So my experience with enterprise was wondful, until it wasn't. I was getting ready to go on vacation with my son and wanted to rent a car to get to him. They hooked me up good. I mean real good. A 2024 Mazda 3. It was a dream car. A dream ride. Very friendly service for pick up and drop off. A 5 star review for that. The lady advised me to book one for the ride home ASAP as I had mentioned to her that I would be needing one. The location I dropped off at had a recent hail storm so their cars were flying out of there as people were getting their cars repaired. I took her advice and booked my reservation. As I was responding to an email to confirm, I noticed it said return location was the same as pick up. That's not what I needed at all. So I called them to see if I could switch that to a one way and the guy proceeded to tell me the drop off location is not accepting cars on that day but he could work it so I could do it the following day. I had to think on that because that was gonna be $100 more and to be honest money's tight for everyone. So the next day I called back to confirm I would take it because I need to get home. The lady told me she was sorry but the guy I previously talked to had no right to tell me that. There was no way I could do a one way trip from my picked location to my destination. So she patched me in with her supervisor. Now this is where they get a negative 5 star. My son and I asked about 5 different locations to do this from and to. All these locations were denied to us with an attitude. My son was actually calm through all this when asking these places which surprised me because his face was reading something else. In the middle of him asking a certain location the supervisor told him he needed to calm down. Ok. First of all he was not being a Karen so who was she to say calm down to him? Second of all the way she stated it was very unperfessional. The tone she had, she should not be in customer service. And then when he went to ask about a 6th location the lady hung up. She said she could not help and hung up. No " can I help you with anything else" no " I'm sorry we cannot help you at this time". She was flat out rude as hell. The kicker... my parents were on their way down to get me when they ran into car problems. They called and the lady they talked to said they had what i needed and was looking for. In a location that we specifically asked about. And also...they can't rent me a car but they can try to sell me one. Yeah. Definitely not recommending them. Definitely not using them again. A local business sponsored my autistic sons vacation, me being inexperienced, accidentally booked it for personal use instead of business (since it was paid for by a business card).. when i arrived i was denied the vehicle check in. When i contacted the business owner who paid for it, they asked to talk to Tate the manager.. Tate didnt try to resolve this.. not understanding the issue the business owner swore and Tate totally declined our reservation and declined us to even come get it tomorrow or make a new reservation.. so now my autistic son does not get to go on vacation through enterprise... thanks Tate, you represent enterprise poorly. I didnt realize 1 F bomb in frustration made you able to ruin a 9 year old autistic childs vacation. read more

I needed a rental car. My ins referred me to Enterprise. They didn't have any cars on Thursday. They told me the first available would be Tuesday and to reserve online. I reserved online for Tuesday at noon. Received an email confirmation of the rental indicating my ins co name and claim number. On Monday ins adjuster called to see if I had received the rental car. I explained the situation. He said he would send the request again to be sure enterprise has it for Tuesday. Received a call from Tate. He was rude. Told me they have no cars available. I tried to explain I placed an online reservation for Tuesday at noon and received a confirmation which included my ins name and claim number. He told me I was wrong. The reservation I made was private pay. He was very mean and nasty. I was shaking. We were close by so we went to the office to explain in person and show them the email confirmation. A very nice lady attempted to help us. When Tate heard I was the person he spoke with over the phone he jumped up from his desk and came over. He told me I was wrong about having a confirmation. I attempted to show him my email. He demanded that I step around the counter and look at the computer monitor. I did not. I told him I don't know their software system and didn't feel comfortable walking behind their desk. The manager came out of his office (Zack). He raised his voice and told me he heard Tate talking to me on the phone. He blocked me in the office by standing between me and the door. I tried to explain I had a reservation confirmation. Tate raised his voice and told Zack I did not call in to confirm my Email confirmation. (I have never had to confirm an email confirmation for a rental car in the past) I said I didn't know I had to confirm a confirmation. I came because I wanted to show them what I received from Enterprise for my pick up Tuesday. Zack's face got very red and he raised his voice to me and told me to "shut up or I'm not renting you a car!" Then he walked behind the desk and demanded I come behind the desk. I was waiting for him to point a gun at me! There was no way I was going behind the desk!!! I do not feel a customer should go behind a desk! I was stunned. I just looked at him. He asked me a question - I cannot remember what the question was because I was so upset. I didn't answer him. He screamed "Answer me!" I said "you told me to shut up or you wouldn't rent me a car. I do not want your car". I then walked out. I went across the street and rented a car without a problem. The lady who was ahead of me in line had been at Enterprise before me. She was visibly upset. She was an elderly lady with a walker. They picked her up with a gentleman - possibly her son. Tate and Zack were nasty to her, refused to rent her a car, and she was stranded there with no ride. The man with her called the rental company across the street. The kind lady there closed her shop and drove across the street to pick this elderly woman and her son up and bring them back to rent a car. The lady was still so upset over how Enterprise treated her she nearly fell when she got up from her chair to go out to her rental car. I know how upset I was, and I cannot imagine how this frail, elderly lady felt. Tate and Zack shame on you! You both are bullies with anger issues. They have no customer service skills. I have read reviews by Stacey Grant (on Google) and Abeer A on Yelp regarding these two employees. (Please note I did not refer to them as men - they clearly are not men) I have rented many cars through Enterprise with no issues. This is my first experience with the Indiana, PA location. Indiana Enterprise customers deserve better and should not have to face this level of abuse for a rental car. read more

