mohammad he said I would have to apply fora temporally License and have it come to his email and he would have to print it bc that's the only way it would be valid. Ok I done that took me an hour because he took that long coming back to me. After all this he states I can't have a car without a return flight, again I tell this clown I'm a travel nurse my contract states 10/31 but I can g canceled so I don't buy my ticket until a week before my contract ends. He then tells me to go to budget I told him I would need h to print that document fir me he says oh no I can only print that if your renting from enterprise go there if they can't help come back I was so upset I begin crying so I just took a Lyft to my hotel. Once I got to hotel I begin telling my friend my experience as I was taking and look towards the ground there was my license. Don't know where they cane from but I took this as it was not meant for me to rent from enterprise but I was upset because now this man has my information on his computer read more

I rented a car for 3 days from this location around Nov. 20, 2017 due to my truck being in the shop. Long story short, the mechanic took over the rental due to the circumstances of my truck returning to the shop. Enterprise was supposed to issue me a full refund for what I paid upfront for the rental. after about two and a half weeks of going back and forth with them I received a partial refund, but today is 12-19-17 and I have yet to receive my full refund. Each and every time I myself or the mechanic try to reach them about it no one is equipped or knowledgeable enough to correct the situation, they've assured me on several different occasions that it will be ( two or three business days) two weeks ago. It seems as if it is every one of the employees first week on the job.