I hope that branch at Indiana, PA has a video camera to show how poorly they treated my 80 year old father. I have never seen an abuse in power from anyone as bad as I've witnessed today. I originally booked a rental with Enterprise months in advance from Saturday 4/15 to Saturday 4/22 out of state. As Im picking up my rental, the agent said I am listed on the do not rent list. Confused, I've never rented directly from Enterprise. I was told the only way to get off the list is to resolve the issue with the location that put me on the list. Except it's Saturday afternoon and offices are closed until Monday. I am in a place I've never been and dont know anyone. None of the rentals in the airport have any cars available, let alone a one way drop. Now I'm stuck trying to find another rental. A lot of burden put onto someone on vacation when the error was caused to Zach at Indiana, PA. My father, Dr Ibrahim Affaneh, 80 year retired professor of the community for over 30 years, went to the branch Indiana PA this morning to speak to Zach and see why I was put on the list. Now this is where security footage is important, as I was listening to the partial conversation and I am adamant based on Zach and Tates disgusting behavior that they will lie through their teeth to cover themselves. Zach and Tate refused to help my father. They had their backs turned to him and ignored his request for help. Zach was heard repeatedly saying "I'm not going to keep repeating myself, I will not help you, and I don't want to" My father put me on speak and I said "you are speaking to an 80 year old man, do not talk to my father that way, respect your elders." My father pleaded for Zach to listen. I spoke loudly on speaker and said "Zach listen, risk management stated that you have remove me from the do not rent list in order to resolve this." He replied "I don't want to , I don't have to." So why was I put on the list you may ask? My father rented a vehicle last june 2022 and during the return of the vehicle, they claim, my father was in the passenger seat (80 years old) with my older brother in the driver's seat. From my understanding, my older brother was not listed as an authorized driver and Zach put my father on the do not rent list. But instead put ME on the DNR. Not only that, my father was not notified of the issue at all. No call, no email, no letter. Zach made a major mistake and error. So when he said " I don't want to, I don't care" I was so baffled and rightfully angry, I replied back saying "what do you mean you don't want to? You fucked up!" With that, shockingly with his disgusting behavior he stated he won't talk to me because I cursed at him. I request he give me his managers name to escalate, he said "I'm not going to give you that and I don't have to." My father later returned without my knowledge and pleaded with Zach. Stating to leave his daughter out of this so I can find a way home. Zach and Tate refused. My dad stated to them that he will sue them for punitive damages, distress, and negligence. They continued to ignore him, he left. I talked to my father after and he was really upset. With his heart condition , my mom and I calmed him down. To resolve this issue I want an apology. 1. Zach and Tate to apologize to my father with your presence (phone or in person. 2. Zach to apologize to me for his errors and disgusting behavior. 3. Compensation for my out of pocket expenses incurred due to Zachs errors or a future Compensation on a rental. 4. Zach and Tate to reported to HR. 5. Zach to be reprimanded. Someone like him should not be in customer service. If he treats customers like this, I can't imagine how he treats family and friends. The agent at location I rented has reported Zach to HR corporate and has apologized on his behalf. Enterprise Customer service has apologized on his behalf. Kim that removed me from the do not rent list, has apologized on his behalf. Zach has not apologized for his mistakes. And yet he seems proud and has zero remorse for his behavior. A couple years ago, I broke down and rented a car for a few days. My vehicle was in the shop and no other way to get to work. I did this with great reluctance because of more than one airport car rental fiasco. To my surprise, Enterprise accepted my debit card as opposed to the usual credit card requirement. The vehicle was immaculate and an upgrade at no additional cost. I didn't have to jump through hoops during any part of the process. I needed the car an additional day and one simple call set it up. An Enterprise representative picked me up saving me the hassle of finding a ride to get there. Needless to say, I've done business with Enterprise several times since then. read more

Horrible customer Service. I spoke with a man last evening who told me "he was too busy to talk to me and would call me back" after not hearing from him for a few hours I called again because as of today I no longer have a car- it is being towed for damages due to hitting a deer- he said "yep still pretty busy!! Try calling the Johnstown office and see if they'll help you" That is an hour out of my way and I have no way to get there so it was not convenient. I waited until this morning to give it another try and called again. I ended up talking to the same rude man, he said he "MIGHT" have a car at the earliest this afternoon but could not make a promise. I finally just ended up going with Payless because they got me into a vehicle right away. Hitting a deer was not something I planned on doing but I am a single mother with a full time job and my car is a very important part of my life. The Johnstown location was awesome and offered me so many options trying to help me out, I just could not make it work with finding a ride out there to pick it up! read more
